Yea, I only watch Brood War replays. I used to play about 4-6 hours a day back in the early 2000s, but am too old and slow to play now. I love watching these replays with the announcing.

I personally love it when you scroll around the map. Really like it when you zoom waaay out too since when we play we never get that perspective so its cool to see sometimes in the replays!
Ultraling was such a great combo in Brood War. Speed-upgraded Ultras could keep up with speedlings and it was ridiculous how fast they could move compared to SC2 ultras.

I love seeing Effort put the third command center behind minerals! That was sneaky, but maybe not super effective. Great play though from the winner. I thought I knew at 10 min and I was right. Got scared at twenty minutes that my chosen champion was being out-played, but then the loser ran out of dough. Phew! Lots of action. I enjoyed this game. GG!
I was introduce to this game in 99, and been playing on and off thru out the years. I understand the concept of the gane real well, but completely suck and never got better “ average apm “ 50 lol. I still love the game for its Mechanics, Balance, Control ,strategy, combo, and last not not leash. Watching broadcast video of Falcon Punch i mean Pally. Thanks for uploads my man! Hey Falcon! I remember that you were wondering a few times how this guy in Missle Turret can sit there and spin around a whole day... :) I can explain that. It is some kind of robot or cyborg. We know that, because when Missle Turret is done the supply stays the same - so this cannot be a human. I'm hope this helped! ;D
Whats crazy is that the Zerg player had 3/3 for his lings & Ultra’s before the 23 minute mark 😨... it’s so incredibly hard for bio to compete with fully upgraded Ultra’s. It’s like trying to run up a long steep slope with center blocks tied to your back & grease being poured down hill.
My PC isn't even good enough to play SC2, but I do enjoy BW quite a bit. I stopped watching SC2 after Husky stopped casting. I think the lack of siege tanks also killed the game for me.

I just watched Flash play but through the player's point of view.After 2 minutes my eyes started to hurt due to the high speed that they play.Cause in the matches on the channel you can only see the APM count
appreciate the bw replays, however i'd suggest that you pay more attention to tech switches and staging areas. you miss extremely important events while focusing on the middle of the map and mindlessly talking. e.g. while you were talking about the speedy ultras @21:00, you totally missed the drop at the 1 o'clock position that effectively ended flash's chance to win.
There is a Twitch Channel that plays all games from 2000 to 2012. Maybe you can check it out and maybe you find some games that you can show in the remastered version :)
Damn, I used to love BW. Now I realise it's just people smashing forces together with no attempt of strategy. The players are fighting the game more than they are fighting each other...
Does pigbaby (Protoss that won vs Bomber in WCS America 2014) still play games? Seen him once in a tournament and he's been rogue ever since. Was/is my favourite player.
why do they never repair units!? casters especially are actually doing work while they are just sitting there getting repaired and it's not like you get much energy from building new ones over repairing. ...maybe it's an action economy thing? that doesn't seem plausible but repairing is SO much cheaper than rebuilding even assuming lost mining time instead of overbuilt scvs
dude that guy beat flash... I spoke too early earlier. I think the only way you beat flash is to just grin and bear.. I imagine the players who go up against flash have to change their shirts afterword because of the sweat. Just go shirtless. I am so surprised he lost here. Half way into the game I was thinking flash had this in the bag as usual.
Effort might have the best ZVT I've ever seen im broodwar, he has defeated big names such as Flash, Light, Ample and Last, most of hiz zvts I've seen he's victorious, however, he doesn't seem to be that good in ZvP, Jaedong is like thr happy middlr, good against Protoss and Terran but Effort is probably better against terran.
Why no Ghosts in pro play?? (Writing this before watching the full thing so hopefully no Ghosts and I don't look stupid lol) I've seen many Terran pro matches and never seen a nuke dropped lol Just wondering.

is a lot changed from before? why not build some tanks and air unit to fight the zerg. and most of the zerg unit are ground units. he can radiate the science ball and fly around the zerglings and kill them all why not do that.

Flash could have irradiate all of the vessels and fly above the lings. He did also lose the tanks earlier and this had sealed the fate of the match

less admiring the battle and how pretty the units are, and more attention paid to keeping on top of major unit movement (in the minimap)
