- This is how to get the best gear in Minecraft without ever using a village. It seems every tutorial on how to get perfect gear in Minecraft uses a ton of villagers and villager trading so with this guide I don't even set food inside a village.

This video is how to get a perfect set of tools and armor in Minecraft Java. I enchant armor with protection 4, unbreaking 3, mending and tools with efficiency 5 in a very short time frame. Also the fastest way to get ancient debris and mine for diamonds plus the best enchantments for each item. - Ігри
VERY IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS STRATEGY:
This will not work on bedrock edition. You cannot build above the bedrock ceiling on bedrock edition.
This will not work on large servers. Other players will fill up the mob cap rendering the farm useless.
Make sure that entity cramming is enabled since if it isn't minecarts won't deal damage. In vanilla minecraft, entity cramming defaults to 24. Paper and other custom servers change some of these mechanics.
In later versions, the mechanic which makes agro zombie piglins drop EXP even if you haven't attacked them will be removed so beware. The farm currently still works as of release 1.19.0.

@@ricepicker8180 simple end farms take just about 20 minutes to build and can get you 30 levels in a minute or 2
@@masterfakeio4736 i think i understand why he said to do the gold farm though: a gold farm is easy xp without having to go underprepared fighting the ender dragon. this actually seems like a smart method, tbh.
a lot of people dont seem to know this but you dont actually need nether wart to brew weakness potions. All you have to do is brew regular water bottles with a fermented spider eye and it makes weakenss potions
u would still need blaze powder to power up the brewing stand....

*Tips for Bedrock players:*
-Animals respawn, so you can stay in the same biome when getting food etc.
-_You can bonemeal sugarcane_
-Make JC Playz's overworld gold farm instead of the one here. (Way cheaper)
-Zombie villagers spawn from monster spawners, so if you ever find one, mark it for later.

I've been playing Minecraft for a while now and seen a lot of guides of how to get full sets of armour and stuff but I have never seen one good as this! This helped me A LOT! Thank you.

for breaking the bedrock: make sure the server you’re playing on isnt hosted on a paper server, paper is a server optimization plugin which by default disables block breaking exploits. you can see on what its hosted by looking in the top left of your f3 debug screen
also always take 10 extra obby with you to build a portal if the bedrock breaking fails

Yes, but I prefer mending on the bow and knockback isn´t that useful, because you wanna kill the mobs and not punch them only away. Also Thorns at least on the Chest and Leggings can be Op ;) sorry for my bad english

Actually pretty cool to see, villages are just generally easier, but getting max gear the old fashioned way through enchanting certainly works aswell, just takes a bit longer and a source of xp is required

-Find snowy mountain or any mountain and dig down to see if an ancient city is there.
-Harvest skulk sensor from loot chests, using trap doors to capture the wardens if you run into any.
-Return to surface and gather some redstone materials (piston and comparator)
-Make 1.19 skulk sensor fishing farm.
-Sit and farm till you can acquire mending and all the needed enchants for the ultra fishing rod.
-Now go on long haul afk with a storage collection hopper from the pool above you.
-Profit
Can usually be put up by 3rd day in survival if seed is forgiving with a close ancient city.

Tipp: if you're playing with mods that spawn other creatures, just place soul torches, these prevent (in my case) the hostile creatures from spawning, but piglins could still spawn because they're limit is light level 11.

I've actually been trying to do this sort of challenge in the past! Best I could do was a fully maxed set of netherite armor aswell as fully maxed netherite sword, pick and a shovel by day 18 I think. Didn't know anyone else was interested in this sort of stuff. 0_0

bit of a possible time optimization here but, instead of farming/foraging for cane and leather, go to the stronghold and grab books from the library. This cuts out all that time spent, and on the way there you can use the clay patch river trick to get diamonds easily.
From there you can kill the ender dragon for an easy 64 levels to start off your enchanting, construct an enderman farm for the rest of the xp - which doesn't need an ungodly amount of magma blocks. What it does need is a lot of stone/wood and crafts made from those, which you will have picked up in your mining in the overworld.
Little added bonus is the chance for helpful enchants from the library chests. Another interesting idea is to go end city looting if you get lucky, they can drop diamond pieces with high levels of sharpness, unbreaking, mending, and such - useful bases to combine your other enchantments on to. Although the main incentive would be to get an elytra, except at that point all you really need to do is mine for debris, which doesn't benefit from flight really. Chances are that just enchanting would be faster. One thing to mention is that gold gathering can be lumped in with diamond mining/iron mining/found from end cities/or even mining for debris. There are a lot of ways to get the gold needed that can be clumped up with other tasks to boost efficiency
Thats a way better strat, i do something like that aswell, but my priority is getting and elytra, not really all the gear

Look for magma blocks at Nether Y 27 ish cuz There are usually a lot of them next to each other + less lava

I have an even better method where after enchanting a set of diamond armor, go to the end and kill the dragon for xp, go and get armor and diamonds from end cities to combine with your current set, then go home and grindstone the bad ones, use dragon xp to reenchant! Then combine it all and add the netherite! You might even get mending in the cities!
bro but most of them have curse of binding or curse of vanishing which can not be remove by grindstone

Tip: You can also take the books from the bookshelves in woodland mansions to speed up the book process
If you’re playing on Java there is almost zero chance of coming across a woodland mansion without a village or a whole lot of time

1:15 hi idk if this applies well here but ilmango recently found out that you should harvest your sugarcane every 41 minutes instead of 20, because at 20 minutes most of the sugarcane has only grown 1 block instead of 2, but after waiting a total of 41 minutes, most of the sugarcane have just grown 2 blocks.
Small optimisation to save time travelling between caves and the surface, doesn't matter all that much tho imo.
edit 1: update 1.19 is releasing soon, are there any noteworthy changes to this strategy?
pretty sure gold farms no longer work at all... so its basically ruined, but in the deep dark the blocks give xp from what i remember and is supposed to be the new best way for xp - so if ur willing to go mine that then that might be the fastest way
EDIT: I stand corrected, gold farms still function normally so this should work well.
@@rakethemseals Sorry i am late... Turtle Egg based gold farms do work i think... also for the Skulk blocks in Deep dark... it usually generates at very far place (1500 blocks min. with DREAM LUCK) or at cliffs.. so unless your spawn is a mountain.. i dont think its worth it for early game

Best way for books(for me atleast) is from the libraries in the stronghold. Most of the time I'll find the stronghold, fast but not enter the portal til later simply for the books
U would need at least 6 ender Pearl's and 3 blaze rods and lot of travelling. Which isnt bad but u do need to have sugarcane to trade with a villager also u would need food by killing animals. So it's better to just follow as is
I used this method with combination of the village one. I got the bookshelves and enchanted my armor using the enchantment table. Then with any other enchants i needed, I would use villagers. I also found it easier to buy bookshelves from Librarians since it's infinite and usually costs 9 emeralds.

6:52 In a multiplayer - pvp based server I would agree with you on the sharpness since it is very good in pvp.
In a singleplayer - casual SMP type server I would recommend smite as it kills all undead mobs (skeletons, zombies, phantoms etc..) really easily.
Of course this is my opinion and I am not disagreeing with anyone, just what I think when it comes to sword enchantments.
yeah smite is real nice cuz u can 1shot undeads with a neth sword and not need to crit, but if its not smite 5 u dont get that so most of the time its still worth to go for sharpness

I did this in a word I’m already on and I’m kinda bad and new as well but I’m learning stuff and this got me protection 3 and projectile protection 3 and unbreaking 3 enchanted books and I tried to make multiple which took me 2 hours and now have netherite armor and weapons thanks man!

another solid strat with the introduction of deep dark, is just go to an ancient city (usually under mountains) and mine skulk with a hoe. Its much quicker then building a whole gold farm, and safer if you're playing on an anarchy server or something along those lines. Great video!

Depending on your skill level at the game, I think making an enderman farm in the End would be better than the pigman farm. It’s easier to make and a less resource-intensive. Although if you don’t wanna battle the Ender Dragon, the pigman farm is still a good strat, even if it requires a lot of grinding for materials.
Actually a guardian farm is the best xp farm in the game! Around 3 times faster than a pigman or enderman farm. This is because they drop more xp and the orbs have higher xp values so you absorb it quicker
There is a design by ianx0four on a guardian farm that does not require draining of an ocean monument or mining it out
It does require access to the nether roof
@@masterdeetectiv9520 it's pretty complex and a bit resource-intensive though. when I built it on my world with netherite gear and shulker boxes and everything it still took some time to make, whereas an enderman farm just requires grinding for a lot of blocks
The good thing about a gold farm is that it it is fully afkable (You dont need to swing your sword), can be built whereever you like and gives you gold which is much more useful than tonnes of endor pearls and prismarine shards

I love the tutorial, however there was one point ( 2:14 ) it was showing what you should have by now, but then at the end of that part it quickly blinks a message, so i spent 20 minutes pausing the video until i saw it... and it sad "Minus the creative mode part"

The only thing I think you forgot, that saves a little bit of time is that iron bars and beds placed around the villager will speed up the transformation process and that this doesn't work on bedrock edition because you can't build on the nether roof.
The maximum bonus this gives is like a 4% conversion speed increase. Since the strategy only requires 1 conversion and the maximum conversion time is 5 mins, the most time the bars can possibly save you is 12 seconds.

Instead of running around and collecting sugarcane and leather, if you find the stronghold then you can get books from there
A thing you could do is,especially if you're a speedrunner, is go to end cities as soon as possible for the diamond gear that spawns in the chests, also the ender chests, shulker and elytra will come in handy. Gear in end cities might have mending on them, plus you can get diamond shovels and picks in the chests.

@@daanremmerie7408 Honestly, I tried so hard, but my game keeps lagging in 1.18, and because of this, its harder to find the diamonds you need
If my game didnt freeze every 30 seconds, I would have a better outlook. However, i still saw ways at getting through it. So, I'd stick to this method even when im playing 1.16.5.

For enchanting you don’t need two enchantments on armor, all you need is unbreaking and then you can use prot 3 books on the armor pieces that didn’t get prot 4.

If you're going to build Ianxofour's gold farm, I'd recommend making a level 30 enchant setup before you're going to the nether with the books you already have and get the required turtle eggs. After that, collect the rest of the materials and collect the bookshelves with your silk touch pickaxe to get the bookshelves back. You only need to already have 30 or more levels as well as some lapiz lazuli, which isn't hard even without an XP farm.

I have another quick Idea for those who dont want to prep that much: Playthrough the game as fast as possible and collect Sugar cane and gunpowder on the way. Then loot endcities and fly with elytra. If u are on singleplayer do 32 or 64 Chunks distance in end.

I already had netherite when I watched this video but my set was shit and there was no village within a 10000 block radius so I had to do a few different things for this but everything worked thanks
i play on bedrock edition, and i was so excited because this seemed to work so well for you and all th people in the comments. but i just apent around a real life day, getting around 2 stacks of sugar cane and leather to find out you cant build above the bedrock in the nether🤧
