Remember seeing this as a kid, back around 2009/2010, could never find it again. Over the years I’d occasionally go digging, always to no avail. And now…a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
I remember watching this a long time ago. The 2000s or the early 2010s do even seem to be like a galaxy far, far away. I love this kind of series. The simple tools of machinima, the surprisingly good writing and voice acting, the radiating passion behind the project.
Even without the nostalgia glasses this still holds up REALLY well. The writing and voice acting is really good for a fan film in battlefront 2. These guys did a great job. This aged really well.
@@LordVader1094 I'm not joking, I'm being very genuine. This isn't a matter of feeling, of fact and logic. Star Wars Fan Films are in a different category from all other fan-fiction productions. Star Wars fans, at least, the ones who are fervent enough to read and play all source materials; including novels, novellas, 'Dark Horse's Star Wars: Tales', and video games. Committing these media to memory, and dissecting them to understand why they like it so much with deduction and logic. Deduction and logic is what current administration of LucasFilm lack, as well as vision when they made the sequel trilogy. This isn't as good as Andor, but, it is in the same category! P.S. It should also be mentioned, while the Prequel trilogy is full of holes, it still stands better than current-day star wars. Red-Letter-Media, Mauler, WOLF, these internet personalities berated the prequels because they love star wars; and even hold the prequel trilogy to a degree of reverence because of it. To be a fan, is to be critical.
I wish the next episode of IMPS would come out already. 2 of my friends who watched the original episode with me, and a couple of the actors already died so can't see it with me.
@@LoganOX7 That's all Disney's doing. Back when George Lucas had rights to Star Wars, he allowed anyone to use the Star Wars Soundscore library with no fees for licensing.
i thought this was season 2 dropping out of nowhere so this genuinely jumpscared me. i tried making a bf2 machinima but good lord is it difficult when you arent a literal developer of the game like the clone apart creators were lol
I always dreamed of making Star Wars machinima type videos, what ideas did you have? What did you try to make? I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to make a series like this.
my head cannon is that danson and team end up working with the alliance and help them locate plans to the second death star. Ultimately their journey ends with the rebellion being victorious and them helping out on endor - where han and leia are in the back entrance, danson and team (somehow being teleported...again) end up distracting the front entrance with everyone running around trying to find the clone trooper (reason why more reinforcements couldn't go to the back entrance) with the explosion teleporting them into the future: in the new republic, where the empire is now the new rebellion. More chasing and shenanigans happen when trying to find out whats happened since then, with danson decide that he's tired of trying purpose and belonging, that despite being a clone, he can be his own person. Danson and friends retire their uniform and depart for naboo. final cut scene post credits: rook stands by the graves of the now dead clones 25 years later, rook decides to no longer charge his battery after feeling lonely. the series ends with him laying down and looking towards the stars.
God, I remember watching this when I was younger and searching again and couldn't ever find it. Thank you! When I have the time, I will finally re watch it.
I always some how come back to watching this throughout the year's i love this series it's sad it's not getting a season 2 but with youtube as it is it probably would get copyrighted and striked to oblivion
Bloody brilliant, I just came across this by accident. I remember the day I bought this game on the N64 with my paper round money. This is hilarious. Im so glad I got to watch this 😂👍🏴
The fact someone actually made a fan film using the OG Battlefront series as a template and even borrowing some gameplay moments. 😂 Still better than current Star Wars canon.
I think there was this, and another series I could never find. I think the other one had a Mc named Francis? And the villan was a jet trooper idk. BUT HOLY SHIT THE NOSTALGIA JUST SEEING THIS IS ASTONISHING
I was watching this in 2007 or 2008 when I was a kid It was aborted, then they came back in 2010, I was very happy with it I wish they started Season 2 too
One day, thousands will be here...
Hopefully soon
This show was amazing!
That day is now
It’s happening lol
We never left
Doubt it. Star Wars is pretty much dead.
This classic Fan Machinima has more soul then most of Disney star wars catalogue.
Andor was pretty damn good, but I think that was an accident.
Before the Bad Batch there was…Danson Delta 40!
Can't stand that terrible animation of the people on the show they look like the nightmare before Christmas

My god, The Acolyte, Last Jedi, Force Awakens, none of them aren't even in the same league of writing with this.

I remember watching this during elementary school.
In Elementary all I had was Digimon
Basically it’s a version of Red vs Blue never get old 😂
This and I.M.P.S the relentless are such a nostalgia trip
I'm glad I.M.P.S is still going.

Rejoice brothers, as the algorithm grants a new hope for this masterpiece

This is really good, I hope you continue for season 2 in the future!
This makes me miss the old days of Machinima like Red vs Blue, or Arby n the Chief. I love this!!!
I remember watching this as it came out. Glad to see this in my recommended, even if a reminder that it'll never be finished.

I love this, this is so charming, a bunch of buds saw Red vs Blue and wanted to make something like it, but for the star wars game they all played
