      @@ThisMusicIsToogood There's lots of those kinds of apartment in Japan. Especially if they're old like this one. Apparently, japanese like new apartments and old ones are much harder to rent.

    Shouldn't te owner have to fix the water heater for kitchen sink. Everything should work when you move in a new apartment.

      That’s what I was thinking, especially something as important as hot water. Like my new apartment came furnished, and I don’t like the mattress, they are willing to replace it.

      Agreed. Ask your real estate agent about that. You're responsible for appliances, aircon and furnishings--even light fixtures in some places, but basic utilities should be in working order.

      I mostly used Suumo! I used other websites like Gaijinpot, Yolo Japan and Goodroom to search for apartments.

    Why is this so cheap? Is this a distressed property? Maybe it is because everything is so new. But still that is an amazing deal.

    • @AngiesTokyoDiary

      Probably because the building is very old

    • @alienbunker
      @alienbunker 14 днів тому

      Old apartments are cheap in Japan.
      They are much harder to rent, and japanese prefer new ones.
      also, old buildings tend to freeze and boil on summer and winter.
