RST with both hands. I'v been using RST suit for 3 years now and the build quality is amazing. Also tested the protection with 100km/h low side on track. Best value for money in my opinion.

Nice review. Bought the RST Track Tech EVO R for 599.00 US. Ordered a 54 euro and it was tight through the shoulders, back and biceps. Cut through the middle and legs were fine. Returned the 54 for a 56 and the fit is great. I'm 5'9" and 190 lbs with a athletic build. Suit comes with CE level 2 protection throughout which includes the back and hips. Good stuff for the price point

The added safety in the Dainese one is worth its money in gold, the entry level suits are great for starting out but do not underestimate where your extra money goes when you go with a higher end suit.

I know I have a previous comment from three years ago but leaving new one. I end up getting RST R-sport, really like it. I had to do slight modification on the right shoulder after suffering injury to my shoulder (not in suit at time). Unfortunately because the liner isn’t removeable, it got torn so have to be careful not to put my arm through it.

I tried a 54 RST suit on today and I could have worn a 40ltr bumbag on the back of my waist under the leathers. The chest was snug, the legs were skintight and the length was too short. I’m 182cm, 109cm chest, 92cm waist and 87kgs.

I haven't tried on any alpinestars suits or jackets but when I tried on the dainese lines they never fit well at all the shoulders never seemed to sit right. When I tried on the rst pro series though it fit perfectly so I think it's also a case of whether the measurements are good for specifically your body. I have wide shoulders and a big chest but a small waist and stomach so most things don't fit very well

  • @phelan771

I’ve got a Teknic 2 piece suit that I picked up used for a song. It was 1 size too small so it’s a bit tight and not long enough, ideally. Still, for the low price, I had to have it. I’ve also owned Lewis Leathers Monza jacket and jeans. Very stylish. I’m considering Hideout leathers who do bespoke suits, for my next leathers. I don’t race so 2 piece is more versatile for me. RST is incredible value but lack of custom fit might be an issue for me.

you're not supposed to stand up straight in race fit suit. RST is a badass suit for the money. Its shaped for you to be sitting on the bike, not standing. The tight crotch is not bad when you are in a tuck position while on the bike.

  • @Ro6entX

I was looking into getting RST while back ago but I never got one. I have bad luck with suits; used to wear 50 but gained weight, bought a berik 54 (good brand, just underrated), lost weight so bought 52 but had to sell it bc hurting for money at time. Unfortunately race fit absolutely rubs my right knee raw after one hour of wearing so have to go with comfort fit.

@@letsreviewit8925 The 50 was Alpinestar (cant remember model now), sold it, both 54 and 52 were both Beriks. After my money situation was over, I was considering AN but couldn't figure out what size I would be ,and RST was too expensive, i end up with a Alpinestar replica which seemed good at the time, but after seeing my friend crash in his actual Astar (he was fine, just road rash) I have no faith in its crash integrity so looking into getting something else (the Berik kangaroo one is possibility)

I bought RST Racetech Evo 3 a week ago, it hasn't seen road yet. As you said, could be longer, difficult to stand, but comfortable in slight crouching position. Hope it will be better once loose few centimetres on belly. Or should return and replace for size bigger 🤔

    • @letsreviewit8925
      @letsreviewit8925  4 роки тому

That's a tough one, they don't give alot in length so if they re uncomfortable consider trying the next size. But they will break in so if they're tolerable it might be worth waiting until you've worn them a few times. I often wear mine in the house for a few hours before taking them out on the bike.

I’ve ordered the rst grandstand race suit without trying it... I live in the states and basically have to buy sight unseen from the UK. I ride a street triple and I’m hoping it should be a bit more comfortable for the more upright riding position than the track tech. Hopefully I’m correct.

I might be the only one, but I've never heard of "mangina" before and you had me laughing my ass off. I wondered about that first one smashing your nutts; I guess they all did but the Ducati wasn't as bad down there, but that's not saying much. I don't know why they don't have accommodations for our package like Batman & Robin does. I mean, where's your private gear supposed to go? I'm a cruiser anyway, so I wear jackets and jeans.
Anyhow, I liked the Alipinestars too, nice design and looks good. I have their jeans and unlike some name brands, it's not one you're concerned about being on there. They're not outrageous and not cheap, so they don't really call attention to themselves. Now, that Ducati suit on the other hand, I couldn't pull that off anywhere. It just screams, "Look at me" and I couldn't do that one, but it does look very nice. I'm okay with loud colors if it's just one piece, but not a whole suit. But then again, I wear different stuff for a mostly in-town rider.
I do have my first Bilt matching jacket and pants. And I don't care what anyone says, I still like them and wear them, but not always together. We all have to start somewhere.

I've tried a few and Rev It fits me far better than any other. Alpinestars always seemed like it was too big on me, smashing my balls at the same time and overall not fitting well. I see it's the same with the presenter. When he sits on the bike, the suits crumbles like it's not his size at all. With my Rev It I can walk fairly normally and it's so much more comfortable, it's not even a contest.
