This is a great idea for a series, takes me back to the days I was more into playing with my friends and checking out local shops. And I’m glad to see that is still the case in many local environments.
This was actually so good, the format felt great and you casting experience really made it super fun to watch the games and everything just felt so clean
It'd be really nice if the deck list was put at the start of the video so we know what we're looking at and how certain deck building choices are realised in the gameplay
Meanwhile, Konami HQ is rubbing their hands with glee as they create another wave of BA support. P.S Play Fossil Kaijus. Hilariously anti-meta and people get REALLY annoyed with Fossil Fusion hehe
@@Ragnarok540 yeah. My build focuses more on going second and doing a load of damage/OTK via Skullgios/Skull King/Convoy plus a kaiju. Using loads of board-wipes plus the kaijus to fill the graveyard up, and cards like Mathematician, Foolish and Miracle Rupture to dump and search. It's not foolproof, and certainly has more trouble with decks with lower-level monsters. But you can still use the kaijus as material, even if the results are not quite as strong.
I cannot stress this enough to the other locals vloggers - COMMENTATE YOUR GAMES. Farfa made this ten times more enjoyable than any other locals clog I’ve seen simply by explaining what’s going on and doing away with the horrible in shop audio that most vlogs are for some reason fine with.
@farfa I really like this idea for a video series. It's cool to try and help newer players get an idea of what going to locals feels like and helping them get an idea of what matches feel like rather than just on Master Duel. Please keep them coming 😊
Its sooooo fun to watch, I think it is because of the narration maybe? or just fun duels in general. anyways, expecting a lot more of content like this. keep it up king.
I really like this. I will probably watch all of this, if you make more. Also, really cool to see you play a non-top-tier deck and see what you can make out of it - gives me motivation to go to locals myself ^^
Congrats buddy and one day I'll get back to my Homeland of Scotland! My great-great-grandparents came to the US from Scotland to work with Thomas Edison as one of his pattern makers because the Scottish were really good at carving molds perfectly! So one day I will get back to Scotland to see my long-lost kinsmen that I have never gotten to meet yet! And congrats farfa for producing all this great content I love so much and thank you for all you do may your ancestry live on through your beautiful self! 👍🤘😊
"I'll be heading to locals multiple times a week" What kind of fantasy land does this guy live in? I'm lucky if enough people show up for our weekly tournaments. :^(
Maybe he lives near a city with multiple stores? Or there are multiple cities each with their won locals withing his driving distance? I know I go to 2 locals a week. They are each about 30 minutes of driving away from me and are in different cities.
Since you announced this, i have been patiently waiting on it knowing it would be awesome. Some of the stuff that introduced me to your channel were your vlogs like the one where you bought a "ready to play" deck on ebay and went to locals. Hope this will be a regular series, maybe mix it up sometimes with live gameplay.
This is a very good type of content. Sharing your mindset and afthought while showing the gameplay of your live duel. Sometimes you realised what you shouldve done better only if you watch yourself duel thoroughly in a replay, which most of us dont have access to in a local.
Ngl, I really liked those matches. This kind of slow decks really makes the game shine with all the interactions and makes easy to see who is good at the game and who just streamroll their combos for the win
This is pretty cool haha I usually chase farfas funny not so serious content but this has been entertaining and educating. Great job my guy keep it up !!!
I wanna see what you can cook up with Libromancer. It's a super fun archetype that's really flexible with how you can use it. Its been mashed up with Dogmatika, PUNK, Mathmech/Cyberse cards, Mikanko, Synchrons & potentially VS now. That's not ebven mentioning all the ways you can build it pure as well. Also basically all the cards are coming as commons in the new megatin so it should be really cheap to build
Labrynth would be cool to see! Watching Burning Abyss play is a great thing for me though, because I started playing a lot later and don't really know what the cards do, so watching someone continuously play it teaches you quite a bit (although you don't get around reading them at some point).
Since you're trying out new decks, why not take a shot at Exosisters? Most of their primary cards will be reprinted in the mega tins (except for Magnifica, which is slowly going up in price)
I never understood how many times yu gi oh players can play with and shuffle the three same cards over and over again and they never change that’s crazy
Needle Ceiling says "When there are 4 or more monsters on the field", doesn't that mean you HAVE to use it right at the moment the number of monsters on board becomes 4?
I love a good trap deck and yeah get rid of trap trick, the trade off just isn't worth it when you consider just drawing a decent trap card in the first place and this game has enough decent traps. Only time trap trick is viable in a trap deck is when it's searching for a continuous floodgate which isn't how I personally like playing trap decks because that trap card you search needs to have the value of multiple trap cards.
It only took 3 years for Farfa to finally use his green screen for its intended purpose.
He's such a visionary
Lol indeed
Yeah the green screen work was crazy, I almost really thought he went to a locals and was around other people :0
Jooooooo just noticed bc of that comment. Was watching till the end and didn't noticed. Tf FINALLY
Jooooooo just noticed bc of that comment. Was watching till the end and didn't noticed. Tf FINALLY
Take a shot for everytime farfa has had "one final ride" with ba
I like that master duel is so popular they made a cardboard game from it :)
Rush Duels were so popular in Japan, that they made a spinoff that was released internationally: Speed Duels!
@@guestb8389 Rush Duel came out more than a year after Speed Duel though. ;)
@@RyanAtlus You mean modern day Yu-Gi-Oh right? Right? Those are certainly "Rush" duels.

Real

Genuinely love the idea behind this series
i very much agree with you

Would nut so hard at a new wave of BA support
Is fossil a deck without block dragon?

Farfa uploaded a BA deck profile video while using the green screen the way it intended to do. What a day.
I would normally write a deck list to my favourite deck, gem knights, but i am exhausted... Play what you love
That intro gives huge “pend is not the best deck right now, IT’S THE BEST DECK OF ALL TIME BABY” vibes
not knowing what burning abyss does is like being a new character in season 17 of a tv show
I love how everyone uses the pkmn black and white unwavering heart ost for sad background music.
Enjoyed this vlog style content quite a lot.
Farfa out here with the German Traptrick🙃

great video, excited to see where this series goes
your Salamangreat Ebay list is one of my favorite yugioh video ever so I'm really excited for this series! this first episode also fire, keep it up!

Please more of this content Farfa, its a joy to see playing with physical cards and commentary
Love this content and looking forward to see next week’s episode ❤
Really enjoied that, pls more. Thx
This video was so fun to watch, I loved it and I need more.

Thats wild seeing Comicrazy 😂😂 Didnt know they did locals since the new ownership change not long ago
I already love this local vlog series
More of this series please, it's enjoyable to watch 😊
I wish that Duelist Alliance format was more popular.
This is a fantastic idea and even better execution
The Fast 7 of Farfa's deck.... RIP.... You'll be remembered once again if Rata make an Archetype Archive of it.....
Just wanted to say that quality of this video is very nice, also u provide one of the best commentary i ve seen on live duel content.
I think you should stick with BA next time, "B"lock golem "A"damancipator
This is super interesting. I like the build too.
Comicrazy is like a 15 minute drive from me. Never actually been before
I've been thinking of going to locals in my city but don't really know everything I'm suppose to have or know before going
Great video! I hope you do many more episodes! ❤ Loved it

0:15 "one last" farfa months later: hey guys im doing another BA VIDEO!
My favourite part of the video: "Is burning abyss a real deck? No."
The last match case is why I like siding out solemn cards and opt for more niche trap on the side
I really like this. Didn't know farfa could speak proper english.

Really like this format and the musics from WC2011 are just a perfect fit.
Dang your locals looks fun. All I see at mine is 3 Kashtiras in a row.
Why not lock yourself into playing a deck from each year, from BA format forward?

So we've reached the "I quit" levels of yugituber clickbait
ok you have my thoughts and prayers, but good video would love to see more
as someone who is in fact still putting sky striker cards in their deck, I'd like to see some sky striker cards in his deck

BA is definitely one of thosr archetypes that would come up and be payable in most formats
I like the devs cards style of yet content a lot
