I geeked out when I heard this in theatres. I thought to myself, they’re tributing Jerry Goldsmith’s alien theme. I always thought this leitmotif within the original film was the main theme. This movie made it clear that it was. I think proper alien fans would have been surprised when they heard that lush and classic theme.
Great horror films in space, which proves to us that in the past the films were much better, and they were scary, nothing to do with cinema these days, forget the remakes etc, the sequels are to shit.
