Agents, the next target to be rescued is Jack Arnold, the wife of Mel Arnold.
However, don’t let that put you off, Jack holds a lot of valuable intel that is being extracted from the mobile SHD server, that was retrieved from Kenly College.
Since she has been gone, we’ve been struggling to access the server, and files have been going missing

I genuinely thought we'd be rescuing Jack from Kenley this time... That was my only disappointment.. I've said it before... This season the team has really stepped up things with the comms they're releasing during the manhunts. I'm loving the story we're getting and the wild plotting I get to do till more drop.
Watch the Recruiter be Ryan (character from the promotional trailers) from Division 1. He’ll have a lot to answer for
If I remember correctly, the last promotional thing he was part of was the Dark Zone showcase. It ended with him gunning down his teammates for loot and running off, never to be seen again.
After those last few comms I'm almost certain either Johnson or Mari is a traitor.

Hey Agents been AWOL for a while now, what I miss? Is DC still somewhat unstable? Cause if we cooking good, I’d gladly save up to play some more Div 2. I miss the cover shooting, even if you can just head glitch. Plus the door closing is really cool.
If you havnt played the season yet then you missed on a new exotic smg which is pretty nuts a new exotic chest which is boderline useless and incursions are back (1 so far) new brand set sucks but the new gear set can be fun but not as effective as eclipse
You also missed the most cracked AR in the game as of right now. The St. Elmo’s Engine from Year 5 Season 1. Def something to grind for in Countdown if you haven’t already.

Was it confirmed it was The Recruiter who gave Mari the comms at the zoo? I have no idea, just heard NGN say it near the end.
I also had to deal with a Quadcopter while hunting Romeo Two

Agent Santa, activated thanks to Clause 51, must show others that a Violent Night is no way to live. Joined by the Agent Pumpkin of Present, Agent Metalhead of the Past, & Future savvy Agent 404 they travel the streets of The USA letting everyone know tomorrow is a brighter day.
(I used the santa suit, metal head outfit, pumpkin & bluescreen masks for the agent names and spin on the Christmas spirits.)

I'm honestly so excited for the recruiter I have no idea who it could be but I'm leaning towards it not being Johnson weird little thought that popped up in my head while writing this but what if it's Mari it would be kinda funny but also not sure how that would fit into the story just a weird theory
Nat saying the assest is in place at the end of last season and Johnston randomly turning up out of nowhere (an agent who was shielded from the worst of it because he was protecting so rural facility) and have the remainder of his squad isn't about, kind of says something

I thought the “asset” was a BT tapped division communicator someone gave Mari since her rescue from Manning National Zoo and I thought, they were listening in to our communications that way.

fantastic vid, as always. I'm guessing the recruiter has to be someone from new york. I say that, only because of 1. where we are headed next manhunt 2. the roadmap stating that we would be going back to NYC 3. the codename of the next manhunt is Vanguard. I really feel like we may see some version of Keener come back, I dont know how, but it seems like Keener may have had a body double in WoNY. So my guess is Keener as the recruiter.

I have to admit I'm curious on how Vik manage to convince Manny to take him back instead of calling Kelso, or just kill him on the spot his personality alone makes people want to do that plus he did try to kill the agent.
More than anything I don't think it's Anderson becuase they're trying to hard to make us think it's Anderson. The last two seasons have been all about misdirection in what is actually happening. Cal and Nat have been two or more steps ahead of us, sometimes half a football field ahead, when it comes to whatever plan they're working on, and it makes no sense for the comms to so readily point to Anderson as the being the recruiter.
Now, is he working with Cal? Probably. And, as you say, in many ways that may make him the loyal agent as he's still on task for Homeland Security. We're working towards an amorphous goal of "making things better", but what does that really mean? We're taking out the groups we see as negative when it comes to restoring order, but if the biggest of those groups has been working towards a plan from the beginning that restores much of the way the country works, are we the rogues? Yes, we're focused more on small-scale activities, but is there a broader goal? The Division, as an organization, doesn't really seem to have an overarching goal. We send them in when things get so bad everything else falls apart. Okay. And what are they doing? Recruits to The Division don't have typical "works well with others" attributes. All the agents we've met have been very independent. Yes, Faye Lau was working towards restoring order in NYC, but was that more because she wanted to be able to track down what happened to her sister than any directive about making things work again? But Keener, Dragov, Kajika, Parnell, Conley, Kelso - they're all very independent doesn't manage authority well types. That may be great in trying to salvage a bad situation, but not so well when it comes to restoring order.
Keener thought that he was using the BT, but was he? We hadn't met Nat at that point, but it seems as though it was more likely she was using Keener than the other way around. Maybe not directly, but perhaps indirectly. After all, he pretty much eliminated much of the remaining Division element in NYC which had to be an impediment to whatever Nat and Cal are planning.
And what is their plan? They had Ellis as their puppet well before the events of the Green Poison. Supposedly. But did Cal help facilitate the green poison? Or did he merely take advantage of it? Nat certainly seemed a bit surprised that he'd survived, so whatever plan they had maybe wasn't about killing everyone with green poison. Although it does seem to be about Nat being in charge - which I still feel that Cal is only playing along with.
But yes. Anderson is too on the nose. He may be involved, and loyal to Homeland Security, but I don't believe he's The Recruiter.

Honestly I think that the True Sons is the new JTF, if your theory about the duality of the Division bears fruit, if there is a new president, and we're technically the rogues. But then again I also feel strongly that General Andersons absence currently might show that he could be having second thoughts about joining the Black Tusk considering that their view of how America should be ran does not suit the view of the True Sons as a faction, even after Ridgeway's death. Even Morozova wanted the same exact thing Ridgeway did, and so did Anderson eventually. Its not far fetched to think that maybe the True Sons could also be our way in, like the Recruiter.
Thanks for another great video. Just a thought from the end of last season. What if the asset they put in place IS the SHD server - after they tinkered with it.
As someone who doesn’t really read the books or other material for this franchise I have a list of suspicious people who could be the recruiter or affiliated with the plot surrounding us
Agent Johnson naturally comes to mind, new/old guy who after all this time suddenly came back and we’ve received a lot of intel regarding him prior that shows a bit of what he’s been up to as of recent
That one agent from the tutorial and the pentagon: this one is really only a filler choice considering in one of the dev dives they mentioned that the recruiter being smaller framed and shrouded behind a cloak was intentional and this other agent really hasn’t appeared very often (at all really)
Mel Arnold: I don’t think Mel is the recruiter in any way, I just think it’s really weird how this guy who’s not affiliated with the military or the shed in any capacity is suddenly familiar with how a division coordinator and their subsequent agents get intel, missions, equipment, etc. As well as the whole “stop chasing a conspiracy that isn’t there” speech he gave to manny either shows that he’s oblivious to the broader surroundings that are occurring, or he’s a willing or unwilling tool to get manny to stop asking questions and focus on what’s directly in front of him (even though we know that the situation is far more complicated than that).

It’s Johnson!!!!! It would be the perfect out. Because, he’s been gone for so long that he’s had time to write his own story in all this, to include going rogue with the warlords of New York!

My theory is that The recruiter could be our division agent from division 1 we don't know what happened to our agent when we started division 2

Has anyone had the glitch (I'm assuming) that after you rescue Jack, then talk to her, it will still come up that you need to talk with her. Is there any way to fix that?

Absolutly not lol. In the recruiter artwork and in the game the recruiter's eyes are in normal condition,he doesn't wear an eyepatch like faye. And the newest comms pretty much confirm that the recruiter is a dude.

As far as who's been messing up the mobile shade server. I never trusted Wally and still don't. Their comms with the therapist were particularly sus. Talks about people not noticing facades untill its far too late. Wally is guilty about something.
I think its pretty obvious Johnson is the recruiter, why the hell is he shepherding us on these rescues? By this point our agents are well tested and can be trusted to complete the mission, why so much handholding and shadowing?

@jackthorton10 if we're talking about Wally, yeah, also consider who would have the knowledge as far as inflicting the right amount of damage as to not completely destroy it. Mari is a hydroponics expert not a technician I can really only see an agent or Someone who has had hands on with the server (Wally) doing so
Have 2 theories. Either they set him up as a replacement for manny (Either stepping down due to becoming a dad or death) or as the recruiter. And wally is hiding something not recruiter related- my guess is that she has somthing to do with the ortiz siblings
