Confusing video. The amazon link goes to a 52mm magfilter. But there are people on Amazon that are saying that the 52mm will not work. Would have been super helpful to show a clear shot of the box of this filter...
Thxs i want to buy this camera for my trip in Italy and heard I needed this Filter , can you do another video and explain more about other filter properties?
Thanks for this Reha! Really helpful as I recently bought this camera for my travel videos. Will you make a video for setting up this camera too? Would be interesting to see how you set it up when you color grade in post!
How it works with a vario filter? Is the magnet power enough for onehanded operation on the vario filter? or do i need to hold the adapter for spin the vario with the other hand? Thanks for your video.
Any chance of a review of the Hoya 52mm Variable Density 3-400 Filter, preferably used on the LX10? Would have been great. Is there any vignetting at 24 mm equivalent? How about the X-pattern reported that some/most of these filters have "on the dark side", is it an issue?
Great video thanks for sharing that info. One question on the Mag Filter. Do you notice any vignetting at f/1.4 and 24mm? It seems there may be some since the ring isn't an exact fit. Thanks.
Hi Reha: Very good video, but I have one question please. Which is the ring diameter you used? After having the ring and the magnet can we use third part filters? Where did you get the ND filter? Tganks in advance, JRosa.
+Jose Rosa hi and thanks. I used the 52mm adapter. I felt others were too big. You can use any 52mm filter with the adapter. Links are in the description.
Hey!! Are there other places to get the micro deadcat? perhaps in black that would fit? I am buying this setup right now, so looking for a alternative as the micromuff takes like 1 month in shipping before it arrives to me :) Appreciate the help!!
Hi: It's me again. I have one more question about this filter. As far as I'm concerned the Magfilter has two components: 1 - The adhesive metal ring (the one you put on the lens). 2 - The magnetic adapter ring in which I can attach the filters. I assume that your answer is for point 2 (you are using the 52mm magnetic adapter ring) But for point one , which is the diameter of the adhesive metal ring you are using? Can I use the 42mm for the adhesive metal ring and the 52mm magnetic adapter ring ? The link provided for the Filter 52mm Threaded Adapter Ring shows the magnetic adapter filter (52mm) and 2 adhesive metal ring? If this is right which is the diameter of those 2 adhesive metal rings? Thank you for your patience. Best regards, JRosa.
Great video, thanks! I'm thinking about getting this camera. Is the auto focus a problem on it? I've seen reviews that say it is. I might need to get the ND filter and wind muff if I get one :)
The autofocus is good enough for comfort but does breath a lot (back and forth) in static scenes and also sometimes misses your face's presence in the image (to then focus back on it).
I want to order the magfilter kit and want to order a ND filter for silky water and a polarizing filter for beach shots and winter shots.Looked on Amazon but they are so many opinions I am confused. Could you recommend to me some decent ones without breaking the bank? New to shooting and will get my Lumix LX10 in the mail on Wednesday. Thanks
I will give this a go, thanks so much for a very informative post. I love my LX10. I very much DO NOT LIKE the 15 minute limit on 4K video, so please tell us how to hack LX10 for "service mode" and set this limit OFF (like I did on my FZ1000). Cheers Mate!

That was an excellent video presentation. Thank you very much. 😊
Nice Video. What's the filter size for the Lumix LX10? 52mm?
Excellent vid Reha. Would like to see a comparrison for vlogging with and without the muff.
That was an excellent video presentation! Thank you so much 😊

I am currently working on exactly that, yes.
haha That's great news! Looking forward to see that!
Jere Travels have you seen the video. I uploaded it a couple of days ago.
Reha Alev Yes, I did. Thanks a lot for that! Very helpful! :)
Thanks for doing this video very useful..By the way you look gangsta with the Raiders hat thumbs up.
How it works with a vario filter? Is the magnet power enough for onehanded operation on the vario filter? or do i need to hold the adapter for spin the vario with the other hand? Thanks for your video.
Should be fine for one-handed use.
Thanks Reha - I notice that you can extend the ISO down from 125 to 80 - did you try this to lower the exposure?
Thanks mate, the magfilter works perfectly!
Johan Botha hey, what size did you get for lx10.. 55mm or 42mm? Reha got me confused as in the comments he has mentioned both
Well done. What are you using to shoot your video?

Can do!

BullCity Pictures none. the ring is way bigger than the lens element inside.
Can LX10 be "hacked" like rest of the Lumix cameras to record video with no limit?

Great video but I'm confused - above you said 42mm for the LX10 but here you are saying 52mm.

Magfilter can be occur vignette on 24mm
Outstanding video!!! Thank you!

+Jose Rosa the adhesive metal rings are all the same size, only difference is the diameter of the filter adapter. It'll be 42mm for the LX10
Didn't know that. Now everything is clear. Thank you for your support and your quick answer.
Best regards.
Does the ND filter at 52mm cause any vignetting?? Thank you for your time..
I have not had any issues.
Reha Alev thanks again

What MM size is the Magna Filter?
Great video, just subbed

Hi John, I am using this one: amzn.to/2JdywWj
Is really ok the filter on lx15 ?
yes, works perfectly fine. You can also use the one from Lensmate, if it makes you feel better: bit.ly/2pzGI74
very helpful
Thanks!!
