Always good to see a 7.3 being properly cared for. I have run the newer Ford diesels and personally think they are garbage compared to the 7.3 that I had.

I did the updated HPOP lines and x-over a few years ago. Like you said, YMMV but I didn't notice a significant change.

As a lifelong Design Engineer, I can't help but cringe when I see the rats nest of worthless crap in that engine compartment.

One thing he didn’t mention cause their was enough on the threads already. Lubricate that o-ring just a bit. It can bind on that washer. Usually not an issue due to all the oil around the port already but something that should be noted.

Great video as usual. As a Toyota owner I love watch Ford, Chevy, and Dodge owners always re-engineering their trucks to use better designed after market products. I always get a kick out of it and learn a lot.

Yet you still haven't learned that you can't tow or haul any real weight with a toy-oh-ta "truck".

Are those the CNC Fab lines? Love the 7.3 content, I have an old girl with almost 500k still rolling down the highway.

Hello Blake! Pleasantly surprised for two videos recently from you. Thank you for the content. I do have an honest question. Given the space between your 7.3 videos and several being repair videos, I am not able to sense if this 7.3 is as reliable as you were anticipating it to be once the initial couple of repairs were done. Is it dependable as you had hoped it would be?

Maybe electric vehicles will save us all from this stuff, most of us can not figure all this crap out and crawl around under the hood

Don't worry, electric vehicles will have a whole new set of problems that you won't be able to fix...
