this is coming along nicely.... my M8 is lying unloved in the stash (well not unloved, just not ready to build) but will be using your techniques o the IBG Otter I am currently building (and really need to start with a lighter OD as I usually end up too dark)...
I love that Tamiya M8 and the M20. You are doing a great job on this Matt. I have an old copy of Tamiya Magazine and you built the M20 along with the Tamiya German assault figures do you remember ? Always inspirational Mate. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks mate. The Ak faded OD is a good start I think. I didn't really notice much difference spraying it over the AK OD. Good luck.
*Use several brands of paint is a good idea and gives more possibility for the variation. Excellent!*
