Soooooo glad i found your streams love watching them everyday brings back sooooooo many good memories from my teenage years keep up the great work Falcon💪💪👏👏👏
"It takes two to siege" was the line of the game, not epic but such a sensation to see skill in different places in these games, treat for us! Thanks Falcon . ever well-wisher
Blizzard fucked up the remaster in my opinion. A few systems like counting drone kills are missing. You can not set 2 waypoints from your CommandBuilding (especially Zerg suffer because of it!!) and there were no new Balance changes to my knowledge. YES YES YES some ppl would be pissed, but as it is: there are units/abilities which are just never used! A 5+% buff or something might be enough to tip the scale to make them AT LEAST situational instead of "no way i waste my time on that" ... :/
11:00 Bisu never had a lead. His proxy gateway did absolutely nothing. That gateway and pylon would have been far more useful in his main base. Just because he had 2 bases, doesn't mean anything. P has to typically be 1 base ahead of T to get parity. Bisu was in an okay spot, but overall Flash has been in control of this game up to this point. The Vulture harassment a few minutes ago sent Flash way ahead.
Honestly, what won this match was Flash's constant economy harassment with those vultures, those were about 4 to 5 effective drops, who not only killed a lot of probes, but also stopped mining for quite a few minutes.
The difference between spider and widow mines is that you have to specifically make widow mines one by one and with spider mines you get 3 and a vulture. Much more value for the money. Also, vultures are really fast and deploying the spider mines is easier. A widow mine is clunky and moving it around with a medivac requires a bit more skill.
Uhhh whoever told you that Bisu and Flash aren't pioneers were either lying or wrong. They pioneered tons of strategies (It's called the Bisu build, like c'mon) And more pioneers have come after them
Falcon Paladin But it’s definitely just as enjoyable At least it is for me, you have a great way of casting that just gets me so excited for the games and your reactions are just so good when things start getting hectic
Terran Mech in full force. The tank stacking looked quite wonky (18:41)... Was he trying to hop over instead of using the ramp or was it a mistake I wonder?
17:45 Bisu is down 20 supply. He has no map control. He's just barely hanging on. Mech armies are scary, and doubly so when your enemy has the supply advantage. He's dancing around his army trying to see if he can pick off anyone out of position, but he doesn't want to engage the main army.
Has Flash ever played SC2? I wonder if he would be as OP in that version. By the way, thanks for keeping on casting these Brood War games. They're really fun to watch.
He wasn't as successful in sc2 although he was still revered. One of the sc2 top players of all time (Maru) would say he respected Flash and thought Flash was better than him even though Flash was objectively inferior
When the terran goes for a huge mech army, why don't the opposing zerg/protoss switch to air units? Goliaths don't usually seem to be produced that much. Am I missing something?
that stasis at the end was targeted for the science vessel, it didn't need to get anything else because that was all the detection...kinda weird that he fired the other stasis into the tank mass instead of waiting for the other science vessels racing over to try to save the terran army from the invisible protoss army, arbiters can fire a stasis much faster than science vessels can fire an emp still not sure why sci vessels are the only one with a casting animation, defilers seem to have some sort of a delay too but it's duration is kinda random and always feels more like the unit is derping out than a casting time...come to think of it queens have a casting animation similar to a hydralisk attack but the delay is also similar to a hydralisk soooo.
Corsair also has very little starup lag on its disruption web, like the Arbiter's stasis. I think it's because Bliz didn't have ideas for cool animations on protoss ships' spells, so they skipped them.
I don't know who told you they are not pioneers but if Bisu obviously pioneered the bisu build. Also flash pioneered winning anything at all as terran which was hard at the time. Also the first to murder lategame carriers with goliath hold position micro back in some league in the late 2000's. Forgot which.
Am I just blind that gateways did not have those flashing/beeping/spinning animation as warping any unit? 9:57 is that a different sound for a dead observer? 15:12 there's a moment where Flash use scv as buffer A regular check on gas-leftovers might good though, to indicate whether the player has a problematic situation to continue on current bases?
Listen, I loved Life. He was such a good zergling herder. Not many could handle zerglings like Life could. Mass respect. But I heard he was a shyster with the government dealings and thats a kind of messling that doesnt need to be a part of Starcraft. War games exist so the real one doesnt have to ressussitate, however theres always a devils advocate Meh on politics,..... Hey at least in starcraft mistakes are shown rather than argued. Lol
Where did you get these games? I would like to watch bisu's game but can't find it. So I'm watching yours a lot (even I'm a Korean hahaha) Thank you for casting dude!
Fair combat would be Protoss vs Protoss,Zerg vs Zerg,Terran vs Terran. We already now that Flash has developed excellent combinations and tactics with ground Terran units and they are a bit overpowered. But let's see Flash Protoss vs Bisu Protoss and every other race. Then we will see the real capabilities of each player.
Nice to finally see some arbitor play although against flash and no use of high templar storm that is very effective against vulture and bile especially on that recall would have been game ending to storm the entrance and a couple reevers kill an entire army of vulture with minimum support. If your not flash that goon zealot basic gateway unit recall would've really sucked much worse than that.
Maybe if toss used like three or four cannons around his nexus to handle those annoying vultures I feel like would have helped a lot but it’s Bisu he should know this what do I know lol
I believe comsat doesn't work like in SC2 where you have to leave the area, but instead sticks to the unit like glue until the duration wears off. This map looks like a pathing nightmare. Not sure why anyone would want to play on it.
How rude, Why Bisu didn't call "GG" and just left the game? I think call a word, "GG" is 'tacit rule' for game players and literally played 'good game' each other, even a guy almost lost or messed a game. Whatever i sayin, i always enjoying your videos and casting, Falcon! :)
"Bisu kinda looks like he has map control though...." *10 seconds later* It's confirmed that Bisu does NOT have any form of map control Also, 2 base Terran vs Protoss is not really a disadvantage for Terran, depending on the build order. It seems quite clear you're trying to put your efforts into casting and maybe generating revenue? By all means, keep trying, but I would recommend taking some time to really learn the matchups and compositions so that you have a better read on map status etc. For example, Bisu's final engagement was terrible. Even though he got off a good couple of statis, the number of tanks and the spread was too good over an open area, plus the statis means that any other siege tank is not inflicting friendly fire damage. If bisu had managed to hit the top and middle cluster of tanks, I think that fight may have gone very differently. Still, keep progressing :)
Yep. Scv health to normal. Vultures to cost gas and fucking reduced dmg to tanks. I mean did you noticed how flash tanks the dragoons with workers, even across the map, becauce it takes 6 fucking shoots to kill it.
Damn these whinners are everywhere, LOL! Dude it was clearly the map advantage for Terran nothing to do with balance there - especially in this match. Also Protoss failed proxy. Have you even watched the game? Anyway ANY (even simple) balance patch would break the game again. I would rather play SC2 than "new rebalanced" SC1. Let SC1 be as we remember it. Otherwise it will turn into a SC2 clone with 12 units limit and blocking units...
Starcraft is an excellent example on why after a point, you shouldn't patch games. Trying to force the meta where you want it as a developer is obnoxious, disrespectful and ultimately a waste of time. Bisu could've won this game, but he didn't.

Vultures are a mineral-only unit. You mentioned not having a mineral dump, but Vultures are one.

Falcon Paladin, spider mines can detect cloaked ground units as they feel the vibration in the ground

on 9:04 (ingame time) dt killed the tank
glad someone said this
"dies with 0 kills!" as it kills a tank
Rewatching Falcon casts always makes me happy.
I'm not sure if I hate Terran, or if I hate Flash for being so good! Thanks for the casts, Falcon!
Artosis would have built more turrets against Arbiters ;D

Yeah I was thinking "build a cannon in the mineral line" and he never did, even after the first vulture drop

I would argue that both Flash and Bisu are both pioneers of their own stratagies.

I’m always perplexed at the number of likes you get. I feel under 15k is too little, and who even dislikes this? I can’t see any reason to dislike

Terran Mech in full force. The tank stacking looked quite wonky (18:41)... Was he trying to hop over instead of using the ramp or was it a mistake I wonder?
If it was in purpose, I'm guessing he was trying to get as much inland to the base as possible without going up the ramp.
11:30 workers in canon hover over the ground, thus not triggering them.
I'd love to see BoxeR in his prime vs Flash

BoxeR in his prime? WCG 2001, absolute monster. Flash was probably 10 years old back then.
