@@linostockling485 Well, none of these were a cobra maneuver actually. The cobra maneuver is a type of post stall maneuver. Just watch some videos and you'll see what it looks like.

Altitude at sea level is different of terrain altitude so technically no, the plane's computer could still tell you to pull up

The "Caution, pull up" stops after your altitude starts reading below 0. I guess the on board AI just gives up thinking that the guy crashed so hard that he's gone below surface

Sorry to ruin your fun but if an f-22 is used for CAS something went wrong as it can't self lase a target, as it is an air superiority fighter not a multi role like the hornet or f-16, f-35, rafale and the numerous sukoi's
Took me forever but I finally did it myself! Yay!!!! But I will say, it took me soooooooo many tries before I actually got the maneuver down and then do it inside. Hats off to you for showing that this was possible and pulling it off!

The tunnel reminds me of "ACES" from AC5 since it's tight and in the final mission you have to destroy the targets, and get out safely.

This is more like AC3's mission. You need to do a dogfight underground as well before leaving.

I was pretty disappointed they never let us see the actual top of this space elevator. I would have loved to see it even if it was just in a cutscene. Maybe they could have shown the spacecraft docking to it at the end. A spacecraft did apparently come back from its mission in deep space & arrive at the space elevators top.
I’m pretty sure you can see the top of the space elevator as trigger descends from going up

I finally mastered the PSM the other day. It’s GOT to be the most useful thing I’ve ever learned. That’s coming from a guy who’s played literally every Ace Combat in existence.
How do you do it?
Wibble Lord It’s kind of hard to explain without showing you but, slow down until the jet is just at idle speed, then hold both deceleration and acceleration triggers at once and pull back on the stick. It’ll take a bit to get used to it but just keep at it and you’ll figure it out.
EDIT : Bear in mind that not every jet can do this. I don’t know the exact list of ones that are capable but if you can’t seem to get it try a different jet. I know it works from the F-22 and the F-35 though.
Wibble Lord search up post stall maneuver videos. I use knots so my speed is usually below 250 to initiate.

Every Ace Combat has a tunnel mission, bro. Ace Combat 4 had the Megalith, Ace Combat 5 had the control center at Farbanti, Ace Combat Zero had the missiles facility with the shifting roof plates, Ace Combat 6 had the rail gun thing....ever AC has a tunnel mission.
These guys are so good. No wonder why I often get shot in multiplayer mode.

If this was a fighting area in multiplayer it probably wouldn't be all too fun, but it would show off some other types of skills. High speed chases and post stall maneuvers throughout the area. At least I would hope so. Most likely, no one would go down there unless they were forced to.

The entrance is there but it's blocked and will only open after completing the story

Speed displayed on screen is 1643 of some units Speed by all other signs - around 70mph. Ace Combat, Ace Combat never changes...

Tunnels like this was in Ace combat 3 in mision "tunel vision" i was love it. At start i was always crash to some closing gates but later i was pass them almost with max speed. After that colosing gates was choise to fly right around corners etc but there was also car way/tunnel on left very smal with white stips on asphalt.Clying inside it was pleasant.

Did you have to do the missions ON Hard or would Ace work too?
Sadly you have to do it all over again. I first did all S-Ranks on hard and unlocked an F-104C, on Hard unlocks the F-22 skin and on normal unlocks a F-14 skin. It's a rea bummer that doing it on Ace doesn't automatically give you all three
