He isn't necessarily one of our favourite people, and even has a history of screwing us over… but he is a member of our community, and will be responsible for stabilising power in the settlement, just in time for winter.

I think the first time we heard of "Birdie" was in the Escalation Apparel event. Most of the outfits referenced known Division agents, but Birdie was the odd one out. There were no known agents with that name at that time. Guess that outfit was foreshadowing Vik's sister, since she was able to hack into the SHD Network.

I enjoy these comms, Vik has gone from an asshole that can’t be trusted, to a dude who was just caught in the middle. Dudes sarcastic, of course he’s gonna come off as an asshat especially after the hand he’s been dealt between us and the BT. Honestly, the sarcasm part is most likely a mental defense mechanism from thinking about how screwed things really are. I see him becoming the voice of reason out of all the madness and a sorta-redemption arc in the coming seasons.

IMO I would have liked it if Vik was the person we were trying to rescue for the final mission, instead of the completely new character of Birdie. She just came off as way too condescending during the mission and it would have been nice if during part of the final mission we stole the launch codes for the mortars and had the moment of rescuing Vik including a bit about trusting him to watch our back again instead of what we got. To me it just feels Birdie’s introduction as a character is way too rushed, as at least Wally had some comms leading up to her reveal and their was character connection to Manny, whereas the first time I find out about Birdie and have to consider her important is when Vik tells us to go and get his sister! B*tch last time we were face to face you threw me to the Hyenas, now you’re telling me to go get your sister from a Black Tusk stronghold? Said sister is also a bit of an assh*le!
She seems to just be another token ubisoft bestest ever female character.
And she has alot of Intel on them even their base but won't tell

The BTSU is a large scale highly advanced military corporation and you’re telling me that they don’t have people smart enough to solve your infrastructure problems! Last I checked Trig was a genius so why are you dragging a civilian with little ties to your faction in and out of your super secret bunker! Better yet if she is the only one who can fix it, keep her there!

I think they over did it in my opinion for those who usually solo for the story. We only got 10 minutes to kill him and there are two phases. We also must always sacrifice around 3 minutes for each time his armor reach 1/3 of its mark to wait for his SHD to turn off so players must speed run the 1st phase to have enough time to kill him in phase 2. His instant kill/2 shot mechanic slows the player down more since as a solo he only targets you thus you got to wait until he moves to a spot where he cannot shot you when trying to destroy the base and the constant disable SHD tech prevents players from accessing anything that could distract him or stun him and the adds.
@@orrthehunter I get that it's pretty hard but I think that's why I like it so much but also for me it was more so I needed to lower the difficulty and rearrange my build with weapons I'm more comfortable with but once I did that I was able to beat it during my first or second try I learned to just keep one add alive and avoid him when possible

There's a bug in Tango Two bounty in this manhunt. I'm not able to do the mission. It keep saying something about "Garage Stash" mission need to be completed but that's the bounty (Tango Two) mission. A lot of people had the same issue
It's a hidden side mission. You need to clear it since the bounty is in that area

@@cerromeceo West End. In a Building between Overgrowth and New Venice Control Points. Look for an open field with a big fire pit inbetween the 2 control points and find a door that leads downstairs.
Almost EVERY bounty location is tied to side mission if u didnt do them before you simply cant enter or it will not show manhunt at all.
@libor2010 no its not. All the manhunt missions are cut and paste. Just follow the story and do the mission. It's that simple. This is no different 6 ever manhunt. It's a bug that need to be fixed

I’d be cool if for the next manhunt instead of hunting bad guys or rescuing hostages, we could investigate and locate new peoples whereabouts and find them before the black tusk finds them
NGN I must warn you about going after your final target the recruiter (no spoilers just a warning) the recruiter won’t go down without a fight so expect insane fighting against true sons and black tusk cuss this time they really don’t mess around. You need a full squad to help you take down the recruiter.
You don't need a full squad i did it solo just fine but i will recommend Scorpio makes it alot easier

Reset ur world to normal (for speed) and reset manhunt .
Log out and back in at the castle wait for the side missions to finish loading
Do not interact with any rescued people , and do the manhunts solo . After each rescue interact with that person only and it should unlock correctly . Set your group to private also helps stop players joining you
Didn't work for me . Reset the manhunt 10x and still stuck with the " Complete Garage Stash Mission first " BS after doing Riverside .
The Historic District Attack, by any chance, did you encounter 3 rogue agents fighting against the true sons there?

You mentioned in the text that Birdie is Vik's sister, but she's actually Manny's sister. And, unlike Manny, she really seems to have her head screwed on straight and has a lot of information about how things are working. As becomes very obvious during the Recruiter manhunt mission. (ETA - Obviously wrong in this, but the fact that what Vik says at the end of the mission is a line that Manny, or Johnson this season, would normally use in that it's an order, it sounds more like Manny than Vik, and the fact that Birdie is a different race than Vik, is what threw me off.)
This "manhunt" went really quickly. Even the mission itself was quite short. Basically just 4 areas with a couple of connecting rooms in which you run into a couple of ads. This is much shorter than any of the others, although of course there is the big season ending mission upcoming which is a lot longer. I did like the fact that you're doing Bank HQ backwards again, which is just strange, although on my first run I encountered an issue where the ads up on the catwalks didn't come down and I couldn't figure out how to get up to kill them. Finally managed to make it work, though it was a bit finicky.
I did like that Agent Johnson really didn't seem to like Vik, and the sarcastic comments that he was making about him in the audio clips. Although, you also have to wonder if that's simply because he doesn't like Vik or for another reason entirely. I guess we can speculate on that one. I personally think that it's just because nobody likes Vik.
But this is also weird. Manny's sister is some sort of technology genius who was obviously working closely with Vik well before the green poison. But Manny didn't seem to know anything about Vik before we encountered him looking to get back some batteries. That doesn't really track. We also had a Birdie previously as part of the General Anderson manhunt, Birdie Masterson, although she was a BTSU sniper. If I recall you made a video with all the bird puns - of which I identified a good number. So it's a bit confusing, and a bit of ret-conning, to even get the whole Birdie thing to work along with Vik. Also, apart from just being the owner of a chain of retail stores that sold batteries, suddenly Vik is a defense contractor that is working to pitch equipment to the Director of Homeland Security? Bit of a jump!
The comms also seem to have some very specific technology requirements for the system that Cal wants. Solar, hydro, wind, or geothermal powered, depending on location, can power automated turrets and CMC machines, and need minimal maintenance. What exactly is it that Cal needs? This is much bigger than a mobile SHD server, or even the power for the SHD network. This is some very specific technology that is different than anything that li'l ol' Nat is looking for. She just wants solar powered technology to help her teams. Cal wants something MUCH bigger. I mean automated turrets and CMC devices indicates a manufacturing and defense capability. Is this for the Hunter program? Or something much bigger. Because it feels like, whatever this is, it's WAY too big for a Hunter to lug around. You'd need multiple semi-trailers to transport something like that. I guess it's something that we'll learn more about in the future. Maybe next season.
Anyway, cheers for getting this done so quickly! Will be interesting to see how your edits work on the Recruiter mission. I know I personally died about 7 times in the last area before finally managing to make it through. Then came back with a character with a 70% PFE build and waltzed through it. Sounds like your first run was more like mine. Will the video reflect that? 😁🤪😂

Portable self-sustaining power generation and storage, low to no maintenance system, system operated automated turrets and CNC machining automation...if I were to infer on potential use, I think McManus wasn't planning to incorporate this into some mobile command center or something nor some component of the institutional SHD system...if consideration was as some sort of semi-mobile thing. Considering the developers and storyline, would understand and agree that typically, rather inconspicuous but structurally out of context fragments of information are deliberate drops hinting at future elements is a consistent, tried and true formula they use to create more story depth that we see from this studio. And considering the totality of things, for the pace of action we see devs typically script out, less inclined to future challenges developed from a map oriented obstacle like a Splinter Cell or Perfect Dark but I would agree that it'd be a more dynamic element challenge, especially as it's easier to create than an expansive map level, but I digress. And so going back to the Malik power system, I'd probably imagine something of that sort integrated as part of a weapons system or platform.
Regarding McManus as SecDef, given the impressions we can gleam from him as to what his motivations are and possible personality, I'd imagine if he was a real person that he'd likely be of a very seasoned and competent commanding officer background and would've likely had been high up the command chain...probably would've been like at least a 2-star and background probably from something like 75th, SOCOM, SOF, or one of the J's or SMU or tier groups. And we can see this in manifest considering the story in which, he was the one that had created the SHD and supporting elements to fulfill the PEO with Directive 51. And so, he would be the type of person that acted while strategically offensive frame concentrated on tactical and operational level emphasizing on small, autonomous, highly trained and equipped units and squads reinforced with operational level offensive weapons platforms much like we see in the US military with the Army ground force's Mechanized Armor typically having their thrusts supported by an operation level asset like weapons systems HIMARS, MFP, or Apaches saturating the battlefield. And so, like that, the storyline SecDef would probably be inclined to have something over encompassing like the thing it was called the razorback or something. It had automated defenses and would send out various AI-controlled quadrotor drones. I wouldn't be surprised if an upgraded version of that deployed AI-controlled, semi-autonomous or maybe tethered aerial drones of the quadrotor variety, UCAVs or up and then land drones like war hounds (or whatever the game version of the Q-UGV or AGSV is) or up. Anyways, I've probably spent way too much in consideration of this random thought, lol.

Brian Johnson, the guy from e3 gameplay. Can someone explain to me, how the fck did he become a hunter? What was a reason making him a hunter? So far I'm seeing piss-poor story writing.
Best answer I have is that he was always a hunter as it said he went from a NSA facility to DC.
The reason why he remains a hunter could be because the last president told the Division to work with/for the Black Tusk and with that as his logic it would explain why he considers us off mission. Maybe add on how Cal showing Black Tusks PR campaign, so he doesn't understand why we resist them so fiercely or maybe he's just caught in the "Good soldiers follow orders" Mentality.
Can't disagree about the bad writing I mean if we should get forced to kill one of our friends it should be Rhodes because then it wouldn't just be "I was evil the entire time" or "I was pretending to be evil the entire time."
