Ghana has done a fantastic job of encouraging African Americans to return. I did a solar installation in East Legon in 2015. Would love to visit Ghana again. Nigeria should be in your future plans
I love your channel and the love between you two! Thank you for portraying Ghana so positively! But wait, so you went to Kumasi and your hosts didn't take you to Manhyia Palace, the residence of the Asantehene(King of Ashanti)? Whaaat? Naaaah you need to go back! There's also a fantastic museum near the palace where you could've indulged in the rich culture and history of the proud Ashanti warrior tribe and the Royal family and all about Queen Yaa Asantewaa, King Prempeh I and II, Nana Osei Tutu (the current Asantehene) etc. Also next time you go to the Ashanti Region please make a trip to Bonwire, the home of Kente fabric. There you can buy or see Kente being handwoven on wooden looms with vibrant silk and cotton threads into meaningful symbols and designs- its the real deal and worlds apart from the fake, printed replicas we see all the time! The list of things to do and see is endless but enjoy your time in Ghana anyway! Akwaaba my king and queen!
Wow I'm glad I came across your Channel and I enjoyed your videos also I respect how you gave good advice and let people know about your experience in Ghana, I myself was born in Ghana but raised here in America but I do miss my country planning on going back for good in the near future there's nothing like Africa..Peace
Native Borne Next time you're in Ghana I truly recommend that you try to meet Dr. Obadele Kambon... he teaches at University of Ghana this brother is so brilliant he's originally from America but he moved his family to Ghana I think about 10 years ago he teaches at University of Ghana and now he speaks like three different Ghanaian languages, he has many videos on UA-cam also.
Eric B. We are actually in Ghana right now 😂 We have been here for over a year. Our children attended Obadele’s school and they are learning Tri. I agree he is absolutely brilliant. We will be creating an update on our experiences in Ghana so stay tuned. Be sure to check out our other videos. We have recently been vlogging about our day to day life in Ghana. ☺️
Native Borne wow that's great I'm happy for you guys you have a beautiful family and may the ancestors guide you and protect you always.. glad that you met dr. Kambon and your children are learning Twi... I'm from the Ga tribe so I speak Ga.
My dream is to move to Africa with my hubby and two daughters. 6 months in South Africa, 6 months in Ghana and 6 months in Nigeria. You guys are amazing and your Black Panther in Ghana video brought me to your channel.
I have been to all of these places. Johannesburg is very nice. Lots of history there. Went to Nelson Mandela's house and to the Mandela Square Mall. Very nice feeling there. Capetown is nicer but whiter. In Nigeria, I actually liked Lagos and the energy there. But Victoria Island is the place to be. Abuja is also very nice. I got married in Ghana. Comfortable place. All these places have wonderful neighborhoods with extremely nice houses. If you have money, you live better there. The Malls and theatres are nice in every country. saw a lot of nice Plays. Even TV is nice with there local shows. Some are very entertaining. It will be a great experience for you.
kenneth king, I'm glad you had a wonderful time in Lagos and Abuja. You're right about the energy in Lagos. It's always buzzing. I'm from Lagos and I know my city is packed. You're right about Victoria Island. Have you been to Banana Island? Is much nicer than Victoria Island. The hustling and bustling of the city. Did your experience surpassed your expectation?
I am addicted to Africa. Can't get enough of it. I have also been to Ghana, Gambia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia and South Africa. All to meet women or go to a religious convention. It always exceeds my expectations. Check out Highgrove village in Kenya. I have seen videos of Banana Island. If its better than Victoria Island, I must go there. I actually stayed at a place called Lekki while in Lagos.
kenneth king, awesome! It's obvious that you like travelling. Lekki is a nice place as well. Did you find any similarities between these countries you've visited? I bet this travelling has broaden your knowledge more.
Thanks for all your information. Yes! I am a retired educator, and I would like to make a change. My health is not at it's best, but the change will do be good. I indicated to you all in your other viedo's I hold three degrees. And hope to continue teaching at a University level in Ghana. I am willing to try. You both are great young people. Again thanks!
Yooooo!!! I've been in America for over 20 years, came here as a kid. I need to go back to Ghana ASAP. I've been watching your videos all weekend. Thank you so much for sharing
I just found you guys after watching your Black Panther experience in Ghana. Wow! What an interesting and inspiring story. Thanks so much for sharing. Please continue sharing and please keep the videos coming. Here's to increased subscribers!
Nice scene and pictures from Ghana and you guys gives real positive vibes about your travels... I am from Aburi so it was nice to see hometown.... Enjoy your stay in Ghana
Amazing video and beautiful video! To see the beautiful country of Ghana from your perspective was refreshing. It felt like I was there with you guys. Keep the videos coming!!
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing your experiences. You have no idea how much value you are giving people with this. African-Americans should definitely travel to Africa more. The continent is far more developed than is portrayed by the US media. You have Chinese and Indians pouring into Africa to do business. Why not African-Americans? There is serious money to be made in Africa, especially in booming countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya. A lot of business goes on in those countries, and with a bit of capital and a good business idea, you can turn a millionaire far quicker than you would in America.
ross meroe Thank You 🙏🏾 For sure, there are lots of business opportunities here in Africa; just be sure to connect with someone you trust to understand all the logistics. The opportunity is here, but it’s not the easiest process. 😉
You’re so right. But African Americans are obsessed with luxury and comfort so they miss out on great business opportunities in these developing countries.
This is a inspiring video I too am going to get my passport and come home me and my boys and plan to get a home been watching many videos but this is the best
Thank you so much for this video! I appreciate you sharing your experiences in Ghana. Such practical advice. I am ready to go! You have such a beautiful family. Wishing many blessings to you and yours.
I’m from Ghana, currently in Richmond VA, I have learn so much from guys. I love you guys, I love watching you guys represent my country. Next time I’m in Ghana I will hit you guys up.
I am new to your channel, and I have to say that you guys have given the best information about moving to Africa and Ghana, that I have ever heard. Thank you for keeping it real with your subscribers.
I feel so blessed to have stumbled across your channel. My husband and I will be visiting Ghana in September and I have been searching for information on the Yellow Fever vaccine exemptions. You guys covered that topic succinctly, yet clear; thank you for your transparency. I can't wait to check out more videos!!
Beautiful family Such a wonderful love story. Ghana has been an experience for your family. I have been planning to relocate to Ghana for the past 4 years but it still needs more work in the plans and much saving money. I want to start a small business in Ghana with a friend who was born and raised in Ghana and still lives in Accra. I know it won't be easy but I'm willing to sacrifice. God Bless your family. Much love to all of you and everyone.
I am so glad I came across these videos. I am thoroughly enjoying. Not sure if this is the first video...still looking...would like to start at beginning.
Thank you both so much for such relevant information I most certainly shall get everything in order so I can make my move in the next 5 years. I am a retiree but will go to help my eldest son and his family go. I will open a school there (my calling). You two have turned up my excitement. I was running to Panama but have returned to returning home to Africa now. My dream from several years ago...
Omg, a vampire bat! I love your union and beautiful kids! I am actually living on Quinnipiac Ave, left Brooklyn as soon as my daughter graduated from high school. Now she's attending a university upstate New York. I really appreciate your videos, keep them coming please.
I'm so glad I found your videos. I will be heading back to Ghana in August I would love to meet you guys. This will be my third trip to Ghana. I'm currently living in America and I have plans on relocating to Ghana in the future. Good luck with everything.

Wow! Just came across your channel in your Black Panther video ....blown away!!! Scrolled down this first video to learn more about your beautiful family experiencing the Motherland. Definitely subbing, and looking forward to learning more about you guys.
Great advice, really enjoyed watching your experience in Ghana! I’ve been going to ghana back and forth for about 15 years now and I love it there and my husband I also choose to invest in Ghana as apposed to investing in the UK. no better time than the present- best of luck!
I truly loved this video and you gave a wealth of important information. One thing I wondered about was schooling. I have children so I want to know what types of education are available and the costs etc. I know this video is a couple of years old but I hope you can respond. Thanks 🙂
Blue Jupiter Thank You so much for your support 😊 There are many schools available in Ghana. Some are local schools which is extremely affordable but the quality may not be what you are looking for. Then there are International schools which can be extremely expensive. We are somewhere in the middle. Our two younger children, 6 and 3, attend schools which is relatively affordable and very nice. We pay on average around $50 a month for each child. Our 3 older girls are homeschooled but they attend various child-friendly programs on occasion.
I'm new to your channel, I just subscribed to get more great videos. I'm a professional photographer; I've made a few trips to Ghana some years ago where I took my bicycle and everything I needed, including a tent to sleep in to be self-sufficient to travel around the area to get the full experience. I had a great time! Although I have no immediate plans to move there, I'd like to visit in the near future. I saw the video where the couple lived in a baghouse, I thought that was interesting as I'm building a small house in the woods in the south, I'll have to get more info on the baghouse build to give it a try myself. Keep those videos coming!!!
B E A U T I F U LL black family. Thank you all so much for this video and for sharing this very useful information with us all. How are the vegan options there? And how much would you need to for a stay of 4 weeks for a family of 3? Including a car and gas.. I have so many questions lol :D Willing to make a family trip to Ghana with my family also. Peace love and light to you all.
Excellent dissemination of info. I'm addicted 2 your vlogs. Beautiful Family. I'm wonderin Bobos name I think I kno him 😌💜🌍⛰💯🖤🌴✊🏽💪🏾🌞🌛⭐️🦋🐚🦋🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🖤✊🏽💜🏝
Juna Luna 😂 we've had some monumental arguments lol. But the loving and fun times in our life has outweighed the bad. 😉 We believe strongly in friendship and communication. After being together for 17 years and married for almost 15 this took lots of work ❤️
Oh my goodness I have watched several of your videos this morning absolutely phenomenal. I wish you all would’ve went over cost a little more how much does an average family need to live there for a few months how much would a single person need to live there for a few months. Kind of curious thank you all so much for sharing God bless see you when you’re traveling
bat in the hotel. yes we can relate as well when a giant spider was crawling on the floor a hotel in Morocco. And first night and like major jetlag. lol
Thank you for the information. When my daughter (she was 18mos at that time) and I went to Ghana, we had to have the yellow fever shot, tetnum shot and take malaria pills. Now, I do have good allergies and eggs are one of them. My husband didn't need them; he's Togo born and Ghana raised. The jolluf rice is the best. Palm nut soup was too oily and spicy as well as the groundnut soup. The children now likes fufu, but not me, and I couldn't get used to eating rooster meat.
Marlon Weir Well we currently live in Oyarifa which we really like cause it’s away from all the busy chaos in Accra. We met our home helpers randomly but we know of some placement agencies that can assist you on getting the help you need.
Kiprotich Toroitich We had a few connections in Ghana before arriving. It was the easiest transition. It is also a relatively kind and peaceful country. 😊 our goal is to travel to see more of the world.
Alkaline water still has particulates floating in it that you cannot see, Distilled water has a 0 TDS level. Test your alkaline water with a tds meter and you will begin to understand that just because the water is alkaline does not me that all sediments have been removed not to mention you are still drinking fluoride in your alkaline water.
So helpful. I am trying to get it together for next summer. Ghana, Togo and Benin are my target regions to visit per my DNA results. I really need a realistic snapshot of what it takes financially to spend 2-3 weeks there. Can you inbox me 'frugality tips'. Is it best to go through a travel agency or book on your own....things like that.
Comprehensive video. really Great. Welcome home. What was your experience with your residence permits under the right to abode law for Africans in the diaspora
Kwesi Thank You 😊 We do not have our residence permit yet. We are here on our visitors visa. They have us jumping through a lot of hoops. We’re just taking it one day at a time 😉
What a beautiful family! Natural hair, natural look, family values!

What is the intro song to your videos? 👍
Thank you for the information. When my daughter (she was 18mos at that time) and I went to Ghana, we had to have the yellow fever shot, tetnum shot and take malaria pills. wonder why most black americans when moving to africa choose ghana? love from an east african
Kiprotich Toroitich We had a few connections in Ghana before arriving. It was the easiest transition. It is also a relatively kind and peaceful country. 😊 our goal is to travel to see more of the world.
Native Borne cool. Never been to west Africa or north though my brother in law is half Ghanaian half kenyan . Come visit the savannah some time.
Kiprotich Toroitich Cool 😎 would love to see that part of the continent. We bout to crash at your place with the 5 kids 😜

Distilled water is the BEST water you can drink.
Soldierinarms 👍🏽 Right
Alkaline water still has particulates floating in it that you cannot see, Distilled water has a 0 TDS level. Test your alkaline water with a tds meter and you will begin to understand that just because the water is alkaline does not me that all sediments have been removed not to mention you are still drinking fluoride in your alkaline water.
Soldierinarms True That!!
I'm new to your channel.
I love it .
We’re just taking it one day at a time 😉
Native Borne well in due course it will work out. All the best.
Kwesi Thanks 🙏🏾 😊
