Thanks for your informative video, Andrew, I just moved to lake fork, tx. and would love your insight on fishing it. I don't know much at all about it but I know it has the reputation as '' the trophy lake of tx. ''
I have the garmin 93 sv front and console they are linked together. not sure if the mapping is exactly the same as yours but looks as so. They are very affordable with depth shading as you show and live scope. They are a great option not to break the bank
Ok this is a tough ask. What I would like to see is your opinion on who are the top ten bass fisherman in the USA right now. Two categories. Opens this year and elites this year. Your opinions on who is favorite to win any of those events. Your overall top ten in all of bass fishing would be cool as well. But more focus on just B.A.S.S. tourneys.
FREAKING RIGHT thank you UA-cam for putting Upshaw on my UA-cam. Now I can watch Scott Martin and Andrew upshaw. Good deal lol. No lie I liked watching you fish on Scott’s channel. And the video Scott and wheeler versus you and your partner was fun to watch lol. Keep up the good work on the tournaments buddy.
Thanks for this reminder, I think sometimes some of us recreational anglers get a little "stuck" in a rut so to speak. I already knew to do what you just explained, but that doesn't mean I've been applying it like I should! We need a wake up call every once in a while! Interesting that you said you grew up on Toledo Bend, I live in Louisiana and Toledo Bend is my favorite lake had a camp there for almost 30 years, I'd like to hear some more stories of your experiences on Toledo. Best of luck to you in 2021, I hope you reach your goals!
Hey pal whats your plan for 2021 ? You going to fish the big 5 or are you staying with the opens and trying to still make the elites ? Thanks cant wait to watch no matter where u fish this year ..
Andrew, nice new logo buddy. Thx for the topic and the show me how echo works. Im saving for a down payment for my 1st boat then I can buy me some of these electronics. Good video!!
Great video spot on .I do the same with my lowrance carbons with the custom depth shadings. I totally agree the technology of these fish finders is definitely pulling anglers of the banks a bit farther.thanks for the video.
The bigger the fish the more pressure put on them when they go deeper then as you stated 20' and they are not comfortable with that kind of water pressure. Even crankbaits start to Crack or split at 25'.
Good stuff, I really like to use the shading. I like to use it to show long sloping or steep points. Highlight 5-12 foot and they stand out like a sore thumb.
Thanks for that, I have been considering new electronics, to be honest Garmin wasn’t even on my map but now I want to look into that specific unit that you have.
Just subbed! Great Information! I just purchased a Garmin Echomap Ultra 106sv with a livescope. Do you have a video with the best settings for livescope? Thanks for sharing!
Heard it here first! This my pick for the year to win em all! Wish I could have some one on one w this guy to learn something to win at home tourneys. Either way Upshaw thank you tons for doing these definitely a big deal!! Oh and he sports my favorite colors lime green bright blue!!! Lol
Thank you for the advice brother. This winter has been nuts. I’ve caught them in a lipless throwing toward the bank....I’ve had strikes on a frog just a week ago....Georgia winters are bipolar! 🤜🤛
What's wrong with Lewisville? It can't be worse than Ray Hubbard. I know not every lake can be a Fork or Tawakoni , Toledo. But really why? I have never fished it , maybe it's the recreationals
Just starting to follow you bro and I like how you go into detail about your fishing. It is truly a science and if you crack that code with just the right luck.... you’re in for a tremendous career. Stick to it man!! No doubt you’ll be in the elites! Hell, go for an AOY 🤑🤑🤑👌🤙
Mr Upshaw,
You have one of the most informative fishing blogs on utube. Thank you for sharing some of your knowledge.
Thank you very much Kevin!
Great way to find river channels in FL. Thanks!
great info!
Thanks!
Awsome content

It’s very, very similar. It’s a really good, affordable unit.
Good advice man..thx for the tip

Thanks a ton Bill. I grew up there and fished it for a really long time. Had some amazing days there too. I’ll be sure to share some stories soon

Happy New Year Andrew. Love your content! Best informative channel on Utube. Thanks for the journey.
Thanks for watching, Don!
Great channel.thanks
Thanks for watching Kevin!
Dropping knowledge, thanks
Always
Hey Andrew, love the new logo with the title at the beginning of the video...very professional. Congratulations on 10K subs 🎣
Thanks a ton! I wasn’t sure what people thought about it
I live on a 7,000 acre lake. The thermocline is never over 16ft. Which keeps the fish 14ft or less.
The bigger the fish the more pressure put on them when they go deeper then as you stated 20' and they are not comfortable with that kind of water pressure. Even crankbaits start to Crack or split at 25'.
Great topic to do some spin off shows.
I agree
Good stuff, I really like to use the shading. I like to use it to show long sloping or steep points. Highlight 5-12 foot and they stand out like a sore thumb.
Heck yes they do!
Thanks for sharing, sir! Keep up the grind ✊🎣
Thanks a ton buddy! Need to hit the lake!
Good stuff!
Thanks for watching!

It’s a really good unit. I love mine.
I'm loving the content you're putting out lately keep going lets grow this channel.
Thanks a ton Rusty! I’m trying really hard to bring y’all good stuff.
What’s your thoughts on a flat side crank bait in cold temperatures and hot?
It’s good all the time, but excels in colder water
Okay thanks. Good luck this year
Just subbed! Great Information! I just purchased a Garmin Echomap Ultra 106sv with a livescope. Do you have a video with the best settings for livescope? Thanks for sharing!
I’m thinking about sharing a LiveScope video here soon. Thanks for watching!

Dude, thank you so much! I appreciate the support!🙏
Awesome video dude. 🔥🔥. People sleep on how much more affordable the echomap UHD are compared to the other big 2. 93SV you can get under a grand.
Thanks buddy! I agree completely, and it’s by far my favorite Garmin I’ve run. And it’s not even close
That's sick BTW.
Thanks buddy! I took that picture myself, believe it or not!
Thank you for the advice brother. This winter has been nuts. I’ve caught them in a lipless throwing toward the bank....I’ve had strikes on a frog just a week ago....Georgia winters are bipolar! 🤜🤛
That’s so crazy! Looks like 2021 will be just as wild, for more than one reason! Lol
Your kinda old to wear hat backwards. 😂 lol. Great video bro
Hey now, I’m still fairly young🙃
This was killer. I just learned how to do the map shading on my Echomap uhd’s last week.
Heck yes!
Can the eco map also do offset or calculate for low water lakes. Like humminbird.
It currently doesn’t (they changed it in an update) but from what I’m told it’s coming back.
Make sense when think about it.
For sure!
I always knew if you used sonar right, you'd find big fish of any species. I did all the youtube stuff I could find to your benefit.
Very, very true!
Do you factor in water level when highlighting depths in your chart/does water level effect the depth that bigger bass hang out at?
It can, but typically only when the water is really high.
@@AndrewUpshawFishing Thanks!
How you feel about targeting the river channel going into a flat coming from deep water main channel? Am I scratching the surface tossing magic depth?
Yes you are. That’s a great place to start
This is pure gold. Ok I saved it so can you please delete this so no one else watches. This is pro level stuff. Help me out here. Lol.
😂😂😂
👍👍
Lamont! Hope you had a great Christmas buddy

Love content b safe r u fishing bass open this year again
I’m fishing the Opens again!
might be leaving my Lowrances, going to Garmin
Wouldn’t regret it!
Very disappointed, this is a Garmin promo vid and 14 minutes of talking to say magic depth is a myth, cover more water, and find structure.
No Biden is going to ban all fishing due to the big green deal.....
It’s definitely possible
@@AndrewUpshawFishing stay strong stay safe
I forgot to ask last night on the stream:
Would you fish with someone who puts ketchup on hotdogs?
Yes I would. I don’t judge someone who is weird about food. 😂
