@@carlinmuccular I agree… Unfortunately, almost everything we do cost money. Even in the church. I lead worship in a church and there is a cost associated with it. PA systems so people can hear clearly, the strings on my guitar, pics, microphones, drum sticks, and I could go on and on. And that is just concerning my ministry. So I guess the point I’m trying to make is that I would rather support the work dedicated to God than futile other things that will be burned away and lost. There is a reason for the tithe, to support and continue the ministry work of the believers. So if these guys can earn a little from adds, and put it to good use like these videos… I’m all for it.
A easier way to understand kingdom is some parables
Luk 19:12 ISV So he said, “A prince went to a distant country to be appointed king and then to return.
Luk 19:14 ISV But the citizens of his country hated him and sent a delegation to follow him and to announce, ‘We don’t want this man to rule over us!’
Luk 19:15 ISV “After he was appointed king, the prince came back. He ordered the servants to whom he had given the money to be called so he could find out what they had earned by investing.
Luk 19:27 ISV But as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king-bring them here and slaughter them in my presence!’”
Yeshua ascends into heaven on a cloud is appointed king and returns on a cloud in judgment in AD70 and slaughters the unbelieving Jews who rejected him as king and preferred Caesar Mat 3:10 ISV The ax already lies against the roots of the trees. So every tree that isn’t producing good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 3:12 ISV His winnowing fork is in his hand. He will clean up his threshing floor and gather his grain into the barn, but he will burn the chaff with inextinguishable fire.”
They were chaff and were burned up in AD70
He brought in the new covenant,
Heb 8:13 ISV In speaking of a “new” covenant, he has made the first one obsolete, and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
It disappeared in AD70 when they received their salvation
Heb 9:28 ISV so the Messiah was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people. And he will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly wait for him.

The Mosaic old covenant was the law but we are now under the new,and the kingdom is within you😊

Without Jesus we would never know the fulness of God. Jesus is the key to the universe for “all things have been created through him” So I’m waiting on Jesus. He gives me strength. As a single mother things aren’t isn’t easy on me. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I’m desperately struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need to get by, and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully, God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. Please pray for me and my children.
Father God You are a God of healing. Of Life, Health Wealth and Strength. Lord, all might power glory and dominion belongs to you and I right now I am asking in Jesus name that you would forgive I and my sister here of all our sins transgressions and iniquities. We know that our faults are always before us and it’s only by the blood of Jesus that we are forgiven and made whole. Lord thank you for your forgiveness and the sacrifice you have made for us!
Father God, by the grace and mercy of Lord Jesus I am asking that You move in her situation in the ways only You can. Lord please show her and her babies mercy and kindness. Show them favor and promotion. Lord I have no doubt that you have a position made just for HER in Your perfect world. This whole earth belongs to You and You alone and I pray Lord Jesus that you would bless her in both earthly and spiritual favor. In Jesus name I pray amen.

This is blowing my mind. I have been seeking to understand more on sovereignty and the kingdom… this is where I now believe God was leading me. It makes sense, to me, that God is the owner and we are the stewards. So we walk with Him and fulfill our purpose etc, we walk contrary to Him and we struggle or just walk in darkness 🤯🤯🤯

Jesus was presenting the kingdom of God to His Jewish brothers first and He was rejected and crucified. We are NOT in the kingdom of God/heaven now but we will be after the end times 7 year tribulation period at Jesus's 2nd coming. That's why Jesus told us to pray "thy kingdom come". When one studies the Bible in terms of "eras" or "dispensations" the distinction between "kingdom of God" and "church age" become very clear.

Of course there are many more verses, but this couldn’t be plainer that the kingdom is here and now
I would love to see a series of discussions with people struggling to believe - but who want to. The topics could center on biblical themes that people have difficulty understanding/believing with Tim and John providing context/support from biblical and other supportive writings in biblical times. I’m one of those people and I regularly watch your content and Tim’s lectures.
This would be amazing to listen, for us who haven't fully committed but still wish to learn more.
Historical facts are an important part of believing the Gospel, but God has fashioned the process so that mere intellectual knowledge is insufficient. Both faith and reason come together in the Christian commitment. Blessings to you on your journey toward Christ.

What did it for me was seeing the actual archeological evidence of bible narratives. The proof is there in the land. Once you see noahs ark in turkey, the destroyed remains of sodom and gomarah, the real mount sinai, etc its hard to deny the biblical text. Ron Wyatts work really did it for me. Makes the bible come alive in your hands

The word "boredom" that Tim finally offered is the best way I have heard to understand what the Kingdom of God is at hand.

This you’ll never fulfil the Scriptures until you understand Genesis 1:2. how did the water get there before the creation story. The story starts off with water in the universe surrounded by the Spirit of God. It is already there please explain. Also why have they changed Genesis 1:28 KJV replenish the earth, in all other alternative motive Bibles. See Job 38:30. It would be like knowing more about an Egyptian pharaoh than we did 500 years ago because we now have more artifacts. Does this make sense to you?

The kingdom had to be established before all of them died.
James was killed sometime in the 40’s. Paul was killed sometime in the early 60’s. Peter was crucified head down sometime in the mid 60’s.
All of the apostles met a violent death, with the exception of the apostle John, who was banished to the lsland of Patmos in the year 96.
John himself died a natural death in about the year 99.
Therefore, the kingdom had to be established sometime between the year 30, and the year 99, in the lifetime of those apostles.
If you’re trying to tell me that the kingdom is not here, then, you’re going to have to produce some apostles that are over 2000 years old.
Because Jesus said that the kingdom would be established in the lifetime of some of those apostles.
The reason we don’t know it:
Is because, “We don’t know what the church is.”
“We don’t know what the kingdom is.”
Because we don’t study God’s Law.
EITHER THE CHURCH HAS ALREADY COME:
OR. “WE HAVE SOME AWFULLY OLD APOSTLES RUNNING AROUND OUT THERE.”

Thanks for this. We are the image and likeness of GOD. That’s why the ‘powers’ against us delight in our misery and death. Fortunately, Jesus Christ sacrificed himself with full consent because he loves and trusts Heavenly Father’s will to save humanity from death. He became the precedent for what is to come, basically a body born of spirit and water and to live with so much love that it will cancel out all the misery and pain we experience on this present Earth. 🙂 It honestly sounds like very good contract. Fully paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. The ONLY sacrifice acceptable to GOD.

Myles Munroe taught a lot about Kingdom perspective. Not preached much anywhere since most of us do not live in a kingdom or under Kingdom rule. It was Israel that asked to have an Earthly person King like everybody else when it was God's desire to teach them through Prophets. When Jesus comes back he will already have his cabinet members picked out, and he'll have loyal subjects/ citizens to rule over when he didn't have that the first time he came. The Bible says we will be priests and kings to be coheirs with him. He's not coming to take anything away from us except Satan's demonic rule.
No one will ever again be able to say "the devil made me do it". God gave authority to man to rule the world. He'll not be taking that away. Jesus is not coming to work it all by himself. One man, Adam, gave it away and it was everybody's loss. One man took it back, Jesus, and it will be everybody's gain.

I, as a Westerner, of course, still need to research how a "kingdom" works; however, when it comes to the "Kingdom of God," I have yet to find anything better than the teachings on this subject from Dr. Myles Munroe. I encourage All to look into those sermons and even his books. But I suggest getting something to take notes prepared before you press play; you'll wish that you had!

Thanks for another great video. The section at 9:20 where you talk about people understanding the Kingdom as being a "place". I think this is the correct interpretation. Rule or reign it doesn't matter. They both require a people and place to do so. It largely comes from Jesus statement in his back and forth with Pilot in John 18. My kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom was of this world my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews - but now my kingdom is not of this realm." That last "now" is also interesting as it would appear he is saying it isn't currently of this world - but wait - it will be. In Acts of the apostles we see that his kingdom now IS of this realm. Acts 2 is kind of like the establishment of a military "beachhead". The troop carriers have at last arrived and are setting up a command outpost. Now the battle begins in earnest to take back the lands of the earth by the force of his power. If you want to really understand the concept simply look at the Ukraine. Its a land currently under attack by an outside force trying to invade and take it and claim it as its own - in this case we would say by a malevolent or demonic actor. Whoever wins the battle - claims the land and has "dominion" or "rulership" over it. Same is true in the spiritual battle though obviously we see Jesus not as a demonic oppressive dictator - but as a benevolent liberator. He is the "moses" leading people out of Egypt. We are meant to be the "moses" for the kingdom. Who "take back land" but primarily the "people". Thats the kingdoms initiative and the Royal Task.
Love this podcast and series! A minor, but significant point: When referencing "kingdom of heaven" as same as saying kingdom of God, maybe you might be missing that throughout Matthew's gospel - "heaven" is in the plural in the Greek, i.e. "kingdom of the heavens." And in Jewish culture my understanding is there were multiple heavens (Paul and 3rd heaven?). In any case, "kingdom of the heavens" also communicates the nearness of God. Dallas Willard in "The Divine Conspiracy" addresses this in chapter 3 as I recall.

@@Tammyp1766 Hi Tammy. In the New Testament letter of 1 John (chapter 4), the Apostle says that "We love because he (God) first loved us." God's love is far greater than any love we could generate--directed either toward ourselves or others--on our own. It's a divinely powerful love. How could we possibly, through our own efforts, surpass the love God has displayed to us in Christ? Blessings to you.

If you think it makes sense, we must not only believe it ourselves, but also spread it to more people. Evangelism is not only the job of pastors, but also the responsibility of every believer. This is also the aspect that the Lord values most when ascending to the kingdom of heaven.
Thank you for your teaching Every time Jesus mentioned the Kingdom of God is associated with an action such as a mustard seed that grows, or a hidden treasure that requires to be sought, or bread yeast that grows, or oil in lamps, vineyard workers, king clearing debt. This concept is easier to understand for Catholics as the rosary is prayed, this is supposed to be the theme.

If “dom” means state, like boredom = state of being bored. Perhaps dominion is best understood as the ability to exert your “state” (spiritual/moral etc.) over your area of influence.
Humans were meant to exert our influence by reflecting God’s image but have instead exerted our sinful “state” over creation.
