    an excellent job, the modeling of rucksacks with the washes serves as a reference.

      Thank you mate! Really glad your finding this series a lot fun, as its been so much fun for me to work on it, as the M8 is a classic Tamiya kit, one I always passed by in model shops and was always like I need to build that sometime. And I am so happy I finally did as its such a little gem lol
      thanks mate :)

    Great work Mate well worth the wait. I've stayed away from Vallejo paints preferring my Tamiyas but I'm going to have to try your method of thinning them & give them a go. Stowage looks great nice effects too. Very inspirational video thanks for sharing. Stay safe. Steve.

      Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! I tend to use Tamiya and Vallejo as my main paints for my projects, they both have their strengths. I would recommend giving Vallejo a go with the airbrush and see if it suits you, they are pretty versatile once you get used to them.

    *Such a nice result, weathering is long and repetitive but very good!*

      Thank you! Glad you guys are enjoying the project so far! I am just beginning to create the first layers of dust on the M8 at the moment, so hopefully the next the episode won't be long
      I used to have a Patreon but it never really took off, so I closed it down some time ago.

      It took about two weeks worth of a few hours at the bench at a time, I say excluding drying time it took about 14-16hrs

    Before using the oil wash did you seal the paint work with varnish on your stowage. Thank you.

    One of my favorite vehicles, lots of details to pop out and catch dirt etc.

    Hi, do you varnish the model before applying the oils and the decals? If so what type? I've been told that you should use gloss for pin washes etc but semi gloss or matte for a dot filter with oil? Any advice would be much appreciated? I've subscribed to the channel.

    • @longlance67
      @longlance67  Рік тому

      I tend to gloss varnish my model with clear gloss or Vallejo Premium Gloss ready for decals and oil dot filters
