There was a missed opportunity for a Bye Bye Birdie joke at ~19:00. And I, like Gene, had no idea what Boot Hill was. I suspect it's more familiar to westerners.
I'm pretty sure Richard Deacon was better known than Brett. He'd been a supporting cast member on _The Dick Van Dyke Show_ and had a recurring role on _Leave It to Beaver_ before that, plus he'd played guest roles on about a third of the programs going in the 1960s.
Richard Deacon was a staple of 50s & 60s American television. Besides his well-known roles on Leave It To Beaver and The Dick Van Dyke Show, he also replaced Roger C. Carmel as Roger Buell on The Mothers' In Law when it went into its second season and was probably a guest star at one time or other on just about every sitcom of the era. Gunilla Hutton first came to fame as the 2nd Billie Jo Bradley on Petticoat Junction and then as a regular on Hee Haw. Mitzi McCall was probably the least known of the members of this panel. She was primarily known for her comedy act with her husband, Charlie Brill (who also was a Match Game panelist) and for their frequent appearances on Tattletales. Later on, she would be a regular with her husband on the crime drama series "Silk Stalkings" as the Lipschitzes.

Mitzi is on fire this week! She's working that 6th position perfectly and hilariously!
I just love these episodes.
"Social workers for the rich" lol

Wait a minute. You mean you're not supposed to clean your toilet with a vacuum cleaner?
If the copilot had any sense of duty, he would tell on the captain if he had a drink before every flight!
I said 'SNEEZE in his ear'
With the exception of Brett, Nipsey, and Richard this was a relatively unknown panel.

@@LynxSouth I agree, anyone at the time would have known him well, he played a very memorable character on one of the biggest TV shows of all time.

14:20 Gene on the defensive about his ignorance.
How about block party?
I think the answer is actually “she tried to clean her vacuum with the vacuum cleaner”😟
Nah, I've done that, vacuumed the dust out of the attachment holders.

saint Richard did it again! (I honestly and truly DON"T know how he got to stay on this show)!
Gene....really....you didn't know about "Boot Hill"?
I am _not_ American, and I knew about Boot Hill. By the way, nor was Richard Dawson.
Mitzi is just useless. Why did they have her on?
I was amazed Gene hadnt heard of Boot Hill. Must be cause he was an Easterner
No, I'm an Easterner & I knew about Boot Hill.
My answers are.....
Even the hookers fall asleep on the sidewalks.
Had to teach the chicken to lay eggs.
BIRTHDAY party
Clean the GARAGE with a vacuum cleaner
Oooooh! Mitzi, go away!
dasos1863 My thoughts exactly!
dasos1863 - yeah, she was kind of annoying. Not Kaye Stevens level of annoying but a bit too try-hard at being funny.
Same to Elaine Joyce n Kay Stevens 😝 go away
@@frankswisher6342 LOOOOOOOL Frank, do you know that you are most DEFINITELY the ONLY one who thinks that about Joyce (you are so funny)!
@@frankswisher6342 Elaine is actually smart & intelligent, but I do agree with you about Kaye though
Richard Dawson was so obnoxious
Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Richard.
