Very informative, but would also advise that any brother or sister wanting to move or repatriate to the motherland has to learn to live like one of the locals ,also learn to live in the other parts of the country or even outskirts of the major cities because when you know how to live with the locals in the less privileged communities and share your knowledge with the locals its always easy to adjust to the big city life. Don’t just repatriate thinking of what “YOU” can benefit for yourself. When you learn to acquaint yourself with the community it becomes difficult for the “ bad people” to get at you. There is a big difference between living in ATL,DC,NY or any other city in the states and that of any city in Ghana. Economically, politically and security wise you can not compare any city in Ghana to anywhere in the states but acquainting yourself with the right people will help a lot. Opening up to the locals and sharing your knowledge and ideas will go a long way to help your stay as well. I’m from Ghana but live in VA and will be moving back home soon. If anyone needs more information holla me at barimadeafe@gmail.com.
Sounds true. Thank you for sharing that. If we (Americans) has that same attitude about impoverished areas, neighborhoods, etc, we could help a lot of people, including ourselves. Sometimes, when you give, you get more than you gave.
Fascinating video. Loved every moment. In terms of business, I wonder if skills in demand, aren't a potential path for success in Ghana. What I mean is this, people with IT skills should have no problems living in Ghana or anywhere else for that matter. People competent in electrical, electronics, other technical areas, and not necessarily with a college background, are perfect candidates for success in self employment. I respect Ariel's views, but who has the resources to chill out for a year assessing the lay of the land. Check the Ghana government website, talk to them, let them prepare you before you even arrive home. After all, they say they have a place for ALL Africans in the diaspora. Peace and love to all my people. Love blackness. Love Africa, regardless.

Every man of color of African descent from America need to experience this feeling. You are not free if your soul is not free. Peace and love!! I will be buying your products.
I'm a Registered Nurse living in florida, and I've been wanting to move to Ghana for a while now. But so far all the research I have done has shown that I won't be able to continue my career as a nurse if I move to Ghana. It has shown the pay rate is extremely low or they don't pay on a timely manner. I feel so disencourage because I'm so tired of living in the states. I'm at the point in willing to work 3 months straight in the states & 9 months living with my family in Ghana.
a good way for "preparing yourself to live in ghana" is to ask yourself what it is that you have to offer? what value do you add? what problem(s) facing ghana are you there to help address? you're unlikely to be able to answer those questions without spending time there (meaning, more than a tourist visit). if there is an area of interest, try to find out if there are any conferences held in ghana that are concerned with you area of interest. in addition to getting more insight into what you might have to offer in ghana, it is also a way to meet people and establish contacts. but don't expect too much from just one meeting. think of it as the first step in a process. it will take some patience, perseverance and commitment. if you are in a hurry to get out of the US (which is understandable), that is going to cloud your judgment. it is also worth keeping in mind that going to ghana is not "going home". when going to ghana from another country, you're going to a foreign country. that insight will help you avoid some of the "mistakes" that were referenced in this video.
I was born and raised in East Flatbush Brooklyn and to hear this brother speak accurately about how it was and how it prepared him for Africa is per found. I too want to live in Africa and to see one successfully do that from where I am from is motivation.
These interviews are invaluable. I like Daddy Native Borne in interview mode - very watchable. Keep on. Maybe you can do conferences in the US, with speakers such as this man. Not all suits and ties - i can imaging you would attract a young crowd and make good income. Start small with e-books and workshops - use social media to the max, youre all so goodlooking I think there is a market just for your knowledge and experience thus far in Africa.
I am so grateful for your channel. I am a self employed African American planning to move to Nigeria with my Nigerian husband. We are currently in the process of building multiple streams of income online before moving back home for good.

good share my Brothers. I am originally from Trinidad. Lived back and forth between Brooklyn and Trinidad since 1973 when I first returned To Trinidad for carnival. In the last 26 years I spent more time in Trinidad than I did in America. I call Brooklyn Home because it is where I am most comfortable. Although I lived 13 years in The Bay Area California, Brooklyn remained Home as I visited almost every year. Having said all that. I feel like life in Trinidad has prepared me for life in Ghana, tho I have never been to Ghana. Our weather is the same. Our style of Governing is much the same. Our fruits and vegetation again is much the same, except I expect the quality in Ghana should be much better. Cost of living in Trinidad is very high, but because I've always been self employed I did pretty OK. I did online research research for about 4 months watching Videos about repatriating to Africa and I choose Ghana as the place I want to live the rest of my life. I had enough of Plantation Life and want to be free to be who I am. Because of my experience living on Plantation Trinidad, I left there 2 months ago intent on just moving to Ghana, no check and see it first. What advice would give to someone with my experience? I also live for a short while in the London UK. I don't want to come and see first then come forward to Brooklyn to get my things and come forward to Ghana again. I'm done with Plantation living. Please share your thoughts with me. Thank you
Great interview. I picked up some of their black soap and lavender body wash last December. It is divine! Tried to find more some more when I was over last month and couldn't find it anywhere. Can't believe it was right around the corner. I was staying in Adenta too! Will check out Amazon and get some shipped over. Right now I'm only using it on special occasions... It works a treat for me and 'i have hype sensitive skin. Hearing his story makes it all the more special to me. Peace
I love the vibrations your videos sends out. They energize my spirit. I too, along with my then fiancé, now wife, spent time in Ghana and have longed to go back, but health issues has delayed my return. Rastas have a higher consciousness and mindset....kind of on the level as NOI, but NOI does not embrace Africa like the Rasta. I have never subscribed to anyone’s UA-cam.....but I am so impressed yours will be the first. As far as safety and the police not coming.....sounds like Detroit and Flint. Juxtapose these videos with charliebo313 UA-cam channel and it makes you think.
Mehn that brother spoke to my heart when he said that Africa makes him feel like a man. Thats true man - never felt like a pussy since I've been living in the states with all these laws, lawyer and police. If you can make your own bread, you can live anywhere and don't need to work for anyone. And that is true freedom! My brother visited Ghana last week from Naija and have alot of good things to say about the infrastructure and the current government mindset. I believe that in less than 20 years Ghana will be a completely different country. Nice video
You and your wife and family are absolutely awesome!! Thanks spot for sharing your journey back to the motherland with us. Please do not limit yourselves to Ghana, you guys have a whole continent to explore! I am born and raised in Zimbabwe and it is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, despite the negative feedback in the media. May The most High guide and bless you guys!!
There is another loop hole to explore in regards to doing business in Ghana. You can get a friend who is Ghanaian to register the business ( Anyone whose parents or grandparents are/were Ghanaian can get Ghanaian citizenship)and you can come on as an investor ( but really like a partner) & partners can really do as little or as much as agreed and also can own as much shares in the company as both parties agree. So you can own 99% of the shares. 1% to your friend for helping you out. And run your business. Also make sure you write a contract between you and your friend/partner/investor, and you both sign so that it shows what you have invested, what amount of shares are yours etc. Good Luck. Working in Ghana, you can find your niche , find what you can import/export, make things in Ghana that are not common yet- export to Africa and then the world etc. Good Luck. Give yourself a budget every month. At times maybe coming and going (meaning going to the West to work for a few months and returning)for 2-4 years, will give you the funds/income you need to grow and stabilizer your business. Then you can settle. You can also ship some groceries you like over yearly or less( some cost a lot in Ghana- foreginers brands that is). You can do it! And when you get there, to Ghana I mean, do not take on the mentality of showing off/flexing; you will burn all your cash and have no friends at the end of it. Stay true to your immediate family - and plan. Talk to some business owners too- some, not all will give you good advice - be selective, use instinct.
Love this interview went to website prices are sooooo resonable getting my order in... Thanks for info and will support this brother... Americans (some) dont like to share knowledge.. Thanks Kings😍
Brother Ariel, congratulations for your hardwork. You persevered and you made it in your home country/continent. You have connected to your roots and from now you are bound to soar to great heights. Well done, brother, you give us so much inspiration. I am really feeling proud of you.
I absolutely love the content on your channel thank you thank you thank you so much for taking time out to share your knowledge and your experiences on ground. As a suggestion if you would be so kind, when you interview people if you could put their contact information in the show notes under your information that would be great. At times it's hard to understand the accents of some people when they're talking. Again thank you for your time and consideration! 1🖤 🙅🏾♀️4ever

Great interview. I wish I could teach your camera operator to use manual camera settings. Automatic shutter and focus are not a good idea for good quality movies. The over-bright exterior window light means the exposure is all over the place.
I really like this video, I’ll be visiting Ghana very soon. I will visit Ghana, Benin and Togo. I will arrive in Ghana on August 9th. Where is his shop located, I’d like to visit and purchase some of his products...
@michelle wilson: you don't need to go to his shop unless you just want to meet him. as he stated in the video, his primary distribution channel is stores. in any event, you should go to the end of the interview where he referenced his website if you want more information. according to the website, the shop is in adenta. i've never been up there but it is a bit north of the university of ghana and east legon.

Thank you
Will be placing my order! Thank you for this great video and knowledge once again. Always want to support our own made products!
100 likes...thank you both
Great interview.
That was heartfelt, brotherly love at it's finest
Two Very Wise and intelligent brothers! Love the Show! Love your approach in questions
This is one of the most informative videos/ interviews you've done. Keep up the excellent work to keep us informed and up to date.
So wisee. Learnt so much 💕
Mehn that brother spoke to my heart when he said that Africa makes him feel like a man. Nice video
I'm from Africa, and watching your videos makes me want move back home so bad lol. You guys have a beautiful life, and thank you for sharing.
I'M BUYING THAT.
Excellent reasoning with the Brother sharing his experience with added great knowledge regarding moving to Africa. Amandla!
Interview is great from the Elder classic jewel @12mins just observe Africa at first.
To be your own and be productive...Awesome. All the best Earth-Seed!
Hoping that all is well with you and yours. May the Most High continue to bless you all 🙏🏾

Definitely supporting the brother- owner of Earth Seed. Gratitude for sharing the wisdom. He’s super handsome too 😍. Lol.
Respect, means everything.
*Brilliant Man + Great Wisdom! Thank you! 🙂*
I make these things and plan on doing it in Ghana once i come
Thank you for this jewel 💎 Keep up the great work!
Brother you’re an inspiration, so much creativity in your videos. The background music is nice
Very incorrect.
Ras AriEl How so?
Thank you for sharing
Very collective, a necessary characteristic to have as a man. Thanks for sharing.
BIG UPS...MUCH LOVE TO EARTH SEED!! DC's rockin wit you!!!
This is so interesting! And, I’m trying to come for a visit. I go to Europe a lot, because it’s gotten so cheap! I just have to save up, and put off going anywhere for a while. I know it’s worth it.
So motivating! I love when people take action for success! Awesome 🌸.!!
After watching this vedoe and many others. I may say you have a beautiful family and a lovely wife. And I trying to save my money for a passport and around airplane ticket from chicago to Ghana. Seeing how beautiful Ghana is and all the other things you all show us. I wish I get a airplane now and just over over. Thanks
This was excellent!!! Thank you once again!
Love it .....Str8 Garveyism!
Words of wisdom, spoken with clarity and honesty.
Very grounded Dread! Jah guide and bless! I wish you continued success in your life and business. You showed courage to move to Ghana so young. Real man bout yah!
Wow this was a very informative video! I love it 😍
I'll definitely visit you in December when I come to Ghana
Great interview. I wish I could teach your camera operator to use manual camera settings. Automatic shutter and focus are not a good idea for good quality movies. The over-bright exterior window light means the exposure is all over the place.
Good to Hear that!!! Well done Brothers
I really like this video, I’ll be visiting Ghana very soon. I will visit Ghana, Benin and Togo. I will arrive in Ghana on August 9th. Where is his shop located, I’d like to visit and purchase some of his products...
Michelle Wilson , how about you wait and we can both travel together
Michelle Wilson I'm from Togo and you are welcome
The shop looked like it was located in East Legon
@michelle wilson: you don't need to go to his shop unless you just want to meet him. as he stated in the video, his primary distribution channel is stores. in any event, you should go to the end of the interview where he referenced his website if you want more information. according to the website, the shop is in adenta. i've never been up there but it is a bit north of the university of ghana and east legon.
Michelle Wilson how was the trip??
Good to see those products handmade in the motherland by our own. I will definitely support!
