Not to be rude, but I completely don't recommend doing the trick with the end portal to get advantage. There is a big chance you will spawn not near an island and no enderpearl will help. This trick is usually being used as a trap, but not to get an advantage
BTW to anyone who is going to do the end portal trick thing on 1.18.1 if your end portal is like lets say Y -40 like mine was it will tp you to Y -40 in the end and make it impossible to use a ender pearl to get onto the island even if you use a slow fall since the islands spawn a lot above -40 so yeah just watch out for that and if you are going to do this i wouldnt bring diamond gear
let me explain, a fence has a very thin hitbox, and a carpet simply makes the hitbox bigger in the remaining parts, except its low enough for players to jump onto. mobs don't know this since it's a transparent block.
The snow at the skeleton gave me an idea to connect a railroad tunnel to the skeletons with a charged creeper to kill all the strays and have them drop wither skeleton skulls for a beacon farm
the powdered snow in the skeleton spawner should be put at the peak of the farm (therefore extending the top part) with cobwebs instead of at the bottom, as when skellies convert into strays, they regenerate all their health, no matter how low they are, making then a 3-5 hit kill instead of a 1 tap (the cobweb help bc they slow the skeletons down even more, because they take a pretty long time to convert) and for the last time, people get confused for this, but the light level 0 mob spawning rule is no longer relevant, because mojang removed it at the last second because some of the community said it was too broken (and basically made lush caves a safe zone and easy way to get resources without a challenge)

Next time I come with several fire resistance potions prepared and chop blazes as long as potion duration allows me. The amount of blaze rods that I get sets me for quite a long time.
How does the first one work? Is it because the block stage changes making it a gateway and a end portal at the same time? I really think its pure witchcraft.
Snowballs deal 4 damage (2 hearts) to blaze. Using them is really more of a gimmick than a viable strategy. Their only real advantage over any other weapon is the rate you can use them at.

With the first tip it's nice that you can get Elytra super early, but it's useless since when you are returning you get teleported through gateaways to the main island and will have to kill the dragon anyway to get back to overworld
But it makes it so much easier to kill the Dragon. Not only will you have enchanted diamond tools and armor without spending the time grinding for them, but you'll also have the Elytra which makes it super easy to destroy all of the crystals and avoid the dragon. As long as you bring a couple of stacks of firework rockets, it makes killing the dragon super easy in a very low-effort way.
Ok just warning yall, DO NOT try the trick where you skip fighting the enderdragon. It works, you may just get teleported further down into the void that you can clutch from.

Another way that I find convenient is to put carpet on top of fence posts. The carpet allows you to jump on top for some reason.
