At that point should have just did the fut .strip .Need to overcome your fear and go for it .Trust these drs .these two know what there doing .I know this 1st hand. Both drs worked on me .Had fut strip procedure both times .Feller about 15 yrs ago and bloxham this past September..both did an excellent job ..
Out of interest how much of an issue is it getting a strip after an FUE has been done like say with this example of 2,500 grafts how much has that reduced the amount you can now get from a strip can you still get a large number of grafts out of this guys donor if needed? Thanks and great video
Hi Ben, It depends on how aggressive the FUE harvest was. I would typically say it reduces the density of the strip by anywhere between 30 - 50% on average (as most places who perform large FUE sessions in one sitting seem to feel "comfortable" taking 30-50% of the safe donor in one shot). This means that a strip which would have yielded let's say 2,500 grafts (our average FUT) will now yield 1,250 - 1,750 grafts. Now, this is typically still very worth it. These grafts usually grow much better and a strip creates much less damage in the donor. However, it's not quite as efficient as starting with FUT from the get-go. -- Dr Bloxham
I bet my life on the fact he went to Bosley...im so glad i didnt go to them. i got cancelled twice by them and looking back, im so glad that happened. I got FUT done and hope my results will be good.
Bosley is so bad dude, I got cancelled by another place in NYC and now looking at the results as compared to Dr. Bloxham and Feller, I'm soooo happy they cancelled lol.
@@Silented1234 How far along are you in the transplant process, like how many months has it been since you had yours? I have mine coming up soon. Is your hair growing in well?
@@spencer2887 it’ll be the year mark in October. Yea overall I’d say it came in just fine. My hair is a little curly so that helps with the thickness. It’s not really really thick but it does the job. My hair is kinda thin and fine. But yea, I wear no hats anymore lol
I had SMP done 6 weeks after an FUE hair transplant in the same area. It is now 7 months post hair transplant and I don't see any new hair growth in the transplanted area. Did I potentially damage my newly transplanted grafts and will I lose the potential results because of this?? My surgeon said it would be fine because one was superficial and one wasn't...
There’s only a small section in the middle of your head where beard grafts would work is my understanding. You can’t put them in the crown, temple points, or hairline.
Is there an update on this guy? Love the videos Dr Bloxham!!!

Did they start growing eventually?
What the fuck this is crazy, why would you do that?
hell yeah you f'd that up! it takes 3-6 months as its in infancy stage to barely start coming out!!!!

Sorry, I’m new to this, why were you unable to do FUE? His skin was too stretchy?
His hair is very thin and not much density to begin with. All of these amazing before and after photos are with guys with dense, thick black hair.
Oof
Fue is fine, this is just bad work from the clinic
Not for this guy hair too fine
