A lot of people asking why do triple A lose to a triple J. So let me make this clear. Maybe some of you think its Triple A vs Triple J, but its actually Triple A vs Full House
These pots were humongous in their time. Which is strange to say given it wasn't even that long ago haha. We've been decencitized to massive poker pots with the size of the games available everywhere these days.
It's true that one shouldn't have to come to the comments to figure it out, but I don't think it's too embarrassing to overlook it while seeing multiple hands. The thing that makes pairs on the board confusing is that they often don't impact the board at all, or impact every hand equally, so you can often disregard them once you have anything better than 2 pair. It's only for the Full House that you have to take them into consideration again, and that's fairly rare.
@@KCTyran yes bro, un this case. Not AJ, way to unlikely. More likely is Ax with Ivey only needing to fade one of the Ax’s, he’s going to be pretty confident knowing that the x won’t hit. He can rule out AQ then since odds of hitting it is reduced. Antonius is thinking full house of a worse Ax maybe even a strong J is playing this way.
Ivey is so fearless! If I played It this way I would think at the end I’m only ahead by 2 hands. AK and AT. Any other ace he’s either too far behind to call a huge bet or he has better full house already. But he read him so good!
He does an interview about this hand. He called because he and Ivey were playing a prop bet this game. If the flop had Black aces Ivey owed Patrick If the flop had red aces Patrick owed Ivey.
