The quality of this video is unmatched. Both scenery/plane-wise, but also camera and stability-wise. I've never seen a sharper or smoother planespotting video. Fantastic video mate, keep it up! 👊
First Plane spotting vid of Edinburgh that I've seen of this quality amazing. Mad how quickly the snow wore off from the winter wonder land it was in the morning.
I flew on N14107 (the United 757 in this video) last May from Edinburgh to Newark, that was back when it was still in it’s Continental gold livery, it was a great flight and I hope to fly on a 757 again before they’re all gone
@@AviateJack I completely agree, the classic gold one was iconic but it did need replaced (mostly because the gold livery was first used with Continental in 1991) but I do think the older livery looks better on the 757
Absolutely brilliant footage. The picture quality is amazing & great selection of these regular visitors plus the less frequent sight of the snow plough staff, what a great job they do. Well done the videomeister 👌😍🎥🥇👍🙏
Nice filming, Anchorage though is the undisputed capitol of the world for seeing mountains covered in snow and the best snow clearing teams in the world, 2023 Anchorage had 133 inches of snow and they hold the record the airport has never closed because of snow. And of course seeing over 30 plus 747 a day plus droves of 777 and some spectacular older aircraft like the DC3 and DC6 not to missed, again nice filming well done.
I was on that Norwegian 737 to Oslo. Ended up about 2.5 hours late in departing. Started to get de-iced before the worst of the snow. Truck ran out of de-icer and whilst we waiting on it returning the runway got closed 😐. Just glad we eventually departed.
757 is awesome. it was 1 and a half centimeter of snow yesterday in glasgow.and i got a little surprised at the start,as i was expecting a plane😂😂. and today...the snow has melted here today.
Thank you! Yeah the snow provides a nice aesthetic, really didn’t want to miss the chance of capturing it. I’m using a sigma 60-600 lens and manfrotto tripod with a fluid head
It’s a Manfrotto base and head - it’s a fluid head which really helps with smooth panning, but there is also stabilisation added in post (premiere pro + after effects) :-)
Nothing will ever come close to the sound and sight of a 757 with the RB211s are full T/O power thundering down a runway. Gorgeous plane.
Yeah can’t beat the classics!
I was onboard this flight (UA37). TOGA powered TO and rocketing climb was superb.
Enjoy your trip!

It’s a decent service! Which livery do you prefer? The new one is clean, but I kinda like the classic look of the older one!

This is the best plane spotting video I have ever seen!
That’s awesome thank you very much!
Absolutely amazing footage! Thank you !
Thank you much appreciated!
My only criticism is that it wasn't long enough 😉 Although i appreciate that it may have been a tiny bit cool 😅
Haha I really wanted to stay longer, but it turned out my waterproof clothing was not so waterproof, next time I’ll definitely be more prepared!
Extraordinary Quality !
Thank you much appreciated!

Good job mate 👍 Thanks for sharing
Thank you much appreciated!
always love the 757, but also the A350 being able to fit at EGPH is awesome
Yeah the variety is pretty good at EDI!
Great video mate.

Yeah the snow was crazy yesterday but today it’s as if it never snowed at all!
Beautiful footage. What tripod do you use? 😊
Thanks! It’s a Manfrotto tripod / fluid head
Excellent video!! May I ask what lens you used?
Thanks! I use a sigma 60-600, really nice lens.
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
@Avi8Jack Thanks for that. Merry Christamas to you, too
Great video I enjoyed it new sub greetings

Wouldn’t want to be on one of those air lingus ATR’s in the ICy conditions 😅😅
Yeah the ATR’s are always interesting to watch in anything but ideal conditions 😮💨
Did you put something on your camera for cover?
No tbh I was very unprepared, but luckily the camera survived, and so did I!
❤ 757 ❤
So annoyed I missed that
Knowing our weather I’m sure it’ll happen again!
@ Definitely!
What a fantastic video! The detail is incredible. What camera are you using there?
Thanks much appreciated! It’s a Sony A7IV + sigma 60-600 lens
Fantastic mate, it's just amazing with the white backdrops. So atmospheric. Some great captures too 👌👍
