I was recently planning to rebuild my calipers after doing the entire front suspension/steering/brakes, but i ended up finding out they carried brand new calipers at my local autozone so I just bought new ones. Working on the 86 is really simple and feels super rewarding. Nice Z btw!
Really! Buy a lottery ticket. I bought 3 or 4 sets that were advertised as 86 calipers but they were wrong. Ended up having to rebuild them! 86 is one of the most satisfying cars to wrench on and drive!
@@south7boys Really? I didnt know they were hard to find, I was just hoping to save some money rebuilding them, but couldnt find a full boot kit for it, and the calipers were like 15 dollars each so I couldnt pass the chance.. Also, I'd love to see any work you do on your 86, really helps when doing stuff on mine, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see more
When I was doing mine like a year or so ago I looked everywhere for a video like this cause it was like a day for that stupid spring clip, I double guessed myself doing it right for hours lol good stuff man, Also kinda nice to see im not the only one who struggled with that BS haha
Yeah. Was really hoping to buy a OEM replacement but couldn't find anything. I'm happy atleast one person found the video informative! Huge fan of your insta btw.
Glad to hear. Stay tuned we've got a bunch of stuff in the works. Currently the read axle is out of it. Getting some major work and upgrades done. Hopefully it's good to go by summer so we can get out sliding. Thanks!
Commenting because I like rust.

Do you have a link on the Toyota caliper rebuild kit? I have a 1987 mr2 and all four brakes are seized up
If your still looking for calipers I have all 4 rust free out of a 88 type b so there the bigger style calipers
