@EinDose it is language and syntax. It is very divorced by what came first it is mainly goofy managing of something that should be relatively simple to understand and standardize. But YGO is weird with "when" being missable with timings but "if" is not. "Even if not" appears on some cards where they can activate and resolve effects in a different zone then when the original effect was activated. There is also old syntax like "select" but it not being equivalent to "target" which is always a "cost" which are associated and represented by ";" but not all the time because the semi colon is relatively new and a lot of old cards have costs without the semi colon which confused even more people. Then there are the resolution of syntax effects like how "then" effects only fully resolve once the prior clause/condition is completed in full. "Both" only has to effect one of 2 targets because if you're worded like Promethean Princess as long as 1 of both targets is destroyed you resummon her as opposed to Little Knight where if one of both targets isn't present after the effect tries to resolve the effect whiffs in its entirety. YGO syntax is purposely egregious as far as card games go and I'm always looking for specific keywords for how cards are supposed to work in these games and YGO is literally the only game where you can't possibly intuit what words on the card mean by reading the words on the friggin card.
@geiseric222 the vast majority of cards don't matter in this case where the meta actually contains the minority of cards that are the most represented with this wording. Even if a card says what it does the rulings of ygo's syntax changes how the words function on the card down to a gameplay level.
Maybe it's just Master Duel, but there's something about Nouvelle that just turns off people's brains. They'll attack, get their monster tributed, attack again, repeat until I beat them with the double burger combo.
No one ever remembers Crystal Wing has a second effect and that it's not once per battle phase. I've even watched someone OTK themselves trying to run him over.
My personal favorites are in the gate guardian archetype. Wind and water can negate spell/traps TWICE per turn. Water and thunder can reduce stats to 0 TWICE per turn, and can wait for the damage step to minimize responses. Combined can stop effects that target ANY of my cards, not just himself, can do it THREE TIMES per turn, AND can do it multiple times per chain. Labyrinth wall shadow is also a floodgate that prevents battle for low/no level monsters AND can pop a 1600 or less monster at the start of the battle phase. For every single one of those effects, i’ve had multiple opponents either not read or not comprehend them. Several have scoop of shame’d afterward, but 1 swordsoul player on master duel ran into most of these effects all in 1 duel and still kept going until he ran out of LP. He would have had my respect for his tenacity if i wasn’t too busy laughing.
I have multiple here but read as you will. Shoutout to Rapid Trigger for Borreload Furious and other available fusion targets with it Had a duel once Cyberse vs Aliens (long before Terahertz release and Circular hit): I end turn with Cosmic Slicer Zer'oll, Alien Overlord and Planet Pollutant Virus set, they summon I:P under Wicckid I fire Virus with Overlord then proceeded to link climb into Unicorn, Accesscode and then Update Jammer without seeing that counters went on as they are summoned And lastly a classic of mine in the form of a lock: Wicckid pointing to Honeybot and both pointing to a Quantum Dragon/Cyberse Magician/Clock Dragon
i learned about wicckid having protection from playing duel links. its one of those cards i have to read every time. "ok hold on this had an effect. what was it again?"
It seems like most of the time when theres an effect thats overlooked its usually a short immunity sentence at the start of the entire cards description
No one reads firewall dragon singularity effect to special summon if a monster linked to it is sent to the graveyard, or the effect of terrahertz to negate monster effects in the battle phase. I won many games because those two effects were not handled well
Evil Hero: Malicious Fiend is my personal reading kryptonite. I went into the battle phase with that thing and watched in horror as all my defense position Superheavy Samurai monsters switched to attack position.
For me its majespter. Every single main deck majepster has the effect "cannot be targeted or destoyed by opponents card effects" yet i still have had people activate dark hole mirror force or try to imperm them (more often in master duel though)
I did this shit with my own card once. For over 6 years of playing mermail, I never once noticed that gaios prevents level 7 and higher monsters from attacking. It just never came up. It never mattered. Until one game when it did, and I couldn't OTK because both of my megalos couldn't attack.
Back when I went through my time thief springans phase at locals, I had a lot of fun with Tally-ho springans. The spell's grave recursion lets it detach an XYZ material from a monster on field to add itself back to your hand... but it doesn't specify it has to be your monster. This almost never comes up... but more than once I stole a game because my opponent would go all-in to break my board, pass with a 2-material zeus, and then I'd take their only interaction away before I even tried to crackback.
I don't know if it would count, but a double Wind Witch-protected, Hi-Speedroid Chanbara. 1. They repeatedly attempt to destroy the card despite having both the Wind Witch protections. And I mean multiple times in both ways... 2. Then they also cannot seem to understand that its ATK increases with every battle AND can attack twice per turn. I have been cursed at and accused more than a dozen times of somehow hacking Nexus due to this.
Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon is a funny card because sometimes even I forget about its destruction protection. Love seeing people activating Harpie's without reading the first line of text on the monster I just summoned.
I once had a match vs. a Mikanko player who didn't realize that Shooting Majestic's ignition effect negation was 1. Permanent 2. Non-targeting. Let to a lot of hilarity when their board got demolished. Same with using Trishula on them.
A Masquerena-buffed Avramax's only weakness are cards that don't allow effects to be used in the Battle Phase (or Damage Step). The issue is that even if you manage to beat over it, you lose your best monster because it non-target SPINS (probably the best kind of removal alongside banish face-down).
Full Armor Master (yes, ALL cards means ALL cards, but thx anyway for that effect activation that netted you a Wedge counter) Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon (protection effect twice removed, meaning the player does not only need to look at the card that was summoned by its effect and their materials, but also at Accel itself to realize why any and all removal just doesn't work, it's devious)
The fact the Speedroid thing has happened to me, I got the card, wanted to try it and battled a gren maju player, I basically summoned it again and again until they got out Numeron Dragon and they say "I attack for game" and I just replyed "Yeah, that's game....I win" XD
at the CYAC sneak, the only way to out the Mikanko lock is by having a Synchro monster on field and then Visas trap set to negate the spell, otherwise your only win con after they set this up is having no monsters on field and your opponent having no monsters with attack in the deck (which wont happen). Some people at the locals had 3 copies each.
Blue-Eyes jet dragon for me, lol. Don't know know how many times people try to destroy my cards while Jet was on the field, just to repeat the same process, and none of my cards were getting destroyed.
I know its duel links but i love crystalwing synchro dragon and when my opponents forget that he has a atk boosting effect. So many hero players ftk themselves against this beauty haha
There's an entire pretty logical order for effects, that goes out of the window when the hard opt clause needs be placed in the card because the tcg doesnt number effects, they just use the hopt clause as a block separator.
I've got one: Magical Musketeers, especially Caspar. They're great for testing if the opponent has object permanence. I've actually won a couple of games _on the opponent's battle phase_ because they watch me add "Magical Musket - Cross Domination" to hand earlier in the turn, and then try to swing at me while they're low on life points. Weirdest part is this was happening back when Avramax was popular... they probably could have rolled me if they just made him with I:P.
I’ve been running Koa’ki Meiru Drago in Armed Dragon for over 4 years now. The amount of times people tried to Nibiru or Underworld Goddess it was shocking. Just sitting there like “what attribute is the monster you’re trying to special summon? Aaaaand what attribute monsters are you not able to special summon?” Of course thanks to Tenpai everyone knows this card now, but it’s still frustrating to deal with for most decks
Fellow Darklord player spotted!! But for me it's using Greater poly to make the First Darklord, the number of times my opponents have tried to use destruction to remove will never not be funny. Had a Blackwing player spend 3 turns trying to out it, from Chaos Angel to various Blackwing boss monsters, but as long as I refused to use the effect they could just not out it.
I had this situation earlier. I set up the Buster lock. My opponent failed to realise that links were affected by this even though they were not put in defence. They climbed up to Accesscode before realising they could not do anything and then scooped. Reading is a plague for players
Yep, I main Icejades and i expected Kosmochlor to make it in the video. Not only it makes it hard to battle Icejades when it's time to battle, but when any type of summoning, Enote Cradle reduces atk of all opponent's monsters with the chosen Icejade to reduce both that Icejade and all your opponent's monsters on the field. Then Kosmochlor herself reduces 1500 more atk when an Icejade monster battles. then you have to deal with the Icejade lock when it is online.
Battle Ocean can be added with sea Angel and returned to the hand upon Coral Anemone's destruction on the field, so equipping that with Battle Ocean immediately returns it to the hand.
crooked cook is so funny because that card is the reason i found out downerd magician does piercing damage and has an actual effect besides being an extra zeus material
The Rescue-Ace REINFORCE! have a neat little hidden effect besides give your rescue ace monster 1500 atk. It makes the monster unaffected by monsters effects so i watched my oponnent go Baronnes > targets Turbulence > Chain Reinforce. His brain shrinked, Falmberge effect > no, link into Unicorn, Link into SP, XYZ Garunix, ZEA-FRIGIN-LANTIS. Every time with a pause between effects, he was clearly reading Turbulance like over and over and over again molding: "WHAT THE F' IS HAPPENING?!?!"
Decisive Battle of Golgonda is VERY good at making people do stupid things. The amount of times my opponents have attempted to do a full board wipe (e.g. with Black Rose Dragon or Rollback->Elemental Burst) while I had up Golgonda protection is pretty silly.
It always amuses me when I summon an Earthbound Immortal and my opponent then tries to run it over in battle only to discover it can't even be attacked.
You know, it's funny you bring up throwing: 1) I think that might have been what was happening with that Golden Castle clip. 2) I would rather throw than surrender. Funnily enough, that's won me a few duels. My opponent can't tell what I'm doing, so they panic and run as I attempt to self-OTK myself. Admittedly, once or twice I had some interruption that blocked their attempt to interrupt. Which hey, that farms up my duel pass a touch. Only reason I throw...
The number of of games I have won and lost because neither my opponent or myself can read that Lord of The Heavenly Prison protects ALL set cards is far more than it should be
Nouvelles The amount of times an opponent has attacked into an entire climb from Buerillabasse until they had no more monsters to attack with is just hilarious.
Suprised Herald of the arc light's banish effect wasn't mentioned. It's the type of effect I would always forget and sometimes I would activate droplets and would be like: why game bugged? I can't send monsters... Famous card in the Halq era ofc but since then hasn't really seen any play.
My answer to your question is Chaos Angel. A while ago, I was dueling a Speedroid player and they couldn't out it after I used a LIGHT and a DARK to Synchro Summon it. I eventually got to a Thunder Dragon Colossus, but they eventually drew Super Polymerization and got rid of my field, and I surrendered on the spot.
Dinomorphia Rexterm. First there's the "why my card stop working?" moment, then they don't read the entire card and try to attack over it and have the "why's my monster now got 500ATK in the damage step?" moment.
Linear is deceptively complicated due to its wording/secondary effect of having to count cards in graveyard/the number of cards opponent controls/the multiplication, all of it together makes it a bit daunting, but it is doable. 6 x 500 = Max 3000 damage to you if you guess wrong about the number of cards in your graveyard (not hard if paying attention/counting cards in your graveyard. (This could be mitigated with a card like Barrel Behind the Door, so your opponent takes the damage instead.) As for the chosen number you choose Plus cards opponent owns, the number could be anywhere between 7, (a 1 star) +1 for monster on field... all the way to 90 (for a level 13 monsters + 12 cards on field) so if keeping track of your graveyard and if your opponent has the necessary monster and cards on the field that matches the chosen number X the chosen monster + cards on field (too complicated in my opinion) if all that matches with the cards in your graveyard, you can further add to the cards in your graveyard while forcing your opponent to shuffle their cards. While that isn't too bad of an effect especially if your deck relies on cards in graveyard. - I would say the other effect is much easier to pull off, call it wrong and call 6 all the time, and use Barrel Behind the Door. Easy 3k damage to opponent, and you could us something like transaction rollback to deal further damage/use other burn cards for some great one turn kill potential.
Personally, I like the times where I used Greater Poly on the Firts Darklord and had multiple people crash endlessly towards it and doing even scooping because they never read what those cards do.
It's funny to see people's reactions to Subterror Final Battle. Most people just seem to stop reading it by the fourth effect and are shocked that they can't negate my subterror monster's activated effects. Bonus points if it's a floodgate like Skill Drain.
Blackwinged assault dragon the amount of times I’ve won duels because they have less then 700 life points use a monster effect they explode then I win and start laughing is more then 1
Sometimes I wish the timer was just a bit longer during duels just so I can use the extra time to read cards out loud to myself so I don't get tricked by wacky instances like this. I normally read cards out loud to myself if I don't recognize them, but the 300 second timer doesn't always let me do that, and it drives me crazy!
Just yesterday I met someone trying to run into my defense position Cactus Bouncer on Aromaseraphy Jasmine's link arrow with Centur-Ion Legatia while I'm chilling over healing myself and thinking "Cn't they just chip me by attacking Jasmine instead?" before they scooped.
My shout out is Att pos Bagooska, because for some reason me, all of my friends, and apparently everyone below diamond in MD only remembers either the untargetable or indestructible because they are separate sentences. Like I think everyone knows it has att pos protection tho, so there is this weird attempt to play around half the effect that fails sometimes which is so funny.
personal example ive seen i cant tell you how funny it is see someone swing into swing into one of my suship xyz while it has vanilla shari and piercing the darkness on the board
16:39 regarding effect placement consistency, may I direct your attention to... Sky Striker Ace Kagari: 1st the on-summon, 2nd the atk manip, *3rd the summon restriction* Sky Striker Ace Shizuku: 1st the atk manip, 2nd the end phase search, *3rd the summon restriction* Sky Striker Ace Hayate: *1st the summon restriction* 2nd the direct attack, 3rd the on-attack Sky Striker Ace Kaina: 1st the on-summon, 2nd the LP gain, *3rd the summon restriction* wtf hayate, you were the third one to come out x( Also Anjelly and Puddingcess are the only Madolche out of 13 to have the destruction grave shuffle NOT in first :)
A few years ago for duel links I just played gren maju Stromberg decks, 99% of people would try to attack and Stromberg would just go off and they would end up damaging themselves or killing themselves. I blame it on the amount of text and people just not wanting to read lmao
PHNI format: Nightmare Pain and Spirit of Yubel/OG Yubel. Nightmare Pain's battle damage reflect being a continuous effect and Yubel's floating not being OPT won me a win-a-mat side event at a regional.
Been on pacifis with my maso challenge and honestly so many of their cards follow this prompt. The amount of time people just waste removal on the token for a new one to pop back up. Sea stealth attack the amount of times people just crash into a token. Had a numeron player the other night sink 3 of the gates into a token. The same goes with Piercing the darkness had someone ram an obelisk into my token and add had someone summon the cyber dark end dragon. There's nothing funnier than seeing a 7500 atk token
Black feather whirlwind. I've legit seen so many people try to pop my cards when I have tokens on field. Seriously dude, I have a continuous spell, the game is not just big scary dragon bird that bites my ass everytime I use a monster attack, read the virtual cardboard.
I like playing spirits casually Tsumaha-Kutsunagi is great for people not realizing that it ruins most people's plans hard. They think "Oh another spirit, itll just go away at the end of the turn" yes. it will. and so will all your cards.
And we are back *click click* with another twitter thread!
Shoutouts to Borreload Savage Dragon.

REAL AND TRUE
LOL YEAH ITS SO DUMB
Desirae: I'm so jealous rn.
the rare book of moon negate
why doesnt it
"infernoid evil effect, banish onuncu as cost?"
"ok that's fine"
"ok dump 10 infernoids"
"WHAT"
Dude I can't wait till they add Evil to MD, it will singlehandedly revive my drive to learn 40 card infernoid.
i still cannot believe they cards released AFTER the infernoid support while they were ocg only. put them in md konami i stg

Plunder patrol just has a lot of extenders
Fun fact all of them can be ashed and the deck pretty much dies to an interuption once they have made their board.
The deck goes through a resource generation choke point after which they plus into the sun but if they get stopped at the first ship effect they just dont have resources to use any further ships.

Plunder stays winning

Friend got to king of games in duel links at one point purely off of players obliterating themselves off Stromberg lmao
The "once per turn" text is probably the culprit behind this, as it can mislead people who skim the effect.

Playing D-Link under Maxx "C" and watching my opponent throw half their deck at Borrelend, achieving absolutely nothing and shame scooping after, is peak comedy.
Small world.
I sorta know what it does, but every time I start to read it, by the end of it I catch remember the start of it.
i honestly blame the wording of the card text as it really is just mill 2 and search 1 but is worded so convoluted

OK but why not linear equation cannon

Where is Psychic End Punisher?
The peak Master Duel Time Out card
Yup easily one of my favorite cards to use in master duel, and the funny thing is that it gets outed so easily especially in the upper echelons of events/the ranking/ladder system.
It's so funny bringing it out in totally unexpected decks
It is my turn 3 plan in D/D/D to have both Dark Contracts still useable, so i can search Lamia off Gate and summon it, and fusion summon Purple Armageddon (or Caesar Ragnarok) w/ swamp king, and then make PEP with the two 😂
Bonus points if i used Piri Reis to start my first turn leaving me with guaranteed lower LP and even more LP difference
Man, I really hate the fact that one time I run into Psychic End Punisher is when I play Aromage....
Had a guy the other day try to S:P the Punisher, then Imperm it, then quit. I was on 32 LP at the time.
i had an aneurysm the first time i read bagooska
i always confused which effects happened in which position, i only figured it out once i link summoned agaisnt it
Still don't get it lol
To this day I don't understand how Inspector Boarder works.
For a while I was maining triple book of moon just to avoid having to read that fucking thing.
“Altergeist Protocol” is just one of my favourite cards.
All people see on Masterduel is the one monster negate. Oohh but the card does soooo much more.
Wow, I never knew Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic's effect worked like that.
That effect may have only been used against me back in 2022.
Scareclaw Tri-Heart + Defanging is literally my favorite thing to do ever.
I mostly play Lunalights on MD and I think about 50% of my duels end with the opponent trying to target and/or destroy my Lunalight Leo Dancer and then surrendering, it's great.
Its funny how they're waiting to destroy an important piece of your combo, only for them to realize you went into a partial tower beatstick immediately.
Or negate kaleido chick
Cherubini
“Why BA not die?”
Criminal to not mention the amount of people that try to out Scareclaw Tri-Heart with Typhoon
Earthbound Prison. The archetype isn't complete, so not enough people play Earthbound Prisoners. The field spell has a booby trap at the very end of the text that most players just don't read.
Lol I use this card with a hero deck I made this combined with the whale can be pretty good
I was looking at various fun janky cards for a idea. I came across a few that gave me a slight chuckle because they mess with ATK points "without targeting" and only effects you. So imagine putting these on a normal summons and see how the Opponent reacts.

YGO syntax is purposely egregious as far as card games go and I'm always looking for specific keywords for how cards are supposed to work in these games and YGO is literally the only game where you can't possibly intuit what words on the card mean by reading the words on the friggin card.
@@Altares_Vthis is not true for 99% of cards. The vast majority of cards say exactly what they do
@geiseric222 the vast majority of cards don't matter in this case where the meta actually contains the minority of cards that are the most represented with this wording. Even if a card says what it does the rulings of ygo's syntax changes how the words function on the card down to a gameplay level.
For some reason some people still use activation negations on Danger! cards.. (Ash and Apollousa)
The amount of people I've seen try to throw monster effects like Baronne or Kaleidoheart at Scareclaw Tri-Heart will never not amuse me
I have multiple here but read as you will. Shoutout to Rapid Trigger for Borreload Furious and other available fusion targets with it
Had a duel once Cyberse vs Aliens (long before Terahertz release and Circular hit): I end turn with Cosmic Slicer Zer'oll, Alien Overlord and Planet Pollutant Virus set, they summon I:P under Wicckid I fire Virus with Overlord then proceeded to link climb into Unicorn, Accesscode and then Update Jammer without seeing that counters went on as they are summoned
And lastly a classic of mine in the form of a lock: Wicckid pointing to Honeybot and both pointing to a Quantum Dragon/Cyberse Magician/Clock Dragon
i learned about wicckid having protection from playing duel links. its one of those cards i have to read every time. "ok hold on this had an effect. what was it again?"
Destructive daruma karma cannon. You'd be amazed how many times I've had to explain to my opponent that their unaffected monster dies.
Surprised Fabled Unicore is not on the list, the amount of people that run into it x2-x3 times in a row makes me worry for our species.
All of my cards make my opponent stupid whenever the clock says 0:59 on it
It seems like most of the time when theres an effect thats overlooked its usually a short immunity sentence at the start of the entire cards description
The golden Castle of Stromberg guy is no NPC, he was just pissed that his monster got destroyed so he commited sudoku
I like how the effects are numbered in the Japanese text
Reading "This card is unaffected..." always makes me stop like, Huh?.......🤨
I once had a match vs. a Mikanko player who didn't realize that Shooting Majestic's ignition effect negation was
1. Permanent
The point about the karikuri vs yubel and what order they put the effects in is SO IMPORTANT, KONAMI PLEASE!!
Full Armor Master (yes, ALL cards means ALL cards, but thx anyway for that effect activation that netted you a Wedge counter)
Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon (protection effect twice removed, meaning the player does not only need to look at the card that was summoned by its effect and their materials, but also at Accel itself to realize why any and all removal just doesn't work, it's devious)
The fact the Speedroid thing has happened to me, I got the card, wanted to try it and battled a gren maju player, I basically summoned it again and again until they got out Numeron Dragon and they say "I attack for game" and I just replyed "Yeah, that's game....I win" XD
The amount of times that I made my enemy waste their baron negate by using branded fusion with branded lost on the field is astounding
at the CYAC sneak, the only way to out the Mikanko lock is by having a Synchro monster on field and then Visas trap set to negate the spell, otherwise your only win con after they set this up is having no monsters on field and your opponent having no monsters with attack in the deck (which wont happen). Some people at the locals had 3 copies each.
The sheer amount of people who refuse to accept that Naturia Beast is unlimited spell negates and keep running spells into it is staggering.
i always do that lol, its just so frustrating you might as well try to deck them out lol
@@uuh4yj43 Oh 100% if you can then do it! It's same as the Maxx "C" challenge.
I can't tell you the amount of times in Diamond, people have flipped imperm on Sera... Really makes you think
The ones that always got me were those level 4 bls support cards that give the ritual bonus effects
Blue-Eyes jet dragon for me, lol.
Don't know know how many times people try to destroy my cards while Jet was on the field, just to repeat the same process, and none of my cards were getting destroyed.
for my locals its always machina citadel, they always stop and read it and argue me on its quick effect
Battle Ocean can be added with sea Angel and returned to the hand upon Coral Anemone's destruction on the field, so equipping that with Battle Ocean immediately returns it to the hand.
i liked using strike of the monarchs at the last second to turn off a piece of protection when they thought i was walking into a trap
crooked cook is so funny because that card is the reason i found out downerd magician does piercing damage and has an actual effect besides being an extra zeus material
I hate that they waited until RUSH DUELS to actually standardize the way card effect descriptions are supposed to be written.
It always amuses me when I summon an Earthbound Immortal and my opponent then tries to run it over in battle only to discover it can't even be attacked.
You know, it's funny you bring up throwing:
1) I think that might have been what was happening with that Golden Castle clip.
I used to love overlaying 2 level 4 monsters for a Zoodiac Broadbull and adding a Beast-Warrior from my deck to my hand. It's g e n e r i c 😂
The number of of games I have won and lost because neither my opponent or myself can read that Lord of The Heavenly Prison protects ALL set cards is far more than it should be
Irrc mirrorjade can out unaffected by monster effect because the destroy is not the monster effect, its the activation of the linger effect.
Mirrorjade is also a good one.
Yes, the End-Phase pop also triggers, if its banished. No, it is not an activated effect.
Nouvelles
The amount of times an opponent has attacked into an entire climb from Buerillabasse until they had no more monsters to attack with is just hilarious.
Suprised Herald of the arc light's banish effect wasn't mentioned. It's the type of effect I would always forget and sometimes I would activate droplets and would be like: why game bugged? I can't send monsters... Famous card in the Halq era ofc but since then hasn't really seen any play.
The amount of times people have tried to stop my madolche promenade from negating by moving the targeted bounce is simply unbelievable.
The amount of times I've seen monster effects thrown at the Paleo XYZ monsters is criminal.
This was on Master Duel BTW.
(This could be mitigated with a card like Barrel Behind the Door, so your opponent takes the damage instead.)
As for the chosen number you choose Plus cards opponent owns, the number could be anywhere between 7, (a 1 star) +1 for monster on field... all the way to 90 (for a level 13 monsters + 12 cards on field) so if keeping track of your graveyard and if your opponent has the necessary monster and cards on the field that matches the chosen number X the chosen monster + cards on field (too complicated in my opinion) if all that matches with the cards in your graveyard, you can further add to the cards in your graveyard while forcing your opponent to shuffle their cards.
While that isn't too bad of an effect especially if your deck relies on cards in graveyard.
-
I would say the other effect is much easier to pull off, call it wrong and call 6 all the time, and use Barrel Behind the Door.
I just learned so many card mechanics and counters from this one video, and I thought I knew a decent amount.
It's funny to see people's reactions to Subterror Final Battle. Most people just seem to stop reading it by the fourth effect and are shocked that they can't negate my subterror monster's activated effects. Bonus points if it's a floodgate like Skill Drain.
FLOWER CARDIANS!!!
Blackwinged assault dragon
the amount of times I’ve won duels because they have less then 700 life points use a monster effect they explode then I win and start laughing is more then 1
Sometimes I wish the timer was just a bit longer during duels just so I can use the extra time to read cards out loud to myself so I don't get tricked by wacky instances like this.
Sky Striker Ace Kagari: 1st the on-summon, 2nd the atk manip, *3rd the summon restriction*
Sky Striker Ace Shizuku: 1st the atk manip, 2nd the end phase search, *3rd the summon restriction*
Sky Striker Ace Hayate: *1st the summon restriction* 2nd the direct attack, 3rd the on-attack
Sky Striker Ace Kaina: 1st the on-summon, 2nd the LP gain, *3rd the summon restriction*
wtf hayate, you were the third one to come out x(
Also Anjelly and Puddingcess are the only Madolche out of 13 to have the destruction grave shuffle NOT in first :)
A few years ago for duel links I just played gren maju Stromberg decks, 99% of people would try to attack and Stromberg would just go off and they would end up damaging themselves or killing themselves. I blame it on the amount of text and people just not wanting to read lmao
I agree with the formatting point, why can't they just consistently write out the effects in some order and stick to it?
For some reason marincess. My best friend always played it but I don’t know a single effect except wave or the link 4
7:01, Heavy Interlock is what Rebirth of Nephthys should have been like.
Black feather whirlwind. I've legit seen so many people try to pop my cards when I have tokens on field. Seriously dude, I have a continuous spell, the game is not just big scary dragon bird that bites my ass everytime I use a monster attack, read the virtual cardboard.
I like playing spirits casually
Tsumaha-Kutsunagi is great for people not realizing that it ruins most people's plans hard. They think "Oh another spirit, itll just go away at the end of the turn"
yes. it will. and so will all your cards.
The number of times people have tried to affect one of my unaffected Raidraptor towers is staggering.
