When this first came out i had struggled to get the no death in vMA. I could always get close but this build instant no death and continue to no death every run.

Hey XY, just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work on putting builds together. I just ran this build through Vet Vat Hollows and this is the DpS build I have used to complete it. I am normally a tank man. lol I know people like to say this will not work or that build is trash..... Forget them you keep doing what you are doing. Builds like this and your others make it easy for people to really enjoy and do content... Which is what you build for.

I love this build and it works great, I use a version of this for everything. The only thing that I change, even on an Oakensorc, is the Bound Aegis I throw on the back bar and still get the Minor Protection and Minor Resolve without even using that bar because of the change to just having it on either bar like the tooltip says in the video. I free up another skill to use like Daedric Tomb or Ele Sus in IA. Great accessible build though.

Pet AI is stupid, as is companion AI, playing with any pets in this game sucks. and sorc pets are super ugly

@@lamashtu3449Well heavy is still fine for most content. Just in trials you might need more dps. Otherwise you can for sure run with more heavy for more sustain
Great vid as usual. Been running a HA sorc for so long. Im a solo/pugger. I run ele sus, wall (constant off balance), matriach, surg and aegis. It seems made for endless archive. What a blast. PS testing on trial dummy v normal makes a big difference. A lot of builds only use trial dummy. No good outside a trial. Cheers.
Honestly too much of the guides are focused on that damned static dummie. most people cant pull near the numbers on actual content.

Good stuff, I run my 1 Bar Sorc for any casual dungeons and solo encounters, overland farming, etc. Its very easy and comfortable, still got my meta setups for when needed but otherwise this build doesnt come off Haha
Why change it? I got VSS clear, VMA clear, VSE clear (just to name a few) all on a lazy sorc. It can do ANY content.
@@13MHanks i have years of meta gear and such so hate to see it wasted haha. Also the 1Bar is not the best you can do, i enjoy the challange of competitive gameplay come time and place. But not trying to sweat while farming casually
@Trabsol I do really well in bgs on my lazy sorc, but I get switching it up for pvp.
@@feralomen That’s a fair point. I just don’t believe there’s a thing called meta in eso, because it seems wasteful that the devs would put so many sets in the game, but I digress. I like the fact it works, it can do any content you throw it in, and excels in that content. But keep in mind this is coming from someone who doesn’t endlessly hit the dummy. I want to log in and play content. Nothing against those who wanna do that, but to me if I can’t hit 120k in actual content due to having to do mechanics, I don’t see the point in going for that on the dummy.
For noobs (like me) i found using destructive clench (shock clench) helped alot with aoe damage pre 50 dungeons since trash dies before you can even channel heavies/wall of storms last too long
I have a question to the deadric mines compared to the trap beast from warriors guild. would you still chose the daedric mines and if so why? whats the benefit over beast trap? And is it still viable for U40? thanks!

Hello, thanks for the video, I have a question (I'm new to eso builds). If I use "The Maelstrom's Lightning Staff" to boost "Unstable Wall of Elements" and instead of the "Slimecraw" part of the set I wear "Sergeant's Mail Set" (to make it work) will it increase my dps? 🤔Will it be useful at all? Anyway, thanks in advance.

Hmm...whats the reason for Stamina and Magicka back? 36:47 I didnt run both of them and you never can run out of Ressources without that.

Can confirm this build is easy to use and OP af for a lazy player like myself. Managed to do Malestrom Arena vet no death run, Vateshran Vet no death and can even solo 2 of the Heralds on Apocrypha and solo Nymic bastion very easy. Also I believe it was one of Xynode's youtube vids that got me into ESO so thanks for that, needed to escape from that World of Warcraft prison :D
Also try it on a Harrowstorm solo… assuming nobody around. Easier in Blackreach.
@@glenndhorallmyxlvntx9294 yea those too, basically every overland boss is ez mode. Also if u wanna destroy some dragons in Elsweyr just take Strategic resource trait and all gucci, u gonna have ~2.5k HP regen, it's really nutz.

Just got my oakensoul ring the other day and started grinding the Sergeant gear. Want to let everyone know that the reward for the Wayrest Sewers II dungeon quest is a Sergeant Chestplate. Quite a nice surprise!
Id like to take this idea over to Templar, which gets a couple innate passive buffs that may help similarly how sorc passive boosts electric dmg. It probably wouldnt hit the same numbers tho.
EZ mode lightning staff was designed for sorcs.
I have a one bar Temp that rocks. I don't parse on dummies, but I can say live play the damage output is close.

I watched your video because i was struggling to get a decent amount of dps. After trying this build, omg it changed my game completely. One note though i made a slight change of one skill. I use Crystal Shards. After Sargents has proc'd you have a chance of firing a free shard. My button for this changes colour so i know it is ready and add to the rotation. I am finding this so much fun, and i have you to thank for it. Keep up the good work.
If you use crystal frag then use the addon that blocks off the normal skill and only lets you fire the procced ones
Hey, that ancient knowledge passive: would that stack with deadly strikes gear?
12% on passive, 15% on the gear to channeled abilities?
Works well on my Templar but my temp doesn't have the ancient knowledge passive lol i wish he did 😂

I haven't seen anything yet... Are there going to be significant changes to Lazy Bones? I'm sure that's going to get a revisit sometime soon... I use it on an armory build on my healer. Sorcerer never appealed to me.

One thing - wall of elements and both morphs say "magic" damage, not "shock" damage. That looks like it would be a problem for me?
I explained this in the video. It does whatever damage your STAFF does. In this case, Lightning.
What about shadow mundus ? At 60% maybe it will be smart ?
I haven't heard you mention of the StormMaster set in a while, I thought it was superior to Order's Wrath for Heavy Attack builds. Has it been nerfed so bad that it's out of consideration for high damage builds?

It never was. On dummy it could be used to cheese dummy numbers but in content it was crap. It only procs on a gamble of IF you crit on the final pop of your heavy, 9/10 it doesn't proc. Yes it was slightly altered with a different cooldown type
so us a light armor majority for solo?

staff is two pieces since it's a two handed weapon

Hi I dont have two skills available form this build Daedric Tomb - I can slot Daedric Mines untill I skill up but more importantly I dont have the ultimate Shooting Star Should I slot any other mages guild abilit untill I level up this skill line? Or just use Elemental Rage IV ? I would apreceate feedback :)
mages guild can only be leveled by collecting lorebooks
I have this build maxed out and I’m a dark elf. Is it beneficial to run vamp or should I just leave vamp out?
No need for vamp, I can't think of a single benefit for this build. You don't need undeath, crit surge with your Shield is fantastic survivability
On your website it only say 4 piece sergeant but in the video you have 5 pieces on??? A ring, necklace, chest and weapon. But what is the 5th?

So, to the best of my knowledge I’ve followed the build to the T.
I can only get around 30k with my food.
So I’m missing 5k.
Any ideas of what I might of missed.

I have a question, How are you getting a 5 piece bonus from only equipping 4 pieces? I only see 5 Sergeants on there
i noticed that as well. Thought I was going crazy for minute. Apparently, the staff counts as 2 pieces since its 2 handed.
What about Storm master is that no longer good?
storm master isn't bad only probably like 2k less dps with storm than order
if you replace orders wrath with noble dualist would that make it more effective or less effective
I think it would make it stronger, but only if you time its cooldown with when you are recasting things like the wall or the mines. Basically put out 12 seconds worth of super high damage heavy attacks, then spend 2-3 seconds casting other abilities, then the set will be ready to proc again with more heavy attacks. It would make the build a fair bit more complicated (which doesn't seem to be the intent of this build video). If you are like me and you just want a fun lightning focused alternative to the Pet Sorcerer, Noble Duelist and learning to time that 3 second downtime window could be a cool mechanic to master. I think I'm going to use that method.
sorry but im very confused because the sergants mail u had on staff chest neck and ring but where was the 5th piece? because all the rest was orders wrath? edit: its the same with orders wrath… how have u only got 4 piece of armour but getting all the effects from 5 piece set

not very well, lower DPS than with the storm master even after the nerf

Isn't better entropy than critical surge? If u used oaken soul ring?
Critical Surge in this build is used purely for its survival capability. I personally think having both Crit Surge and the Damage Shield on a one bar build is very overkill in terms of survivability.
What about Knight Slayer and Noble Duelist? Are they also good in Update 39?
Knight Slayer can’t crit, I find it’s not so good for pve, I really like it on HA builds for pvp.
Noble Dualist needs to be in melee range to proc, it’s still good, I use it on my pve HA Templar build because I jab’s after every heavy attack and for that to hit need to be in melee range anyway.
@@Ai_Caramba Oh! You are right! I just noticed that Noble Duelist sets are for melee lol. I'm gonna use this build with my Magden, so I will try Order's Wrath first.

Couldn't you just go with the Orders Wrath crafted lightning staff and replace another piece of armor with Sergeants? I ask as I can't get the damn staff to drop from the sewers...

How do you get 60-70k? Im running this build and on my training skleton I get 32k dps with meteor when its ready and wall of elements after every heavy. What am I doing wrong?
Using the skeleton dummy. You need to use the trial atronarch (21m) for the buffs and a realistic dps result
The skeleton dummy gives you an idea of how you'll do againt basic enemies
I run this with a few changes and I hit about 70-90k dps in groups or trials
Is Deadly strike better to use then Orders wrath?
Yes. Use Deadly and Sergent.
Not even an honorable mention for Noble duelist? Honestly I think it is the best choice. I also like to run exploiter and power overload. Off-balance with power overload is a face melter, over 130 k crit on the dummy 100K hits in content solo, sometimes, depending on the mob
This is what i use i only got ~35k-40k solo im only cp380 tho im missing 2 divine trait and and 3 piece of purple gear still purple
probably cause its melee range and this is a ranged build.

Did they change something in the latest update? I am hitting 30K with this build. golded the weapon but not the gear, so I'm not completely maxed out but pretty close. 800+cp, so not all passives yet either.
Make sure you have everything maxed out for max DPS.
So is orders wrath better than storm master now?
For most content you'll probably like Orders Wrath more since it's 100% uptime compared to Storm Master which has a cool down. Storm is still slightly stronger especially if you're in more stationary fights but if you don't have it you can just craft Orders Wrath saving yourself transmute stones.
I canot bring myself to grind the oakensoul, is there another version viable without it
It doesnt even take that long i got scrying to 7 in 2 days and got all leads in one day
Oakensoul is easy to farm,i hate farming too but got it in 2 hours
I’m know I’m late to this conversation but are you saying that you recommend Sergeant and Infallible? And if you can’t get Infallible to use Orders? And is that for all content or just trials?
