Hi Paula. Great tips on Oncidium orchids. You were right on about roots. Thin roots need more moisture. It’s cold 🥶 today. Furnace on , low humidity. 😢. Hugs sis 🥶🫂🥰💐
@shirleyholt898 Hey sweetie Miss Shirley 👋 yea it's cold and rainy here. The high is only gonna be 48° tomorrow!!! Ugh not very happy about it. Hope you had a wonderful week ahead 🤗🌹🩷💚
Great video! Love the Rosy Sunset. Will look for one. I have 4 and they can be tricky. The light is difficult for me. A fine balance between too much (rust coloring on pseudobulbs) and not enough (no flowers). I always end up giving them a bit too much. And I love Twinkles but the wait between them spiking and buds opening is forever!
Hey hon, yea it's a balance with light for sure. Rosy sunset is nice. Mine is different. But they are a beautiful salmon color. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead 🤗 🌹 🩷 💚
Thank you for making the video, loved seeing your oncs 😊 I also noticed an improvement growing these in the moss - fuller pseudobulbs and less accordion leaves. I find they are not always in the best condition when you bring them home so maybe it is not just us 😂
Hey hon, yea im wondering also if the moss will help with the spikes sticking. Since mine was recently up potted in moss it didnt help that. But it does help accordion leaves. I do think moss is the way to go. Hope you have a wonderful week dear friend 🤗🌹🩷💚
I have an oncidium seedlings wildcat bobcat. I have moss on the top. Should I it? I am also ordering a small humidifier for my orchid room. It has been 40 and 50 day and night. It will get back to 60 soon. I have low humidity 30's and 40.
Hey Lisa 👋 yea sounds like you need a humidifier. A small one should do the trick. Yes you can use moss on top of bark to help the new roots come down find moisture and lead them into bark. It should work just fine. 😊 Have a wonderful week dear friend 🤗🌹🩷💚

I have a wild cat bobcat oncidium seedlings. I have moss on the top should I switch it. I am buying a humidifier because I have dry air in the winter.
All of my Oncidium in moss 🇰🇳🇰🇳
@aishasimon4125 Hey hon, yep seems to be best. I just switched mine. So hopefully they will turn around! Have a wonderful week 🤗 🌹 🩷 💚
