Hey Serg, ( new subscriber here from Australia )so very brave of you to eat that spicy dish, I will be in Bangkok early October so will try this place but without the spicey :) and if I see you around I will say hello
Definitely go give it a try. And I definitely will never eat anything that spicy again, I just have to try it once. If you see me on the street somewhere, please do say hello.
I will go try Phed Mark soon. I love their "dry" Pad Kaprao stir-fry. That's what a good Pad Kaprao is supposed to be. Most of street food places usually make if too "wet". The dry one tends to better enhance that charcoal smokiness from a super hot wok on a hyper high heat. I will definitely go try. Thanks for introducing the place to me!

As a Thai just tried the very spicy version same as yours, it was indeed almost too spicy covering all the other tastes. I think medium spicy could be the best choice to enjoy this menu thoroughly

The combination of spicy dish and hot plain soup will help relieving your burning mouth, instead of having too much water drinking. Cos you will end up having water more than food in your stomach. Also, milk or curry dish with coconut milk, somehow, help blending the spice taste with others like sweet&sour etc. Thus Thai food is very world top cuisine. Thks to show us PedMark. Omg. Will never do that again. Actually went back and ate there for the first time since this video about three weeks ago. Got it super mild. The wait times are now about 45 minutes and honestly I just don’t think it’s really worth it for about ฿185. I can get similar quality with no weight for less than half the price elsewhere. The place is now overrun with certain tourists.
I think TOO SPICY can kill the taste of food. Reasonable spice is necessary with Thai food. Serg you took one for the team. I will try but keep it reasonable and enjoy the taste. LOVE MARK WEINS. Watch him every week
The only reason I looked that way, was because I got the absolute spiciest thing there. You can get his food completely non-spicy. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there. I’m just saying that where I live there are places that are just more convenient for me.
@@LifewithSerg i reccomend lop buri as i go every year to a monastery there they help rehabilitate people from as far as Alaska! The temple is beautiful and everyone is welcome there is around 100 plus monks who stay at the temple
You definitely see a lot more pork dishes than chicken in Thailand . I’m not even sure if I’ve ever seen chicken Pad Kra Pao. But I’ve only been here for a little over two months.
I think you should have a goal to build your tolerance to spicy food. You live in Thailand after all. The king of spicy! Lol. It would totally expand your food menu if you build that tolerance! Ill help ya ;-)
The fundamental element is - You shouldn't be so persistent in ordering "Spicy" Food when the Vendor is doing everything they can for you to reconsider!
after a Thai meal must be followed by dessert then drink water If you eat something very spicy, I recommend coconut milk ice cream, mango sticky rice. I guarantee that you will like to eat more spicy.
Oh Lord…I cringed when I noticed the chilis. Serg, you can’t die by spice man, we need more videos!!!😂 If you could still taste the pork through the spice it must have been great meat!!!
Why oh why Serg?? Just enjoy yourself and your food lol. No way I would do that. I only like spice to enhance the flavor not overpower it. The restaurant looks good and is a must to visit and the prices look great considering it is Mark Wiens. How were the stomach and reflux later? Cheers.

You said water made spiciness thing worse but I think soft drink made it even worse than water in my own experience😆 Based on so many bottle of water you drank while eating the pad kaprow, i think they can sell the dish at cheaper price and jack up the price on drinks and make lots of profit 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah the bottle of soda was definitely a bad idea. I actually ended up drinking four bottles of water total. The bottles of water were only 10 Baht each, I think they definitely could’ve doubled the price easily.
I don’t know if I got it to enjoy it for hours, but it definitely stayed with me for many hours. Let’s just say that it burned on the way out as well. It was just an experience I had to try, but I will never eat anything that’s spicy again. 🤣😁

I think TOO SPICY can kill the taste of food. Reasonable spice is necessary with Thai food. Serg you took one for the team. I will try but keep it reasonable and enjoy the taste. LOVE MARK WEINS. Watch him every week
Yes it was waaaaay too spicy for me. Will not try that level of spice again. Lol
That “flying rabbit” dose is one table spoon at a time 😂
Not for that dish! Lol 🤯😜
Awesome
It hurt so much. Loll
@@LifewithSerg I am Thai but not good at eating spicy food
I paid for that meal for about two more days afterwards. 555
6:15 I bet you've eaten there many many times since this first time!
I have actually not been back once. Lol. It was good, but I have other places closer to me that I enjoy more.
@@LifewithSerg I could already tell by the tone and look on your face in the video 😉
The only reason I looked that way, was because I got the absolute spiciest thing there. You can get his food completely non-spicy. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there. I’m just saying that where I live there are places that are just more convenient for me.
Really enjoying your content, but wished you uploaded more often
I’m working on getting 2-3 vids out a week. Just takes more time than most people realize. Im getting there. 😁
Anyway im loving the content its great recommendation to visit Lop Buri in the future
I definitely plan to take some trips in the next week or two. I’ve got a video coming out in about four hours so stay tuned!
@@LifewithSerg i reccomend lop buri as i go every year to a monastery there they help rehabilitate people from as far as Alaska! The temple is beautiful and everyone is welcome there is around 100 plus monks who stay at the temple
love love เผ็ดมาก
Thanks!
Wife and I both laughed! I can bear eating at a “3/5” spicy level - any higher, and I’m over it. Try Vodka to kill the burn.
This was very brutal! I will never intentionally eat anything the spicy again. Let’s just say it burned me twice. Lol
Curious why Chicken was not an option on the menu? Is Chicken not common in Thailand?
You definitely see a lot more pork dishes than chicken in Thailand . I’m not even sure if I’ve ever seen chicken Pad Kra Pao. But I’ve only been here for a little over two months.
I think you should have a goal to build your tolerance to spicy food. You live in Thailand after all. The king of spicy! Lol. It would totally expand your food menu if you build that tolerance! Ill help ya ;-)
Nope. Have had a sensitive stomach since I was a kid. I know how to ask for not spicy in Thai so I can eat it all. Lol
I've been there, but I had one of dishes with just small amount of chilli, I don't really like ducks eggs.
I liked the eggs, next time I will do no chilies. Lol
The fundamental element is - You shouldn't be so persistent in ordering "Spicy" Food when the Vendor is doing everything they can for you to reconsider!
Yes seriously. Lol
after a Thai meal must be followed by dessert then drink water If you eat something very spicy, I recommend coconut milk ice cream, mango sticky rice. I guarantee that you will like to eat more spicy.
No no. Never eating anything that spicy again. Lol. Was a one time thing.
Milk is the best thing to kill the heat when eating spicy food.
Unless you’re somewhat lactose intolerant like me. But yes, milk definitely would’ve helped.
Oh Lord…I cringed when I noticed the chilis. Serg, you can’t die by spice man, we need more videos!!!😂 If you could still taste the pork through the spice it must have been great meat!!!
This was rough. Lol. Waaaay to spicy for me. Need to go back and do a regular 2 chili one. Hopefully I won’t cry again. 😂
im thai and i am sweating watching you eat that much chilies lol
That was definitely too much for me! 555
Why oh why Serg?? Just enjoy yourself and your food lol. No way I would do that. I only like spice to enhance the flavor not overpower it. The restaurant looks good and is a must to visit and the prices look great considering it is Mark Wiens. How were the stomach and reflux later? Cheers.
I never eat anything this spicy. I just decided to try his signature dish. I had it this morning and this afternoon has been a little bit painful. The ingredients were top notch, and I’m looking forward to going back and having it very mild. I suffered for my art. LMFAO
You said water made spiciness thing worse but I think soft drink made it even worse than water in my own experience😆
Based on so many bottle of water you drank while eating the pad kaprow, i think they can sell the dish at cheaper price and jack up the price on drinks and make lots of profit 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah the bottle of soda was definitely a bad idea. I actually ended up drinking four bottles of water total. The bottles of water were only 10 Baht each, I think they definitely could’ve doubled the price easily.
Hi Serg! My wife I were walking on the BTS bridge today and we noticed you as you walked by! We were a little too "starstruck" to stop and say hi :)
Awwww man, I would’ve definitely stopped and chatted with you guys. If you ever see me in public, feel free to come up and say hello. 👋😁
That’s like walking into prison and starting a fight with the biggest inmate. Love pad krapao muu. At least you’ll get to enjoy it for hours 🥵
I don’t know if I got it to enjoy it for hours, but it definitely stayed with me for many hours. Let’s just say that it burned on the way out as well. It was just an experience I had to try, but I will never eat anything that’s spicy again. 🤣😁
LOL!!! Great analogy!
You are brave enough to eat this spicy but you made the right decision since you come to the land of spicy fo😢od.
This was the spiciest thing I have ever tried. I definitely paid the price for it later in the day. 🤣😭 I will have to go back and try one of his non-spicy dishes.
Poor Serg ;( I would never be brave enough to try foods as spicy as those...LOL
This was a once in a lifetime thing. I generally do not eat very spicy, but I definitely paid for it the rest of the day. Lol
Oh man, I would have left there on a stretcher after eating that.
I paid for it all day. Lol.
Phed=spicy Mak= very
Yes, I actually know that. I think eating that spicy food messed with my head. Lol
LIKE for you♡,from FC Bangkok,Thailand
Thank you so much for your support!
Almost every UA-camrs stop at Mark Wiens place. I definitely can’t do spicy food. I will end up suffer with stomachache.
Yes Sheila, I’ve spent all afternoon today with a pretty nasty stomach ache. 😁😭 I just have to try it once. The food was delicious, and I will trade with no spice next time.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏😁👋
VOLTRON!!!
Yes. Look closely, made of gym weights. 🤓
@@LifewithSerg Yes! Such a cool freaking shirt dude...one of my favorite cartoons as a kid.
🍛🌶🔥 wow Serg, you did well for someone that does not do spicy well, i had the same pork but #4 spice. only got 1/2 way and gave up.🤣. btw. didn't know that was a duck egg. amazing how they cook it with the edges having crunchy texture😋
I definitely paid for this all afternoon yesterday. It was the spiciest thing I’ve ever tried. I’m looking forward to going back and getting something at level one. Lol
For me it is hot but not spicy. The main ingredients mostly are varieties of peppers. The Phad krapao at Phedmark is heaty
It was extremely spicy for me. I’ve never eaten anything that spicy, and honestly, I will never do it again. It’s just too much for my sensitive stomach. Lol
My level at this shop is only 4.
I think my level should’ve been zero. Lol. I definitely went a little too far today. Ha ha.
Wow! The color hitting your face! Ouch!👍👍
Yeah, I spent all day yesterday in a bit of agony. That was the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten. I generally do not eat spicy.
Omg if you want more super spicy taste Why dont you try BULDAK SPICY NOODLE challenge 😀 you can find it at seven eleven marcket .
No no no! This was way too spicy for me I’m never doing this again. Lol
@@LifewithSerg 😆
Oh, no. I can’t as if I’m Thai. I can eat spicy food but not any🌶 directed to my mouth 555
It still hurts today. Lol
