I've noticed that BuzzFeed videos are now mostly watched because of their staff (Ashly, Sara, Gaby, Allison, Andrew, Eugene, Keith, Ned, Zack, Quinta, Justin, Zach, Chris, Ella and many more), and not because of the video content. Like people are more excited to watch a video when "insert-favorite-buzzfeed-staff" is in the video, regardless of what the video is about.
Maybe because BuzzFeed staff are naturally good in acting. They all have different personalities that reflect each one of us and they're awesome. 👍
But I only watch Buzzfeed because of their content, but I've been noticing all these staff ships and staff likes and I've been so confused
Just like movies. There are movies I'll see because they seem interesting and there are movies I'll see just because Emma Stone is in them LOL. There's nothing wrong with watching something some "one" person is in solely because you like them. It a way to show your support as well.

Ellie Rasmussen That's not actually how that worked though, look up a video where they explain the dress phenomenon with science, it's really just an optical illusion created by the lighting and surroundings. It has nothing to do with which side of the brain you use more, because most people were able to eventually see white and gold as well as black and blue.

All the left brained people are complaining that there is no such thing as left vs. right and I'm over here just focused on the personality side of it. Stop over thinking it, it's just a way to explain personality. Creative Vs. Logical.
Yes, I'm sure this is true. Though people have differentiating personalities therefore "left brained and right brained" are terms used to describe ones type. Once again Creative Vs. Logical. Creative right/Logical left. Conservative right/Liberal left.

For a more accurate personality test thing, check out the four personality colours (orange, green, blue and gold).
Here's a brief synopsis of each colour:
Orange - outgoing, not very fearful, adventurous, struggles with structure and schedule, therefore often had a hard time in school academically.
Green - logical, thinks in numbers, sensful, can sometimes be slightly blind to emotion, doesn't like emotional topics, often good at things like math, considers possible outcomes of a plan before beginning to take those steps.
Blue - creative, loves "love/ infatuation" and romance, emotional, harmonious, whimsical, does not usually think logically, does not think too much about the future when making plans, caring.
Gold - responsible, loves organization/ organizing messes, hates messes, can be considered "boring" by others, hates adventures/ danger, loves structure and often thrives in education.
Often, people have a most dominant colour. I know some people who have done a huge quiz and found out that they were equally 2 or 3 colours with one falling shortly behind, but normally you will belong to one colour for the most part. You can google more about this, it's quite interesting...
Christian Readmond Why not both? I'm not so angered over the fact there is no such things as one person using all their right or left brain, more so I'm angered that its trying to label people in two specific groups which doesn't really work. Why can someone be both or neither? Why can't someone be liberal and logical or conservative and creative or again all of the above? There are many other more distinct groups you can put them in. There aren't just two groups you can categorize everyone into.
Willam I can agree with you. Surely you can have traits, morals, and beliefs in multiple catagorys. Though I am more creative I have logical fallacies. I do disagee with secludung one to a certain group or even lableling people at all. Everyone is different though I do like to know myself well and videos, articles, documentaries, and assessments that help me better understand the human brian as well as myself can be useful.

Interesting! I personally think everyone should know when you can be creative and let your emotions decide and when you really have to be logical about things. I say be creative while cooking food..blast music as you clean to make those tasks more fun..talk to a friend on the phone as you sweep the house..etc. that kind of creativity is ok and have at it.. however, lack of planning or not having ability to think through things is not a welcomed creativity because you will only find yourself disappointed and in trouble. Bryan murray Actually, they are not used equally. Obviously everyone uses both sides, but the side you use most depends on your dominant hand. I'm left-handed, which means I use the right side of my brain much more than the left side. Right-handed people use the left side the most.

That whole thing is a myth, right along there with "you only use about 10% of your brain" and "left-handed people use the right half of their brain more and right-handed people use the left half of their brain more". I think the point of the video is just to show the different personality types between "right- and left-brained" people.
Yeah. I believe it referrs to more of what personality-controlling things (Creativity, etc.) are in what part of the brain, so that's how you group those people, not that they use the left or right side more.
They mean which brain are you dominant in. For example I'm a person right brained dominant, but still excels in math. In a perfect world, you want to have a mix.

I am both. I have severe OCD and I need to be organized or i'm instantly stressed. I need things to be perfect. But otherwise I don't care about what I eat, as long as I enjoy the food, I eat as much as I want. I'm terrible at math and I am very much an introvert.
