That's right, I'm back with my second Therewolf commission after Runaway Renegades, this time for a MU that needs no introduction. You _know_ why it exists. I figured I'd commission it since Therewolf hadn't done a MU for a joke/meme MU yet back when I first thought of it back in December of 2022... but I was already beaten to the punch via the likes of Attorneys at Flaw and Checkmate, so...
Anyway, if you're wondering what the reference tracks used here were, it's the What's New Scooby-Doo? theme song, Wii Sports title theme, and "Ultimate Battle" from Dragon Ball Super, though the latter was used more as the reference for the general vibe and wasn't overtly referenced in V1 of this track. We added it to V2 (AKA this current one available to listen to right now) since I felt like it was missing something, and its inclusion in the climax helped bring out the hype factor I felt was originally missing.
The track cover's a simple re-use of my last 2022 CAC, though I do still debate on whether or not I should've changed the title, even if it meant doing the title effects again. Oh well, it's too late for that now.
But yeah, hope you enjoy this track as much as I did!
I used to own a Wii, and a Wii sports game. So I naturally, used to play Wii sports, but I don't know who Matt Mii is. Can you explain please?

Meaning that I've never heard of ultra instinct shaggy until I watched that Multiversus trailer, and asked in the comment section word to word "WHEN DID SHAGGY GAINED POWERS ⁉️" out of my own knowledge of the Scooby Doo franchise in which the only person who had any form of consistent kung Fu training, is danger prone Daphne Blake, and even then she never pulled a Kamehamehadoken out of her purse. I've been calling Multiversus shaggy "Memeville Rogers" for a damn good reason😑

Shaggy Rogers vs Matt
Two characters memed for their power, but do they hold up?
I guess we’ll see
(Composite, no crossover feats. So no Multiversus or Smash Bros, I’ll do that later)
Shaggy Rogers
Strength: Can easily run through walls, and survive a fireball able to level a small hut, making him at least Wall level, with Wall+ dura, higher with his variety of equipment, like mechs.
Speed: Able to outrun a great dane, which can run at 13.4 M/S, making him Superhuman
Haxs: Can interact with ghosts, Slight Toonforce
Abilities: As stated before they have slight toonforce, can interact with ghosts. Shaggy also has a werewolf form, can breath fire, and is a decent swordsman and without fear he is proficient in combat
Matt
Strength: Comparable to characters who can easily snap metal chains, slice diamond, and is by far the strongest Mii. He should be comparable to Miis that can survive volcanoes that launch them across islands and plane crashes. Making him ~Wall level (With much higher dura, tho idk for certain, I’m too lazy to calc. But probably at least Small Building?)
Speed: Able to catch a instantly snap his hand to and catch baseball moving at 65MPH and block attacks from an opponent who is seeing time slower, making him ~Superhuman
Haxs: None notable
Abilities: Expert boxer, swordsman, with superhuman strength.
So who wins?
This is difficult and will require a bit more analysis.
Shaggy CLEARLY has a greater arsenal than Matt, but Matt is clearly FAR more durable, so he could easily survive most of the attacks Shaggy dishes out, along with this, Matt is a far more experienced fighter, and has faced his fair share of superhuman opponents, comparing their speed feats, (13.5 M/S VS ~29 M/S), Matt is also faster. But no attack of Matt’s has reached the same level as his dura or Shaggy’s dura. However, I’m certain that Matt could exploit a weak point or just hit Shaggy enough to knock him down. Shaggy isn’t much of a FIGHTER he’s more of a runner, and seeing how fast Matt is, it's easy to say he could catch up to Shaggy and use his greater combat experience to edge out a win.
Shaggy may’ve had plenty of abilities and wacky gear, but against Matt’s combat prowess, strength, and shear speed, Shaggy was zoinked.
Aaron, what kind of power did you just unleash upon us all?
Anyway, seeing this reminded me of the time Shaggy choked and pulled Mortal Kombat Scorpion into that Warner Bros. Logo Animation.
Edit: Also, this is now Therewolf's new longest What-If? commission. Beat Sword Art Matrix by 4 seconds! (I stand corrected on this. Whoops. Never mind this edit.)

Fun fact: Matt from Wii Sports is one of the few characters in all of fiction who can match Shaggy at 100% of his power.
Which doesn't mean too much verdict-wise since Shaggy can use 30000000% of his power, but a remarkable feat nonetheless.

Alright, I have never been this more hyped since ever, and holy crap, I am absolutely hyped for this one
Man, such a fun matchup and an eveb greater song! It has so much fun potential that it even made me write and idea of the start lol:
We se Matt training at the boxing gym, giving lots of powerfull hits at a sandbag to the point where the last hit sends the bag flying, to where we see shaggy barely dodge it with a scared expression in his face.
Matt notices this and while picking back up the sandbag says to Shaggy: "You'd do best to leave, or it could end bad for a whimp like you"
As Matt said these words, Shaggy suddenly changed as if he was shocked by some otherwordly power, his face of fear changing into a furious gaze, just as Matt was getting ready to resume his training Shaggy aproached him in a blink of an eye and threw a fist ar him, Matt reacted and blocked the strike, the impact of which caused the whole gym to explode, creating a huge crater on Wuhu Island were both fighters stood
And as both tried to gain the upper hand, Shaggy said "Hm, like, you'll be sorry for talking down to me!"

This shit is the battle of gods but complete hype! Despite not being a fan of death battle or vs debate at all. I loves meme culture so seeing these two getting a battle track is amazing. It feel so grand and beautiful as it felt that Shaggy and Matt are having the time of their lives, finally happy to go all out while the universe is witness their epic battle in amazing colors! I love it so much! This track really fits the godly potential of Shaggy and Matt in their youth to their endless growth and role as complete heroes in their current prime!

After the hit matchup El Hermano VS Speedrunner Mario, we get Shaggy VS Matt from Wii Sports. What a time to be alive. And also gosh that track art is great, don't think I don't see that Chuck/Segata constellation in the background.
So, where to start with this grandiose piece... Well I guess the beginning works well. And what a beginning it is. It plays fully into the "absurdly strong" image that those two characters have gotten on the internet over time: it's grandiose in how it sounds, feels like two fighters with immense power are about to clash for sure. It's a great start to this song and of course a nice use of the Dragon Ball-like motif at the beginning which plays fully into the characters, especially Shaggy, but also is different to make it stand out uniquely. That start alone is just great as I said before.
And the rest of the song isn't worse either, far from it. We get the start of the fight at 0:30 and from there we can directly feel that power between the two clashing with a very energetic and intense segment that still isn't dark or sombre to fit the characters too, even if it gets distinctly epic at 0:54-1:05, which yet again fits the scale of the battle quite well.
Then at 1:05 we get a really great usage of What's New Scooby-Doo?'s theme up to1:37 which, in addition to being just great overall as said before, is also a wonderful bit of characterisation for the track as it's very easy to imagine that this whole segment would be a bit where Shaggy has the advantage in the fight before Matt starts fighting back at 1:28, the two clashing on even grounds before Matt fully comes out on top at 1:37 and the cycle restarts as Matt is forced to use more and more of his power to stay having the upper hand as the song starts going faster and faster before Shaggy's instrument goes back into the song at 2:14 to showcase that the both of them are now almost on even ground up to 2:26 where we're fully back on an even fight between the two that slowly gains in scale as the two unleash more and more of their power to try and come out on top but neither can manage to do so.
This whole segment up to 3:45 really feels like a progression in scale to the fight as we go from a relatively "grounded" altho of course intense to a sheer galactic scale battle at 3:00 with very "magical"-sounding motifs being played, definitely feeling as if the two are now fighting in the cosmos all over the universe itself as the camera pans all around their battle creating a beautiful spectacle for anyone that could watch it.
And then we get *THE* Ultimate Battle segment at 3:45 and *GOSH* I cannot underestimate how much I *ADORE* it. Ultimate Battle is already an absolutely bonkers track but its inclusion here is simply *legendary* . It just sounds perfectly like, as the title implies, an ultimate battle between two titanic powers taking place. Here it isn't like the previous segment where it felt mystical and holy. No, here it's just a segment of pure epicness and cool attacks being traded between the two fighters who are having the time of their life as they've finally found a worthy opponent for their full power. And the way it repeats with a key increase at 3:57 just emphasizes this as the two fighters are just going in harder and harder to prove to their opponent that they are the ultimate fighter.
And even when the segment ends at 4:08, it's still not the end of the fight unlike in other songs. It's like the song itself is trying to end after one of the fighters unleashed their strongest attack but the one that should have lost breaks all laws of reality and survives the attack before engaging in a final brutal clash at 4:31 with the opponent as the song finally shuts down on a calm universe as the defeated character passes on, happy to finally have found a worthy opponent to fight such a legendary battle.
Overall I was really hyped when I first saw this track because I knew it had potential to be absolutely amazing. And I definitely wasn't disappointed as it's simply amazing. Been a while since I was actually left breathless by a song's segment (well, last time was actually somewhat recent still as it was, unsurprisingly, with Ultima Machina but I need to stop preaching that song because people will think I'm obsessed) but that Ultimate Battle bit at 3:45 and the ending were simply *grandiose* . Utterly top tier bits. Which reflects the track as a whole because there's almost nothing that I like even a bit less than the rest, the exception being the Wii theme segment but even then I still really like it. So yeah, that's definitely an amazing job done there with this as always.

I like the reference to the Scooby Doo & Wii Sports themes, but Ultimate Battle near the end caught me by surprise.
Imagine being chuck and segata and seeing these two soar through space in a fight only to get back into a fight yourself
Nothing like going out and coming back, and then getting shock at what was uploaded! What is this display of peak music?! Why do meme match ups always have such peak music?! Whatever! It won't change that is perfect!

The fight starts with Shaggy on the cusp of beating Matt in the Boxing Game, but he isn't able to get up quickly enough after getting knocked down, and out of frustration he throws the remote and nunchuk through his TV (and several other houses in the way, this angers Matt, who steps out of the now broken TV, and assumes a boxing stance, ready to fight

Both their strength is too vast to calculate.
Just off the Wii Sports games alone: Matt can cut through diamond using a plastic sword, survive crashing a plane, fight and defeat a 100 other people without stopping, and can kick a soccer ball bigger than himself.
There's other games that focus heavily/exclusively on Miis too, mainly Tomodachi Life, Wii Party, and Miitopia. And stuff gets even more bonkers in them compared to the Sports games.
Shag man scales to the black samurai, who could destroy all of Japan if he wasn't beaten. In the comics, he dodges lasers on occasion. Finally, his fear is so great it can power his own yellow lantern ring and has wish hax. In a canon battle excluding memes, Shaggy takes it pretty easily.
