Hey guys, I’m Abbey Sharp and welcome to Abbey’s Kitchen. We are back with another edition of What I Eat in a Day UA-camr reviews. A lot of you have requested this video, so today I am reviewing one of the most popular fitness and health influencers on UA-cam, Whitney Simmons.

i LOVE how whitney isn't super restrictive and seeing her style of eating has kind of saved my mental health and relationship with my body. i'm so thankful i discovered her channel when i did.
I'd love to see you review UA-camrs who have lost a significant amount of weight like JordanShrinks or ObesetoBeast! I know John (OtB) hasn't posted a full day of eating in a while but he has definitely posted some

I love the way Jordan did a "what I used to eat when I was overweight" video, just to prove that falling off the wagon for a day isn't devastating.
I think she is the best youtuber that you have reviewed so far, she seemed like she has her feet on the ground and is not into sketchy products/ companies. Very refreshing

YAY! I love these videos. Abbey I know you get so many requests, but I recently watched Erika Costell's what I eat in a week video and it was very concerning. She has such a young fan base as well. I know she is a runway model but it's setting such a bad example..

Just a heads up, I didn’t think the everything dip was everything enough. I added more everything seasoning to it. My fav recommendation for Trader Joe’s is the kale spinach dip! 🙌🏼

Okay, easiest crispy hashbrowns:
Toss your shredded potates in oil or melted butter and salt. Spread in even layer on baking sheet. Roast at 450° until they are your desired level of crisp and brown.

I am slowly becoming more and more like Whitney. Haven’t tracked calories in 2 months and while some days it’s mentally hard, most days I find it so freeing. I focus on making sure I have a carb/protein/fat split in my meals and try and eat as many veggies and fruits as possible. And EVERY night I end the day with a tea or hit chocolate with some ginger snap biscuits because gotta have thst treat. It’s a learning experience but I’m slowly getting there

Oatmeal is a perfect breakfast! I mean I know literally EVERY what I eat in a day features oats, but I mean they are OG, an oldie but a goodie 😛😛😛 I am a supporter of the oatmeal

Would be a good video idea but there may be an ethical, professional boundary being crossed.
Think of doctor channels like dr mike or mama dr Jones. They have to say that for everyone to default to the dr. Even askdrs subreddit has a warning that a response from a physician does not equate a doctor patient relationship and one should always default to their doctor.
To accurately judge a diet you need medical history, medical concerns, and were I live many would want some type of testing to see what you need more of.
You cant just go off of someones age, height, weight and activity level to accurately judge someone dietary needs.
Also, if this is her profession, reviewing someones diet for a video could quite literally take from her income.

Hi Abbey- I’m so happy you discussed probiotics. Exactly as you said, I have an autoimmune disease (ulcerative colitis) and probiotics make all my symptoms worse! So much experimenting! Love your vid as always x
I loved that she used the behind meat beef stuff I use it for tacos every so often and I absolutely love it but she should’ve gone without adding more salt but still good. I gotta try making meatballs with it now.

I'd be curious what your thoughts are on Unnatural Vegan's recent Intuitive Eating video. I find both of you approach topics with such thoughtful intelligence and balance, and I think she made some really good points. But perhaps it feels that way to me because her approach fits in with what's worked for me. But yes - reaction video of that? ('Reaction video' makes it sound way too controversial though)
