i needed this today. in heart i know for sure his way is the only way the world might see or say things thinking it would change, not your fight. between evil and good not our fight. i can't see who is weed or wheat. is best to believe in him and we are saved. we are weak but i know he is our strength. when you trying to pull some weed another will pull you out too. .. love never fails.

For me it took a ton of patience, persistence, prayer, and lots of time in the Word. For me things changed so slowly, but one day, after 4 or 5 years, I stopped to look at what the Spirit had been doing and was just completely and uterly amazed.

I struggle with the same thing. Paul addresses this issue in himself in Romans 7:15 - 20, which I find comforting. You're not alone, brother, we're all in the same boat

Thank you! I am more excited than ever. It IS heartbreaking at times. Reminds me now of last year when we got home and discovered our lovely nurtured flowers and all of the fruit on our beloved fruit trees were gone because the deer had broken down our fence. Fires had pushed more deer into our area and they were crazy with fear and hunger. But all the loving work, and money put into our yard for winter food was gone! But, you know, we had to look beyond it for the greater possible good. This year we had fruit, though stunted by smoke again, worse (another metaphor), this year, we shared better. More than ever i see what you illuminated to be more evident than in 2011. Your message brought more hope and great reminders. It made me excited about the future and wanting to be a part of sharing the Gospel not only to the Lost, but to our believing community who may have forgotten our prime mission and joy! It is not about forcing The Kingdom or our rights, which as Christ followers, we don't have, but it is all about our commission that began in Genesis and was boosted by Christ, and the Apostles, by ultimate demonstration and preaching. Thank you! I think my batteries are now upgraded to lithium!

Wow. I keep thinking I have heard the best sermon ever and they just keep getting better. Starts off almost light hearted and flippant and ends facing the toughest questions anyone must deal with. The challenge is not just to hear but to put this in action. Tim appears to be able to do this in an encouraging manner. Why is this man not touring the world speaking a much needed message? But please don't sell out to Hillsong or Bethel.

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares represent believers and unbelievers living together during the interim age of the Church. The enemy who sowed tares represents Satan who thrives in darkness and secrecy. At the end of the age (end of the Tribulation) Jesus will separate the believers from the unbelievers. This means it will be difficult to discern believers from unbelievers, even within the Church.

It does not say the kingdom of God has "come" but it is "near" "at hand", the translation you have is bad. "Repentance of sins" is wrong, purely a dangerous translation and changes the meaning of how salvation takes place. The meaning is that they (Jews) would think again (repent) regarding the prophecies about who their Messiah would be. After the crucifixion, it means to think again (repent) and realize that they crucified the Messiah, so that their sin could be forgiven. You see, Jesus was never crowned king by his people (Israel) and therefore the kingdom of God never came, this is their great sin. But they will eventually call him nationally. The word that is sown (i believe) is to believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus the christ FOR the forgiveness of sins. Then when you believe, you pass from death to eternal life. Sure, good works should reflect our faith, but that's not what saves. However, it is interpreted as dead faith if you have no good works, but it does not mean eternal death. Unbelievers may have many good works and behold, it does not save them. How does the Lord judge, all are sinners and there is no good? What saves?
"But shall the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?"
Already but not yet is a vague phrase and doesn't really say anything. However, it is grounded in replacement theology, which bothers me. Other than that, the Bible project is good, simple and nicely done.

1st: Mk 1:15 "repent of your sins"?! not true!!! 2nd: weed is not about the current state of the world but the false teaching! (hear!)
