@MrJeremyJay yeah I know he is a surrealist director. I personally think it was a pretty decent film, although it is still the weakest in the original quadrilogy.
John Frizzells soundtrack is very good! It has a really deep atmosfear :) I am 36 now and still listen to this music since around 20 years! appreciate this edit!
If we had another Aliens movie that was somewhere in the middle between the second movie and this - the fourth movie's depictions of evil, messed up biology, the cynicism of humanity, the strange and dark humor, but also had the second movie's cold, oppressive, ruthless atmosphere, the xenomorphs being depicted as less intelligent animals and more an ethereal force of nature, the utter hopelessness, taking proper losses from the core group and with it raising the stakes and most of the core group being relatable characters - then we'd have a true banger! One can dream they'll make a good one and not some B movie or another artsy flick...
The bunch of characters is so tasty, i feel without the failure of the 3rd, this one would and should be much more enjoyed, to me, this one is the third anyway. John Frizzell??!! Who that? I feel some Howard Shore's shade here..
I unironically and unapologetically love Alien Resurrection. One day it’ll get the credit it deserves for being a really fun movie
I agree, it may be the most over the top, and cartoonishly violent film in the series but it is also in a way the scariest.

This score has stuck with me since I watched the movie I love it!!
I love the aesthetic of this film
John Frizzell is a musical genius.

I have a soft spot for this movie. Mostly cause of the aesthetic.

Thank you so much for this one! Alien Resurrection is probably my favourite score of the series.
That's high praise. All four definitely have strong scores.
Merci à vous pour la découverte.

7:17 to 8:30 a little throwback to the original Alien ❤
So awesome. Indeed, that tune is a requirement for any film featuring the Alien, even Alien Covenant plays it.
I love the track 'they swim'
Deep Rising vibes,in the brass section
Great work!
I can 'see' the film by the music...🎉
What made you want to use music from Alien 1? It was a pleasant surprise to hear it pop up
on the other hand, if Frizzell references the original Alien in his score, I never knew that!
Yes, all comes from Alien 4. He has reprised Alien 1 themes and rescored it on his own style.
My Favorite is Alien 3 OST, what a masterpice!!!
ALIEN 5
❤✌🏼
