BMW MINI F56 How to fit a key fob cover and lanyard key ring JCW Cooper S One 2014-onwards

Super easy the only tool needed is a flat headed screwdriver
I purchased my cover from ebay, you can also get them from Mini.
Here is the link to mine, it looks like a none genuine item but does the job, note this doesnt have the NFC tag built in from what I can see:

I was wondering if the only con to this really cool key fob, is that you can't really access the emergency key without taking the lanyard off correct?

You press the button and the lanyard pops off

Yes other covers lose that bit as that’s just air underneath

Thanks for sharing. I think it's shameful of mini to not give a special key for a JCW. Instead, we have to buy what should be given to be charged even more.
