Making a net with that little shuttle would be neat to see. Maybe file off the little bur from the attachment point so it doesn't snag. 👍 The deadfall trigger worked well, it seems, and it's a cool design, too.

the fish hooks alone are worth it. trying to keep actual fishing hooks in a bugout back is very dangerous ;( same with pencil sharpeners, and a few other things. BAH.
A fishing video would be cool. How well do those hooks work?
(Mouse jumping all over the trap - trying to make it fall down) Gives up - proving that the trap is safe and non-working. Goes into the trap, bites the cheese, and the glass casserole dish slams down. "Oh skit !!! "

I'm reminded of the time as kids in the 70s we made a trap like this with a box and put a raccoon hat in there with the tail sticking out. Told our Grama we got one and she's out there telling us to be careful......Grab the tail, lift the box and throw the hat at her........Lucky she didn't have a heart attack. 😂😂
The net piece would be interesting
If you red enamel spray paint the fish hooks - here in the PNW - we have fish biting bare red hooks (worms). So do a little pre-prepping for the fish hooks, and quaranteed you will have greater catching. If only on could 3D fly fishing lures !

As you showed the Egyptian napped obsidian "C" arrow tips, one wonders whether this producer could laser etch out the same in a "V" shaped arrow head with micro fine forward cutting-facing teeth (holding the arrow in place), ... and use the extra metal on the card for other options.

Please explain the net making technique, I only ever read up on how to make a hang-mat bed using rope.
I like your flint k napping arrow heads and the making arrow vanes from feathers and pitch and the outdoor rope tension snare and fork traps you made. Your smokeless fire in the whole video was great, too.

Once you have enough flat mice, you sew them together with the needle to make a Otzi style coat

that is all fine and good but, you'd be much better served to look up the "figure 4 trap" and carry a pocket knife with you at all times. They can be made in any size you care to and are physically able to make them.
