Very useful video, many thanks.
Perfect video - short and helpful. Thanks Mike! I think I rented from you 10 years ago :)
Hey Jerry. Thank you for your feedback, its highly appreciated.
Very slick
Thanks, that just solved quite a bit of head scratching.
Brilliant ! thankyou . just picked up
my first Kombi 😄
Excellent. Good luck Tom!
Thanks, I was beginning to think they were permanently fixed.
VERY useful thank you.
Hi, great video!!!
I am looking for a caddy I can change into a mini camper just for myself. This looks great. Could you tell me what model it is (specifications or link to this particular model) and the length in back after removal of seats? Thanks
Can this seats be set as conference style facing each other ?
The video starts at 1:40
Brill vid, where did you get those covers from.
The ones on the rear seats are genuine VW ones. However we will be starting to stock seat covers shortly on the website.
Really useful video - do you sell those seat covers?
Unfortunately not. Bought direct from VW
Do you have a link to the seat covers please? Thanks!
I think they are town & country, Mine came from caravans and are a excellent fit both front & rear
Thank you so much for this video. I was wondering if you could let me know what brand of seat covers you have on the rear seats. I have been looking for good ones like these. Thank you.
Hi, those rear seat covers are the VW Commercial ones, available from your local VW commercial garage. Luckily they came with these seats when I bought them 2nd hand! They do fit well and have repelled everything the kids and dog have thrown at them so far. I can also recommend Turtle Covers as I have them on the front seats.
@@kiravans5874 thanks for the helpful video. One of my single seats has suddenly decided it won't tip forward for access to the rear. I can't see any obstruction and it hasn't taken any knocks. Any idea how I could fix it? Can't see anything about it anywhere!
@@jpcecil82 Hi, sorry to hear that. This is not something I have encountered so I can't recommend anything apart from contacting VW.
I've just bought my first VW T5 so have subscribed to your excellent channel. I don't think my +1 seat folds flat but will go and check after my morning cuppa. I want to sleep in my kombi but don't want it to be.a camper, so I am looking at all the options including removing all seats for my away trips and sleeping on the fllor with a good sleeping pad, like the Mondo King. Stupid question - what boots are you wearing? They look just what I need for my upcoming projects. Thanks and all the best 😎
😆.... they are an ancient pair of Caterpillar boots. Falling apart now after 10 years of service! I'm on the hunt for a new pair.
Hi, we want to do the same with our T32. Don't want a full blown camper but want to be able to do day trips out with the family so need some storage options and still use it as my van for to and from work during the week. All I seem to find though are camper conversions.
Hi , when I pull on my tabs nothing happens . How else can I get it to fold
Not sure why that would be. Contact our help desk at help@kiravans.co.uk and we will try to work it out with you.
Pull them backwards !!!!
Yes, you're right - I didn't make that very clear in the video. It's a lift up and pull backwards motion. Thanks 👍
You said to slam it forward then pull it out, if you push the front passenger seat all the way forward so the seat behind has enough room to move, the small tabs at the front will release cleanly and you don't have to slam anything 😶 what you said was a bit misleading and incorrect, if you remove the seat as I explained you'll find it a super easy without slamming anything, enjoy your day
