The most insane concert I ever went to was a Pantera show in 1992 at Alpine Valley Wisconsin, where the mosh pit became over 5000 deep, a swirling mass of vulgarity ripping up chunks of sod in the lawn seats, and a sod clump war erupted with the skies darkened by clumps flying from lawn to pavillion and back again, blocking out the setting sun like Xerxes' arrows at thermopalye.
