Excellent actor whom I was saddened to see him die. His interviews are so interesting because he is English but so deep to hear about his research and work he put into his role. He deserves an Emmy!

INCREDIBLE DECENT HUMAN BEING FOR SURE. The character studies in Homeland are unprecedented for me. I’ve never been so immersed in a series EVER. Quinn so complex and so sensitive. Fell in love with him.

What a lovely guy in real life too 😊
Peter Quinn was such an amazing character but Carrie didn't deserve his love and protection. She is a law unto herself. Amazing show.

Homeland choose a great character for PQ, the gentleman not only did his research, but he had compassion for the real unknown hero's in real life. Sorry to see the show end, with so much going on in the world today the writers could of kept on going writing the show, it was suspenseful. The writers, director, and actors makes a great team.

Emmy for Rupert!! Brilliant acting and his interviews are always interesting. I don't agree with anyone who says death was "the natural ending for PQ's character." So, a wounded vet can't get any better and just needs to die? smh #NoQuinnNoHomeland

gemini life Agreed! I would've loved to see a spin-off show focussing on his struggles with his condition & how the System just discarded him. Meditating on his death, as well as considering each season like a novel, I feel like his death was a tragic sacrifice - he saved both Carrie & Elizabeth. The President-Elect asked who he was & that she'd never forget him - only to have him not really discussed much afterwards - a very telling comment on how soldiers are good enough to "serve" but not "good enough" to be treated with respect & compassion after they've served. I'll never really forgive Showtime for not giving the series more funding to include a memorial scene for both Quinn & Max, both of whom were such vital parts of the series.

Showtime needs to write and deliver Quinn Prequel Missions. Explore the character's background, further reveal Dar Adal's off the book hitmen. The house where Quinn had flashbacks to, in New York with the diner nearby. SHOWTIME--if you want to excite the fans with a jolt, NEW QUINN MATERIAL.
We can say that Quinn was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Carrie, Saul, Brody and Dar Adal... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
    - I would like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press. Clearly, Javadi being able to take credit for capturing Brody helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder? Was his name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you thought.
    - Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. You just did that ... why ??
Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else.
Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was awesome, it will be one of the most memorable moments of the series, without a doubt!
"And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see in him what you see. That has happened. Everyone sees him through your eyes now ..."
    - How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see it? It's the world?
