I would recommend adding mending to your armor and carrying at least 2 stacks of Bottle o' Enchanting to repair your armor, This is very useful in crystal pvp, long fights and when you want thorns in your armor
Use the sword mostly on attacking(before shield) when your enemy puts up his shield immediately pull out your axe, try to disable his shield and then continuously attack him with axe until he puts his shield up again, then disable it and then switch to sword and continuously attack the enemy.
Once you pop his totem, hit the enemy with axe 2-3 times before switching to sword

1:43 In lategame pvp, projectiles are used solely for tipped arrows, they deal practically no damage even with 5 crossbow shots.
2:05 Gapples are useful but remember pregapping as well as saturation.
2:53 Lava does tiny damage in lategame and you'd prolly have fire aspect.
3:21 Potion information is correct aside from regen, gapping a lot is already enough and you're better off with more slots.

Tipped arrows are good but are not nearly as good as yk fireworks
What you should get in any PvP is exp bottle. It mends up your armour, making it amazing for fights. And you should learn cpvp as you can dominate entire servers with it. Also, if you hit a player into the air and crystal them, it will do more damage. You can also use a lagswitch for a move called "Rocket crystal" by rasplin, an amazing cpvp'er. In fact, one of the best globally. And, you should use swords too as it deals a little less damage than an axe by a few points but you can strike twice as fast. You should use swords when your enemy's shield is disabled. Also, try to agro them when they pearl. When they pop a totem, strike with an axe as they have about 5 hearts.
Think someone telling this much about armour durability and forgets to tell that you need to put mending for repairing it with experience

When you use anchors you click with glowstone on it ONLY once and then click with other item or hand . Thats so much faster

Something I always do but noone else does is just have arrows of weakness, I mean, you can just easily give them weakness or any other effect by just having weakness arrows and they won't do any damage to you, really dont know why almost noone uses this but always works for me so.

Strength potions counteract that
Arrows of instant damage 2 with bow of infinity+unbreking 3+ flame+power 5 + punch 2 . It can do over 100 hearts of health to your enemy. It one shots the ender dragon. One fully enchanted nethrite armed player equals about 500 hearts of health , so it will take only 5 hits.

Your fully right, countering a strength 2 pot can be mega useful and can give the edge in combat, tho I would also carry some harming or slow fall arrows just in case
Btw when using resawn anchors in ov or end just use glowstone Once Only to save glowstones and then click click with any other thing leaving glowstone
Tip: turn off your dynamic fov if your fov is on 105 or quake pro and also for performance or reduce lag while fighting is to reduce your render distances

When using crystal, you can use slowfalling arrows to make it easier as they will stay in the air for more time, so more time to place a crystal and kill them

a really cool thing you may have forgot to mention is that a piercing crossbow shoots through shields so you can use tipped arrows or chip away at healing items from range

Looks like crystal pvp slowly gets the attention I was dreaming of a year ago. It is a very unique experience only existing in Minecraft. So go take a look at it and discover more potential and ideas of how to improve this concept.
And don't tilt!
also for combos and potions part, hold a feather falling splash, splash it on ur enemy and then combo them more easily
The good taktic is to use ender perls and steaks (to heal up) , and to dose a lot of damage you can use bow whise instant damage arows and cobweb (you just need to spam whise bow).
A lot of people in the comments already mentioned about xp bottles yes you need at least a stack of xp bottles if late game pvp fights you can get them from villager trading. In the video he said to use numbers to switch inventory slots faster but some numbers from your keyboard are far from your fingers so I recommend setting custom keybinds for like ender pearls so you can switch to it quickly and pearl when you are low. Lava buckets can be useful in early game fights but I recommend not to use them in late games because most of the players will bring fire resistance and lava buckets will be just a waste for your inventory slot. I recommend watching tutorials from pvp experts like rasplin.

You should also use potion of the turtle master 2 since while using it you are practically invincible by 30 seconds. But only if they don't have end crystals
u are also VERY slow and they can combo you, aswell as you not being able to run to them without using a bunch of pearls

If you use turtle master in crystalpvp its OP for anchor spamming

For crystal pvp you can bring slow falling arrows to make your opponet stay in the air longer
Slow falling is for the beginners who need more time to place the crystal + obsidian

also when doing crystal pvp make sure that you blow up the crystal on opponents legs level or higher, it does a LOT more damage and can one-shot a totem
it does the most dammage on your legs and lower, not higher levels

Something that I haven't seen being used in pvp and idk why: potions for the enemy.
If you splash your opponent with weakness you will be able to deal more damage than him.
Another option are harming and poison potions. Here are some test results (all of them keeping in mind the opponent wears full prot 4 netherite):
Harming II can deal two hearts with one bottle.
Poison I with 1:30 duration will slowly deal damage but at the end of the effect the opponent will have lost 9.5 hearts.
Poison II with 0:21 duration will deal damage much faster and at the end it will have dealt 4.5 hearts of damage.
Also, you can throw a lingering potion with poison or instant damage in order to assist with getting some distance. By throwing both a lingering potion of poison II and a lingering potion of instant damage II you can half your opponent's health by also getting some needed distance.
Btw more potions take your inventory as they can’t stack so speed 2 fire res of 8min and strength 2

there are vids where they show the 1.19 pvp, axes are trash now
1. You didn't say anything about saturation its one of the most important things.
2. When your using Crystal u can give the enemy slow falling hit him in the air place obbi encrystal on top and then blow it up thats better.
3. You didn't say that it is better to throw potions on your head becouse it lasts longer.
4. You didn't say anything about placing a block in front of you when u use beds or respawn anchors.
I have keys switched. Sprint is Q and trow out item is Y but using sprint as Q I can sprint really fast and sideways and it helps with knockback and catching up with players
I was versing my friend the other day and he started boasting about having the ‘high ground’ but I remembered watching this before so I didn’t say anything, I just kept hitting him, but this will be really helpful, I just hope my friend doesn’t keep running away whenever he gets low, cause it’s always annoying.

When bothe people have axe and shield, hold down left click with the Axe, so when the enemy hits your shield, he will get an instant hit.
Also when you fight crystal PvP then try to hit the enemy and when he is in the air, place obsidian and crystal and blow up. You can than try out to place instant another crystal, so your enemy will get at least totem used.
And when you have a gunpowder farm, you can craft rockets with firework stars, then drink strenght 2 and spam rockets with multishot on your enemy.

@@advendro9385 Its not a glitch, thorns has always been consuming durability intentionally so it isnt overpowered and mandatory for pvp

A mysterious stew with regeneration is good. But if you make it with a dandelion or a blue flower from the swamps, you will get a saturation effect. It restores a lot of satiety and saturation, and will be even more useful than regeneration.

I would say fishing rod and water bucket also come in handy. Where one is to pull enemy closed and another is maintain distance.

One thing, if you are playing crystal pvp, you want to have one piece of armor be blast prot IV instead of prot IV, so you can't be oneshot by a crystal at full health, same goes with intentional game design explosions. Also, when doing late game pvp in general, bring XP bottles to mend armor, as fights are often determined by who's armor breaks first.
You can be 1 shot at full health even with blast prot. Don't put blast prot 4 on anything other than your leggings.

U also have to tell about p crits use potion of slow falling for crystals (might take some time to practise but once u mastered u are almost unbeatable if your enemy don’t know much things about crystals) and not to use crits when ppl are not or they will combo u and sadly u can’t combo in 1.19 or 1.18.2 which is unrealeased as getting kb in netherite was a bug which will get fix so no kb :/ (ppl might say and so they can bring it back but not sure ) and try to combo in diamond as u always take ke in diamond. Get mending on your armour and bring exp bottles to mend your armour (practise at pvp legacy server )

at the very first starting, it’s super obvious, but at the ending it actually kind of help me with PVP
Xd I finally seeing Crystal pvp and respawn anchors pvp on this channel and also you don’t need so many glow stone to use the respawn anchors,you only need one.just put the respawn anchors down,right click it with one growstone,and then right respawn anchors which another item and It will blow up.also btw I train Crystal pvp for 1 year now I think I am pretty op now xd
Fun fact: Minecraft calculates damage to the bottom of your hit box (aka. Feet) so in the crystals part, it’s a ray cast against your feet. When you are the same level as the crystal, it deals the most damage, while when standing under, there is a block in the way, so less damage. In the low ground part, as your opponents feet are closer to your head (the hits start from your head), and your feet are way down on the floor, it’s harder for your opponent to hit you, unless if he manages to jump down. (Sorry Luke)
Just use pots for that no need to use sus stews since it will fill up inv more than other splash such as inta healing and refills such as speed,strength,regen and fire res (would recomend to use bottle pots for regen and fire)

Note: Axe hits don't disable shields 100% of the time by default. I believe it's somewhere around a 25% base chance that goes up to 75% while sprinting or while hitting a crit, can't remember which. Each level of efficiency gives an additional 5% chance. So don't expect to disable your enemy's shield every hit unless you are running at them with an eff 5 axe

If you're decent at crystal pvp, an hitcrystal, where you hit someone into the air and then place an obby and crystal him is a lot easier when you have knockback 1 or even 2 on your sword, because netherite armour encouters the knockback almost entirely. Also use slow falling arrows, they are so op for cpvp

Hate to burst your bubble, but none of this will work in hypixel. Hypixel uses a much older type of pvp, where spamming is way more effective, and most of the items in this video simply don't exist or just aren't as useful in hypixel. There are plenty of videos like this but for hypixels pvp type, just search up '1.8 pvp tutorial' on youtube :D

for anchors you can charge it once then change to something else than glow stone and it will still explode
If your gonna crystal PvP and normal PvP I suggest you use half blast protection 4 and half prot 4
From a God pvp players experience, I highly recommend 8 minute fire res over regeneration potions, because if you have golden apples will do the same thing nearly but without filling so much inventory space
You can also anchor someone and while they are in the air place obi and crystals(slowfalling also help with this)
You know how funny it would be if shulkercraft teaches you how to rainbow anchor someone
