Thai traditional healers use holy basil since ancient times. holy basil has medicinal properties to expel wind and sweat, reduce fever, prevent diabetes, lower blood sugar. In addition to being used as a medicine, it is also applied as a food for patients who do not want to take medicine and therefore use it for cooking instead.

For any Thai hot and spicy meals, you don't have to eat chili with every bite. Simply place them to the side of your dish to enjoy flavors other than the hot flavor alone.
Beware! The spicy is very addictive. Once you enjoy it, you can't live without it forever. Likes Mark's slogan on his t-shirt " Not Spicy, Not Eat ".
I am Thai and can eat spicy, but i usually order less spicy and add more chilly later. If you eat too spicy you will diarrhea and ass will feel hot when it go out. If chilly stays in stomach and intestine for a long time it will burn from inside. Hope you enjoy Thai food and safe.
This dish is unique because they took about a year to do research and invent their own version of padkapao. 👍👍

😂😂😂😂😂ชอบคุณทั้งสองคน นะ...อยากบอกว่า คนไทยกินเผ็ดเกือบทุกมื้อ..แต่จะกินพริกที่แตกต่างในแต่ละมื้อ..ตอนเช้า อาจเป็นร้านข้าวราดแกง แกงแดง แกงเขียว ผัดพริกแกง ฯ มื้อเที่ยง อาจก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำ หรือ ก๋วยเตี๋ยวธรรมดาแต่ปรุงรสเองตามใจชอบ หรือ มีส้มตำไทย ส้มตำปลาร้า อาหารอีสาน ทุกอย่างล้วนใส่พริกตามชอบ..ยังมีของกินเล่น อาทิ ลูกชิ้นปิ้ง ลูกชิ้นทอด ของกินแบบยำซีฟู้ด ล้วนมีน้ำจิ้มที่ผสมพริก แม้แต่รถขายผลไม้ข้างทาง ก็ยังมีเครื่องจิ้มผลไม้ที่มีรสเผ็ด..มื้อเย็น อาจจะไม่เผ็ดมาก แต่ก็ยังมีพริกเป็นส่วนผสม เช่น หอยทอด ราดหน้า ข้าวราดตามสั่ง แล้วกินกับ น้ำปลาพริกที่วางบนโต๊ะ...คนไทยกินเผ็ดทุกมื้อจริงๆนะ..😂😂😂😂..ยังมีอาหารปักษ์ใต้ หลายอย่างที่เผ็ดๆและอร่อย..อย่าง คั่วกลิ้ง แกงเหลือง ขนมจีนแกงป่า ฯ ขอให้คุณทั้งสองมีความสุขและสนุก สวัสดีปีใหม่นะครับ.

I can eat MarkWiens Level with add some chili fish sauce that's tasty. But most of Thai people the order level 3-4

If you want to reduce the spiciness of Pad Kra Pao, you can add a little lime fish sauce to it. Not only will it make Pad Kra Pao more tasty, it also helps you to have more tolerant of spicy foods.

Having watched some episodes of "First We Feast" - where hotness goes up to Scoville 1,000,000 in an interview session - one thing strikes me time and again. People have not done their homework. The host serves ice water and milk and in a few cases people brought, say, vegan milk. Nobody researched. The chemical substance that gives a pleasant sensation at lower concentration and hurts at high concentration binds to the tissue on the tongue and there are two things that can release it - in different ways: sugar and alcohol. The things served as relief or that people have brought don't work.
The second thing that strikes me is that some of the most fragile looking actresses are the most elegantly well behaved through 1,000,000 level while some manly men start to behave like crying toddlers and swearing as if in the hood.

I am Thai and I would not eat it if I see that chili mountain in your dish. Too much spicy is not good. You can’t taste anything else but the fire and you will hurt your bottom once you go to toilet. Too less chili is also not good. For me it will be bland. Just a little spicy make the food taste good.
