This video has been extremely helpful. I haven’t actually used LECA yet but am wanting to give it a try. I never would have thought to attach the plants to the moss pole before putting it in the LECA.
Oh wow cool, I’ve been debating on planting my philodendron cordatum and Brazil into LECA. Love you & appreciate your videos! Warmth, gratitude & blessings! 🙋♀️
Hi @TheLecaQueen was there an update on the growth of your micans? I've seen Sydney plant guys and am unsure whether micans grows best in soil mix or leca
I’m a new subscriber so I wanted to know if you have experienced rust from the mesh being in contact with water. Please anyone answer for me. I love the video
Hi Nora, I’ve been binge watching your videos !! Today I went to Bunnings and bought a welding iron, already have been using foliage focus but need a new bottle 😊. Tomorrow I’m going to make my first pole because I have a chiapense that is nearly hitting the ceiling, it’s in soil though. I am wondering where you get your Italian Leca from please, I’m in Adelaide
Hello Angela!! Thank you for watching and for the support. Have fun with that moss pole! You can get the Italian leca from here: foliagetherapy.com.au/collections/plant-care-accessories/products/leca-clay-balls?variant=41820456124586
Thank you for another lovely video, can I ask when do you decide to or not to use a plastic backing on your moss pole? Also ccs doesn’t seem to be available in the uk in that form, it comes in a gel stem coating. do you have any other suggestions for rooting? 🤗😍
Thank you. Check out my new Q & A video where I talk about how I decide to use plastic sheet moss poles. If you can't find CCS, ask your hydroponics provider for something that will aid rooting and provide nutrition. Sorri I cannot recommend somethingelse.
At average indoor room temperature and humidity (very vague I know), how often do you usually have to mist your moss poles? I'm also aware that the volume of the moss in the pole and how big/thirsty the plant is that is in that particular pole plays a big role so let's say that the moss pole in question is the one in the video.
I really enjoyed the video. I have few questions. What kind of water do you use tap or distilled water? I live in the United States. Where I can buy the foliage focus solution? Thank you 🙏
Thank you. I use tap water. I do not know of any place in the US that sells it. You can buy it from Australia but the shipping is pretty expensive. If that's not an issue, try here: tinyurl.com/FOLIAGEFOCUS
You can but the pothos are such prolific growers that they will take over the pole. I have a trailing pot with different plants in it but the pothos is the dominant one.
Your plants have such deep and rich color!
Thank you, so helpful and well explained. Great channel!
You're very welcome!
I just love watching your videos. You have inspired me to transfer to leca. Thanks for sharing
I'm so glad! Thank you.

So nice of you
Hey Queen 👸🏾! Love your videos and your jungle! You make me smiley 😊 😊❤️🌿🌼
I’ve learned a lot form you!
Thank you so much 🤗
Hello. A couple question: 1. What you use to tie your plants. 2. Are moss poles needed in a control humidity environment? Thank you!
Wow that looks like something more than philodendron micans… Almost looks like a young Melanochrysum!
I know right!
I think it’s the silver green or the green form.
Thanks for walking us through your process. I have some rooted siltepicana cuttings I'm hoping to do this with.
Good luck!
great video....lol your shirt looks like plants with roots!!
Thank you. 😂
Your plants are absolutely amazing; large hardy beautiful….. what pop the world are you growing in?
Thank you. I am in Melbourne Australia.
I love it! How and when do you water the moss pole? It looked like it was dry and this is why I'm asking. Nora I love your videos.
Thank you. I water the pole using bottles or my pressure sprayer as regularly as I can.

Hello, no no update. I gifted the plant and it is gone from my collection. I am trying to downsize. If a plant serves no purpose out it goes.
@@TheLecaQueen thanks for taking the time to respond!

Thank you for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! The wire mesh is pvc covered so rust has never been an issue for me.

Every few days if you can manage it. Assuming it got a good soak and was not dry.
