"I loved you endlessly And you weren't there for me So now it's time to leave and make it alone I know that I can't take no more, it ain't no lie I wanna see you out that door Baby, bye, bye, bye". I could go on.
Bella canción que empodera a nosotras las mujeres...Viva la música de Helen...ojalá las mujeres que aun viven sumidas en esclavitudes pudieran revelarse y triunfar con este gran himno de Helen....gracias por compartir 🎉🎉🎉
Thank God for this lady and the strength she gave to support women rights. I remember my Puerto Rican mom in North Carolina learning that she was not going to be abused no more. 🌹 With Oceans of love, Clifford Colombia

This happened in 1989 in Washington. But who appears in the video is not Ready but Tilda Cobham-Hervey, actress who plays Helen Reddy in the 2019 autobiographical film.
Pretty sure this is not actually Helen Ready but a scene from a movie about her. Here is footage of the actual Rally for womens rights in Washington DC in 1989. ua-cam.com/video/jBZ4As2Si-0/v-deo.html
Woman were once held down with the child rearing y household chores. Some woman enjoy this y are very good at their jobs. I however felt that their was more beyond the horizon. Christian woman believe that the Man is all that. I can see that with the big bones y all but, the woman should still be her ultimate best y not settle for a man under her own standards on any level. This is "wisdom born of pain".
Lutheran here, and I dont believe men are all that. Men believe men are all that and prevented us from an education, so we would know they were full of sh*t. Ignorance is bliss.
In 2023, this song I heard many years ago, is now for me an anthem against all of the transgender who prentend to be woman. They have no idea what a real woman had to go throught the 60's and the 70's with the sexism that existed in those times. Also, they have no idea when a woman goes into labour and have this beautiful child born, made from her husband and herself. This child is loved and taken care of, guided until they become adult. Transgender do not have those responsibilities. But as a mom and dad, we do have that unconditional coming back to us by our children who are adults and have children of their own. Grandchildren we love unconditionally. All of it is come back to us unconditionally. We gave love to our offspring and we get it return. What kind of love do the transgenders give? only to their own buddies. They'll never get and will never know how to get love back from the children you raise and the grandchildren who respect you and love you. They'll never know that kind of love. I feel sorry for their selfishness and exhebinionist while they're young. Only the same as them will like them, their transgender friends. There is nothing better than your children and grandchildren love after our own partner in this life. This song uplifts me whenever I read about the transgender. I love this song much more than ever. I am a woman. Thank you god. And thank you Helen Reddy,.xo
This song represents all the struggles women have gone thru plus this song fits for what’s going on today as the Supreme Court took away a woman’s right to choose 😤
Dear, you know nothing about the struggle trans* people go trough! As you Grandchild I would be ashamed for you to be my grandmother 😢 You are mean & evil … so sad! One of a woman's superpower is empathy & you lacking of it!!! To all the Trans Ladies out there … WE are woman!!! ❤ There are girls like me who dont exclude & imagine the pain you go trough!
Así eramos las feministas del siglo pasado. Ahora ...ya no es lo mismo ...algunas quedan del movimiento KK_Na por ejemplo , pero la mayoría son verdeamarelas , dan pena.
I remember learning this song in elementary school. RIP Helen Reddy!
For young women everywhere, especially now in the U.S., please let your voices be heard like we did 50 years ago. You have political power. Use it.
It brings me to tears every time I listen to it. God bless Helen Reddy sadly no longer with us but will be never forgotten.
I totally agree with you here on this one.
Is it ok with you if someone sung a pro male song?
