    Dan helped me "believe" in the mind body connection. He didn't just reply to my messages, he always included a link to one of his UA-cam videos that correlated with my subject matter.
    Thank you Dan!!!

    Such a very interesting conversation between you all. Great to hear differing points of view & everybody's unique insights. Finely facilitated by Dr Tovah asking pertinent questions. Particularly like Dr Talia's perspective. Dan as ever keeping it simple & on track...and always being so open & honest about his own experiences. Brilliant discussion. Thank you all so much. This is indeed a very individual journey & what maybe right for one person, maybe completely contradictory for another💜

    I’ve followed Dan for a few years, read Sarno’s books, read Dr Hawkins’ Letting Go, followed Dr. Kim D’Eramo’s work, and many other practitioners. Yet here I am, still stuck with daily eye issues (flashes, floaters), shoulder issue, nerve issues (exacerbated in the last few days, tingling, pins and needles) and heart skips. I know and understand ALL of this and feel that my brain is conditioned to keep these symptoms going and switching from one to another. Am I just stubborn in my subconscious and don’t know it? I have a bad body image also due to being in perimenopause. I was always in shape and never overweight. I just started Pilates classes and then the nerve issues started. Why is my brain resisting loving myself and getting beyond this ??

    Dan was one of my early on go to's... I had been a patient of Dr sarno's for 25 years. He helped but not till I found Nicole, you Tovah & Dan did allll the pieces of the puzzle click. Interestingly enough, my family received news about my stepson last March. In May an old very annoying symptom of sniffles, sneezing, stuffiness came back w a vegence. Back in 2002, I called Dr sarno w this symptom. He asked what was going on in my life, I was moving on w my boyfriend, (now husband) . He said that exciting events are also very stressful. He referred me to a therapist who I went to for 9 years. These symptoms disappeared till this past May. Not sure why they're sticking around. I go from just not trying, learning in, going about my day anyway, telling it to scram. Nothing seems to be working permanently.

    I’m new to this. I found Dan only a few weeks ago. I have applied TMS principles to my plantar fasciitis and my pain has improved. I’m practicing applying it to the insomnia I have had for the last 13 years (sleep anxiety) and the severe dry mouth (sjogrens). I am hopeful. I need and want to learn more. I have been hard on myself for years, slowly getting better. Do any of the docs take insurance?

      Shalom ... I can often get my clients treatments reinbursed from insurance companies since I can use my Chiropractic license. I am a doc for 38 years....... though my passion is to help individuals in chronic pain and with autoimmune symptoms. send me an email and we can find out if your insurance will cover my treatment.. I am glad you are seeing improvement with the mindbody methods with your inflammation Stay with this process, you will have continued healing.... dr tovah support@drtovah.com

      Monica - go to Dan’s site and take his pain test and assessment. Listen to his fast start UA-cam playlist. I went to one of the doctors, paid myself, and it just made my brain more scared.

      100%.. many individuals are in recovery.. and living a life they deserve... many broadcasts proving the success of the Neuroplastic methods and MindBody protocol... The actual symptoms don't matter as much as your relationship with your body and your personality, etc.. Dr Schubiner says this...MindBody/Neuroplastic Symptoms become persisitent due to 4 main factors... 1. Your Specific and Body's Natural Reactions to pain and other symptoms (see article ( www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/pain-explained/201911/tale-two-nails ... ) 2. Ongoing Emotional Reactions to past and current stressful life situations ( see www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/03/02/387007941/take-the-ace-quiz-and-learn-what-it-does-and-doesnt-mean ) 3. Personality Traits ( www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/whats-your-personality-type.5439/) 4. Ongoing Stressful Situations that need correcting or adapting to... (current healthy relationships wtih your spouse, your children, at work, etc ) I am explaining this due to many believing that due to a specific symptom or condition, they can not heal from the Mindbody methods.This is not black and white.. though we can get an idea of who we are and our relationship with pain, sickness, disease, and here the healing can occur.... Does this make sense? Happy to have a complimentary consult with you.. . to chat more support@drtovah.com

    How do we not get so mad at our brains? And tell it that symptoms are NOT protecting us? When I get consistent peripheral eye flashes and floaters (which are maddening!), I sometimes hit the side of my eye. That’s how crazy it makes me.

    • @tmsroundtable5906
      @tmsroundtable5906  Рік тому +1

      good question, Patty ,, you are smart and see the brain for what it is....though for whatever reason your brain is feeling the conflict and still responding to your unconscious feelings..your brain feels the "crazy' and now you have double protection from the brain.. What do you think? I know it is hard to be patient with relentless symptoms.. though repetiton, repetition.. repetition... sending you blessings of patience with your body😍

    You lost me a bit when you said you're not against the medical system, and that you want to integrate with it... The problem is that the medical system IS corrupt, it IS captured, you can't integrate reality with a system that is against the reality of the human body, mind, spirit. Yes, there are times and places where you need to seek medical advice, attention, particularly in cases of physical trauma. But you need to educated yourself as to when and how it can be helpful or harmful (which is probably more true than not). To raise our consciousness and awareness, beyond what we currently know so we can question authority, to improve our standing in nature and the miraculous ability of the body to heal itself, and the reductionist approach to modern medicine does not allow for that. Usually it is trying to break that cycle, unnecessary medications, that are pushed upon us, misdiagnoses, in-compassionate, overworked doctors, of which many are placed into this box frame-work from which escape is hardly possible... On many points I do agree however, but you mustn't be afraid of breaking and being critical with/of the medical establishment.
