Trying the SPICIEST Dish at MARK WIENS Restaurant in THAILAND 🇹🇭 Phed Mark

  • Today has me trying the spiciest dish at Mark Wiens restaurant, Phed Mark in Bangkok, Thailand. Phed Mark was started by world renowned UA-camr Mark Weins to showcase his favorite Thai dish, Pad Kra Pao. This was definitely the spiciest Pad Kra Pao (or any dish for that matter) I have ever tried. It literally made me cry! The level 5 spicy was almost too much for me to handle. Did I manage to finish it all, or did I throw in the towel? Watch me cry as I eat my way through this legendary Bangkok restaurant's signature dish. Gues how many bottles of water I went through?!
I recently moved to Thailand and am begining to roam the country while documenting my travels here on UA-cam. Join me for my assorted adventures in the many different regions of Thailand and beyond.

I will go try Phed Mark soon. I love their "dry" Pad Kaprao stir-fry. That's what a good Pad Kaprao is supposed to be. Most of street food places usually make if too "wet". The dry one tends to better enhance that charcoal smokiness from a super hot wok on a hyper high heat. I will definitely go try. Thanks for introducing the place to me!

Thks Serg again.... I missed the way you talk to us. Sorry that I found it so cute watching you developing the spice-burnt in your mouth and face. My apology really to see joy when you suffered. My apology indeed... but it worths trying, right??... So now, you experienced it. Next time, try spicy "Tom Yum" soup. OK? (^_^)
(^_^) Usually, for Thais, we have chillied dishes with hot clear soup (we call "Kang Juerd"). The combination of spicy dish and hot plain soup will help relieving your burning mouth, instead of having too much water drinking. Cos you will end up having water more than food in your stomach. Also, milk or curry dish with coconut milk, somehow, help blending the spice taste with others like sweet&sour etc. Thus Thai food is very world top cuisine.
Thks to show us PedMark. I am in Chiang Mai and will soon pay a visit when in BKK. Thks sir!
    Best!
BTW. You said the other way around... "Ped" is Spicy. "Mark" is very. But good try and we saw it cute and hope your stomuch is strongerly well by now! Ps. The "flying rabbit" is my friend parents' company, I will tell them you like their products! (^_^)
