Man, I think a lot of people don't understand how hard it is to get all these shots by yourself. The time to setup camera, go back pick it up, hike, set it up again, drone shots all these take so much time. Great job to make it flow really well Hannah.
as a video and film maker I love the shots but can't help thinking the same, how many times you have to walk up or down a hill, set up. go back walk by and then go back to get camera and move on. Like walking the hill at least 3 times over.
I am Japanese. Thank you for taking beautiful picture and movies. Great Job!! I believe that Japan is the most safe country in the world. If you run in the mid night, there is few risk anywhere in Japan. And you also know this. But, be careful when climbing alone, you never know what kind of danger you might be in. There are bears, snakes, cliffs, and in rare cases, no cell phone reception. If you can, go with a friend.
Your videos continue to just get better and better, whether it’s capturing rare and epic drone moments, picking the exact right time to do certain hikes for the best views, or now getting even higher quality video from the a7s iii. I love mine, and I can’t wait to keep watching how you use yours. I’m so grateful that you’re here doing this. Thanks for your hard work, Hannah.
I love how every video you post has just the right amount of everything. This one was no exception From sights, walking, food, commentary (on all of the above) so much more and a sponsor shoutout that makes me want to support them. The cinematography (whatever it’s called) is just so breathtakingly good. Watching your content is always a highlight of my day.
You've been to so many beautiful places all in just one country. Just goes to show what you can see if you get out and explore your backyard. You have an eye for cinematography. Love the shot where you disappear into the backdrop of the mountains. As always, thank you for these vids.
You are truly gifted in your visual and your editing to piece your story together. You setup an engaging setting and flow. You the the extra time to place your camera to give your viewers a sense we the audience are the ones following you on your treks to interesting locations. You have an excellent eye for cinematography, there’s no choppiness to your edits or the visuals. Just a smooth flow from one scene to another. I can’t wait for your large scale production of a full length movie once you decide what it’ll be, I’ve been on many hikes, and this one reminded me of the one I was on with the Boy Scouts and we were dropped off at the wrong location. We had hike in a forest like the one you were in in this video for a long time for two days never getting to the location we were suppose to go to, but yet miraculously found the path to take us to our rides back home. We were fortunate enough to come across a large patch of snow, so we were able to refill our canteens. The trail were were on had ended with in a hundred feet from our drop off area, so we were on our own from then on. So forgive me if I had a bit of fear watching you on this solo hike you took. That hike was probably my first hike at the age of 12, but it didn’t deter me from going on others backpacking hikes. But with clearly marked trails to follow. I wonder how it would have been if we had the tech you have to record our misadventure of that hike. It was suppose to be an easy and leisurely walk in the park. So the foot wear was a pair of sneakers. What I came back with was the rubber soles and the laces and the parts that held the top to the bottom part of the sneakers and everything thing in between gone, wore out. My feet, come to think of it were fine. No blisters or cuts, just sore and tired. No one was prepared for that excursion. But I should be concern about your hikes, because your truly a seasoned and experienced traveler in any environment.
Amazing video 😃 I used to do a lots of solo hiking around north Nagano and loved every single time. During the hikes I used to do live streamings where people shared the experience. It was quite great
Hi Hannah, I have a couple of questions. Do you ever hear of there being bears or boars in areas that you hike? Is that something factor in when you choose where you'll go? Do you do anything different when there might be potentially dangerous wildlife? And have you had any encounters? I really enjoy watching your videos, especially the hikes are really relaxing. Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
WOW! Fantastic work with the new camera. You've continued to improve your work throughout and put in the work and time. Much thanks, that was thoroughly enjoyable.
Wow, Hannah! You genuinely have the best cinematic talent that I have seen on UA-cam. Thank you for inspiring me with these beautiful shots! You always pick the perfect music too. P.S. blonde looks great on you! *thumbs up*
Thanks for the video. It must be so quiet now in Japan with most tourists are staying home, esp places that are off the beaten path. Inspiring. I do miss solo traveling. So much freedom.
Your films are so inspiring, exciting and well made! The drone shots are brilliantly integrated into the story and together with the music they are some of the most epic travel and nature footage on UA-cam.
Another beautifully done video Hannah - thank you! The aerial shots coupled with the wonderful music are just out of this world! Your videos truly inspire me to go visit rural Japan as soon as this Covid crap is over. I can’t wait to go out into nature and feel free again as I’m sure you do! Merry Christmas to you too and I look forward to many more amazing videos by you in 2021.
I need to put this under every video. I LOVE YOUR CONTENT! It's holidays for the brain and so stress relieving. I need your videos during lockdown, they save me mentally. Thank you Hannah.
Unbelievable how quiet and still the forest was on your way up there. For some reason it gave me nostalgia, but I have no idea why. It just seemed so nice to look at!
Oh man... I know I have said this before, but these mountains are just so beautiful! And even though I just came in from a walk in my own local forest, I found those dreamy drone shots moving! So you put me in the perfect frame of mind to wish you a heartfelt merry Christmas too!
Stunning video! I used to go to Japan once a year and always try to get some hiking in, but haven't been back in a couple years. This is the next best thing! great choice of music too.
Each next shot is just her walking farther and farther from the camera. Can't imagine how hard it must be to set the camera up and do two way trips dozens of times. Respect
Thank you Hanna for all you hard work you put in to give us these beautiful views of Japan, I have enjoyed watching most of your videos in 2020. I look forward to 2021. MERRY CHRISTMAS
hey hannah thank you for the great video! it was uploaded just as i was about to go to bed. had a really bad day today and feeling quite shitty all around, but seeing the notifications and knowing i’ll have 13 minutes of calm and beautiful scenes and music just helped make things a little better. much love 💛💛💛
My body naturally slows down during winter, and it's been a surprisingly difficult task to accept and embrace this. Your videos brought me one step closer towards that goal and for that, I thank you.
I am Japanese living in Hong Kong. I love your solo hiking video which reminds me of the beauty of my home country and inspired me to make a solo hiking video featuring Hong Kong😊 これからも、たのしみにしています👍
The drone shots add a lot! Oh and I’m hoping to visit Japan in the near future... Tokyo Disneyland, some ansens, and a hike in the mountains are on my list! Adventure Archives did a hike where they overnighted at a “campground” with an ansen... loved that concept!
Whenever a new travel/hiking video pops up on my subscription feed, it gets my click reaaaally fast! Love the really relaxing vibes and the absolutely breathtaking shots in these videos. Amazing stuff once again, Hannah! :D And happy Christmas! 🎄
Finally...the next majestic hiking vlog has landed. Less is more I guess...but those cinematic sequences you’re putting together...just takes us all away. Merry Xmas to you too.🎄

awesome content. Beautifully done. Makes me miss Japan a ton. And it's great to see someone putting out content with this camera instead of just reviews and tests.

In a world gone mad, these videos are therapy. Pure and simple. Thank you.
