- The first MAJOR build on the channel to claim the hype train for being viable for ALL content with EASE of use, was of course the ever famous, "Easy Sorc". It was "DESIGNED" (yes read that word "designed") with a purpose. The Purpose was to provide a viable option for DPS that was EASY for ALL content no matter who used it (new or advanced players) but also covered the other important variables that make up the build's survival, sustainability and manoeuvrability without sacrificing too much of anything else. In essence a TABOO in gaming, "BALANCE!".
6 Years later the Easy Sorc is still one of the most popular builds in the WORLD (fact, look it up). Then Oakensoul happened...
A ring, with SO many buffs on it, BUT with the side effect of "you can only have one bar", so you are limited to 5x skills and an ultimate. How do you close that gap? HOW do you make those important sacrificial decisions to decide what to use and what not to use when you have so many options in the first place?
Well, we nailed it! Not only WAS the Easy Sorc (formally known as the Easy Mode Sorcerer) already successful, but it STILL had room for adaptation and improvement so that MORE players could benefit from it's simplicity and capability!
This is officially the ONE bar variant of THAT build, and is now known quite literally as the EASIEST one bar build in the world to USE.
NOTE: I didn't say highest dps, tankiest character, biggest heals, i said "EASIEST" and it 100% is.
All you need to maintain, is one buff, one skill, and a constant heavy attack! Everything else about the build has built in survival, sustainability, single target and aoe damage, on TAP! You have to do literally nothing in order to perform.
No complex rotations, no micro managing, no bar swapping, no difficult to get gear, it's ALL there!
This has been designed so intricately that literally everything you will ever need is done for you, but the application of it is almost dumb. It is so simple a 3 year old could do it!
WHY make things so simple? Well first of all WHY make it DIFFICULT when you don't need to? Making problems isn't a smart way to play is it? And secondly because i KNOW what the playerbase is capable of.
I know where the ceiling is, i know where the floor is, and regardless of what people assume in their NSFW discord channels is "average", in fact the "average" is the floor. Either LOW dps OR dead. I needed to fix BOTH of those problems..
SO, i came to realise a long time ago that the problem was not that people cannot do damage. The problem is they cannot do damage AND follow mechanics at the same time!
They look great on the dummy but in content they are a carpet because too much is going on and they cannot focus on all the flashing lights. OR perhaps it goes personally further than that. Some people cannot do dps because they are focusing so much on mechanics and they are not fully physically able to press lots of buttons in a special sequence in order to perform. Yes, MOBILITY! Many players have mobility issues.
So, i have designed a build that is so simple and loaded with everything you need, that if you are lesser skilled, have a hard time taking in lots of information, have mobility issues, or just want something EASY to play, it is 100% capable of every single piece of content in the entire game...IF any of the above is what you have been looking for...THIS IS FOR YOU!!
Don't worry about people sitting there trying to force feed you the "that's not viable" crap, we all know those same people 1) don't know how to use that word properly, and 2) have been using this stuff anyway despite their efforts to stop you (That's a fact by the way, check the internet).
This game is for YOU to play YOUR own way. And if you cannot figure out what that is, this is a good place to start. It opens up ALL content and ALL difficulties for you with an extremely simple and effective build.
THIS will give YOU time to see what the hell is going on inside mechanics and allow you to perform flawlessly damage wise at the same time! Quite literally WIN WIN!
So if you want to get ANYTHING in the game done, without cutting off your nose to spite your face, and you are looking for something manageable and capable at the same time rather than spending WEEKS on a dummy with no avail, check out the build! You will NOT be disappointed!!!
Don't sit the on the dummy all day, you don't need the practice for putting down a wall and heavy attacking. Just go and get shit done!

Absolutely love this build. I made one little change which was putting lightning flood in place of mages wrath cause I'm too lazy to worry about execute and MOAR LIGHTNING! I do want to try this build out with a medium set like Storm Master with 1 light 1 heavy just slow going getting the full Storm Master set.
Soloed my first dungeon with this build and Isobel the Tank. Wasn’t even that tough. Stupidly effective damage. Thank you!

Very much so. I do around 92k on the trial dummy with it on console. For an entry level build its amazing. On a real dungeon or trial you damage goes up. So yeah its both viable and relevant

Love this build. I usually swap wrath and ward for tount and elemental drain and que vet pledges as tank.. Tanked 1st two bosses in VAA and 1st boss in VHR without any problem (tanks was really bad, public group). Crazy how good build is for any content. Using similar build on NB, even more dps, almost same but no burst heal like crit serge from sorcer. And no stupid pet, I hate that flying rat
It’s definitely super tanky but you could add the Xynode B.O.B.B.Y build to your armory. 😊

Before I moved back stateside I’d literally get 300++ latency in singapore. Lightweaving while possible is very inconsistent and will get you killed on some tight builds.
Florida's Got that 180 ms ping Between 120 abd 180ms all day long
I'm a new player, just finished Cadwell's Silver and Gold not sure what my Mages' Guild level is, (will have to check). Getting stomped in dungeons. Going to respec my skills(i have a token to do this). This all looks great, i appreciate all the work you put into this.
They don't need to nerf the ultimate. You have to find all those fucking books to get it, it better be worth it.
Mage guild quest is faster and less painful lol

How would light Order’s Wrath fit into the mix? Still worse than Aether?
Is the Sergeant thing where you get the stack before finishing the heavy attack even a bug? The tooltip doesn't say anything about a fully charged heavy attack unlike Infallible Aether which does mention a fully charged heavy attack.
been enjoying the easy sorc for a few years now and even more since the one ring was introduced, iv noticed on quite a few 1 bar heavy attack builds using lightning staff the enchants are usually shock or poison or on rare occasions flams but nobody seems to use the berserker enchant anymore is there a reason for this? i woulda thought that a 5 second weapon and spell damage buff would be better than a single hit on a single target every 5 seconds or am i missing something?
Not for sure but perhaps because you get the berserk out of the OS

Hey can i use Aether ring of Strategy (gold) or ring of the infallible Aether (purple) in this build. If so than what do i have to change and replace?
Just curious. Why don’t heavy attack builds use overload? Does empower and sgt mail and other heavy attack buffs effect overload?

I run all my tests on the 3M dummy, noble duelist outperforms storm master almost every time. Plus I hear the storm master buff is going all the way down to 5 seconds from 20.
I could be wrong but last I heard they're going to nerf it to monsters only

May I recommend Noble Duelist in lieu of Aether for those who don't do trials. It outperforms Storm Master and I've put both through VMa and VVa.
I don't know why people pump anything other than Noble Duelist... except that many are afraid of getting inside, or many fights are terrible for dps that need to get inside. In those fights, yes, run something else, but otherwise, put your girl panties on and run Noble Duelist.
Can a 1 bar heavy attack build actually keep up with the 2 bar HA build, purely from a DPS standpoint? Or does a 2 bar build, if played properly, do more damage after all? And how big is the difference in damage?
A 2 bar will always do more dps but one bar builds can still do 99% of content

Lmao I’ve been playing since beta and I couldn’t break over 65k dps.
Average dps has gotta be 10k-15k based on my years of pugging.
I hit 75k dps on this build with a few tweaks.
I really hope ZoS stick with making high dps attainable for everyone.

Agreed. I try n empathize with the "elite" yr talking about reasoning this game and "must link parse/clear" is probably their main experience at feeling exceptional and/or popular in life which is kinda sad. Sad only cuz the "elites" yr talking about clearly arent vibing the pay it forward the more the merrier kinda thing. At the end of the day i wish them happiness

What tweaks did u do to hit that much, i am curious too. Finally got oaken and want to make it my daily toon
@@psychoshikhar idk what to tweak but keeping track of your CP, armor type, mundus, skill & attribute points, etc will help you tons. I went from like 15-30 k to an easy 50-70k just watching how I built my toon and lined things up. You'll get there no problem. CP is kinda major but you can build toons to push exp and get there faster but it won't be over night.

How does noble duelist compare to aether?
Obviously will need testing, but I am nervous about this build with update 39. I really hope the staff changes don’t go through or are seriously modified during the PTS cycle.

Do you have any advice for someone starting over, 100%?
My PS4 died, and I lost all dlc, all sets, etc, and I decided to start over on Xbox and I'm feeling really overwhelmed. I have no characters or sets, or cp so I hit like a wet noodle 😂
I don't even know where to start. Any suggestions ?
If you want to get back to where you were (not enjoy early game), I'd get to cp160 as quickly as possible (grind dolmens, do daily random dungeons, get skyshards, etc). Until you do that, very little point in grinding for sets. As far as dlc goes, you don't need any dlc to get a descent build (depending on the build, some dlc sets are really good, but there are lots of free substitutes that are still really good).
what about Noble Duelist's Silks as a gear option?

Training my Guild around so much of the content I may be a noob but I am far from Ignorant and Innocent More Like an ubernoob with an Army of Peasants and prisoners because in my guild everyone starts off as a Prisoner and becomes a Peasant! After many milestones I can now safely destroy 3 enemy players while they try to gank me and Im not equipped with the gear yet! From level 26 to 41 pvp battlegrounds is me slapp g 1v3s all day unless a fourth player approaches then I just pop my second bar and run with Dampen
Magic stacked with Bound Aegis and Hardened Ward as well as crit surge absolutely insane when running full Light armor and just gives me about 134% Of Health just on my Ward when I add defensive rune to the equasion (60 seconds of defensive rune of an instant unblockable stun) I can escape whole enemy teams after a bit of practice of course with a relic. Love this build but I learned of this as a first build and had to work hard to level up many of the skill tress to even gain access to the skills. You single handedly made me a beast of a player even as a noob love having some new friends that can train me into a better player but ty you are the real sensei here! Wondering why you didn't mention Dampen Magic bit after seeing most of the video I understand and Im glad I didnt ask that one Ring will change everything about the sorc build that is by far the viggest difference from my build to this one aside from the crit stats. But Im working hard to get the gear at least purple gear to start off.
Confused why you dont use direct damage cp or off balance cp?
How are you dumping the dummies with 99% health still on them?
I switched from 2bar to one bar heavy attack and my dps jumped from avg 20k to 40k and i still am far from optimal gear. Had to farm oakensoul though. But it's a nice change

How does this build hold up with the nerf to oakensoul and heavy attacks/empower?
Doesn't affect it.
99.999999999999999% of situations you won't notice it The only thing you will notice is minor number differences on the dummy which again, is MINIMAL.
We were using empower for the easy sorc when it was 40%. Being 70% now instead of 80% is literally nothing. It's only 10% reduction to that bonus not 10% dps loss overall.
You at MOST are looking at about 2-3% You won't notice it in content at all.
Bare in mind also if you had 80% and didnt crit but had 70% and DID crit, you did more with the reduction than you did with the higher amount...
Basically you are flipping a coin with crits. 99.9% of the time you won't see a difference. :)

I tested both Moon Acolyte and Order's Wrath and honestly found that they perform similarly... I'm quite a new player, so I may be overlooking something, tho

bastian for the 15% dmg buff to light and heavy attack, with full set of cooldown reducing gear on him works quite nicely.

For PvP absolutely it’s best in slot.
Minor slayer is also redundant with oakensoul..so im not sure
You're not using infallible aether for minor slayer, your using it for 5 piece bonus (better heavy attacks). While there might be some overlap, infallible aether is one of best sets for heavy attacks, which is why we use it.

No, it is not, and just use 2 pets elemental blockade and prey with either ele sus / crit surge or the shield, imho
It definitely is. Xy addressed the oakensoul changes in a video. You just have to use your damage shields.

Yes two options take the ring off for that 1 fight mechanic or group can stack shields and heals and survive it that's the change that was done. You absolutely can use it but group needs to stack shields and heals, barring that I have ran to the outer edge with overload to avoid the group

just farm the wayrest sewers 1 (easy to solo) i ran it both on normal and veteran. opening chests and the big bosses gave me the drops i needed. took me a long time to get the lightning staff lol

What about Volatile familiar? Isnt the stun useful?
it is but there are situations it really isnt, the stun is great for solo but if you are in a trial or vet HM dungeon the familiar actually becomes a hinderance imo, the 4th pulse stuns, as yu know, which means the tank can not taunt or pull the enemies affected into a stack, and they seem to chase random people when they come out of stun. so use the matriarch and leave the familiar off imo and replace it with dearic prey or a ranged interupt

How lazy is Xynode's Lazy Sorc Build? Well, after I finished setting it ESO show me a "YOU WIN!" congratulations screen, then the end credits and finally closed and uninstalled itself.
So much information but missing all glyph info with the names and what not I wish you put them in more detail as like the names of each glyph not just what is does
If only there was a written guide on the website that spelled that out in an easy-to-read table.

Champions points are so slow. It will take a year just to get enough to fill the assigned slots.
And sadly, I still suck too much to get through VMA with it
The problem with this build for soloing vet dungeons for example is the terrible penetration, so I recommend elemental susceptibility over mages wrath, do not need a execute
Xynode is mainly a endgame 12 man group builds i agree 4 man doesnt need an execute but thats why he has mages wrath instead.
@Chelsea Stokar Is mages wrath considered an execute? I thought it was. And what about soloing, wouldn't a pen debuff be necessary without using lovers mundus. Need to maintain good crit for the self heals from surge. That's why I'm using thief mundus. And my race is Dark Elf, don't matter too much but does give me some extra spell damage/wep.

Weapon, two jewelry, and chest are Seargents. Other ring is Oakensoul. That only leaves five more slots, all on the body, which are Infal. Which he does mention, BTW.
the shadow makes more critics it helps the critical cure, because the thief is better, regards

If you feel you need more pen, you can always use the Lover mundus and sharpened trait. However, your crit chance will go down, meaning your head will go down.
I don’t mess with the build except in vMA and vVH, where I change the mundus but leave the trait alone. Even then, I’ll often forget to change the mundus and I barely notice it, so the pen as it sits quite honestly is perfectly fine.
Can someone explain how he has the Sargent 5 set bonus when he only has 4 items

They have done for 4 years. Something else is wrong with your setup, OR you are on the wrong bar.
It only counts while on the bar that is holding it.

I PROMISE you, if you have the chest, two jewelry, and staff as Sergeant's Mail, you WILL have all 5 pieces. Staves and other 2-handed weapons have counted as two pieces since Summerset. If you don't see that you have all five pieces, you ARE missing something.

I found my 1 bar warden to be easier for Vateshran and Maelstrom. That bear is a single target champ.
274k in vateshran and 550k in maelstrom. Need to run again, I found I can bypass many of the mechanics for the final boss in vateshran

Depends on what you mean.
I do around 2-3k less than I would if I was a high elf BUT I have higher resistances (read: survivability) and sustain…although in most circumstances sustain isn’t an issue in this build unless you find yourself in a situation where you need to spam shields without being able to heavy attack (like in vCR during “barswap” mech).
Of course, 2-3k isn’t anything to write home about, so in real terms - yes. Just as good.
I use this build as a Breton and get nearly the exact same numbers as Xynode. I'm even using the crafted acolyte of the moon set. cant get infallible hood anymore, cant find anyone to run crag trials
It's not broken its nessasery because getting sed ultimate is a pain in the ass 😂
