So, regarding these suggestions: Storm Wolf: I've always wanted Storm Surge to be nerfed instead of the Tiburon, since this spell not only was 200 value for 2 pips, but could become 300 value for 2 pips if you fulfilled a condition that is super easy for Storm Wolf to fulfill. Storm Colossus: The weird part about Gathering Storm is that it counters Weaknesses, which are a Death thing, which is supposed to counter Storm rather than the other way around. I get it could also counter Mantles as well but that's less common than countering Weaknesses. Anyway, yeah, it also shouldn't have a 2-pip 200 value for turn 1. Ice Krok: I was a bit hesitant about this change, but after seeing that Death Pig is still incredibly good after its nerf I suppose I'm fine with this. Like, all pigs are decent to good atm, but Death Pig is still the best pig. Storm Elf: Storm Elf is one of the best forms in the game atm. It has a good matchup against anyone so long as they get an early spot in the duel circle. And this is because they have both a 2-pip 250 and a 2-pip stun that still deals a lot of damage. Then on top of that they also have blades with good situational effects, a 4-pip 250 AoE, and even the Balance Fairy's big pip gift card. It has one thing too many, imo. I guess it losing the 2-pip 250 would have the largest impact. Myth Rat: On the other hand, Myth Rat has much less going on for it than Storm Elf does. It has 125 DPP, and a 2-pip 250, and a 4-pip 250 AoE, but it also has a lot of repetitive cards. Like three different 1-pip 125s. The biggest issue with the Storm Elf + Myth Rat combo was that it was two forms that could do 250 damage on turns 1-2, and Myth Rat wasn't really broken before this happened. I think that the Storm Elf nerf would cause Myth Rat to fall back into line, at least until it starts teaming up with the Death Krok who also has a 2-pip 250 yaaaaay. Maybe if only one statue had all the 2-pip 250s, and none other, it would be fine. Balance Krok: This is still a form that needs to be careful or else it'll trip over its own wards, and the previous nerf did make that more of an issue. However, it's still really strong as it's a medium form with both a 0-pip pip card and a 2-pip 200. While a 125 value for 1 pip is really strong for a medium form, I think it should be a bit higher because of that tripping issue. Maybe nerf the trap to 75, but buff the shield to 75 as well. Life Draconian: The problem with the Afterlife spells is that you need to cast them before the target dies, or at least that used to be the issue. Idk if the "using afterlife on a dead person gives the effect at the end of this round" glitch was fixed or not, but fixing that should make the Afterlife spell balanced. This is also a spell that's purposefully limited in the amount of copies you can have (2 total, iirc). Death Fairy: The big drain is really strong, but the Death Fairy is also really fragile. I view her similarly to the Storm Krok in that you have to time your hits well so that she can't get full value off with the drain. Personally, I think this form shouldn't be nerfed. Onto the buffs with Fire Minotaur: What sets the Fire Minotaur and Fire Pig so far apart is that both of the Fire Pig's 0 and 1 pip hits are good, while the Fire Mino lacks a 0-pip hit (has a Mantle instead, which is great) and its 1-pip hit is bad because of its lack of 0-pip cards. So the Cauterize buff is... ok? I guess? I want a buff to its 2-pip Bat card that does 150 damage/3 rounds and puts a Mantle on, because at the moment it's priced the same exact way the Storm Elf's 2-pip stun is. They both do 1 pip's value in damage and spends the other pip on the secondary effect. But a mantle and a stun are not similar in power, so the Fire Mino's card fails while the Storm Elf's shines. Maybe make it 200/4 rounds instead, because it being 225/3 rounds would be overpowered, probably. Life Colossus: Sure. The Spider would be kinda silly but potentially dangerous since you can revive allies with it, but the Bat giving you a free pip would be incredibly good. Myth Mino: Hey I wonder where that one came from. But yeah, agree here. Cursed Medusa as it stands is overcosted and its stuns are probably going to get blocked since most shield forms can put down stun blocks. So a damage buff is nice. Balance Rat: Another strangely overcosted AoE. It's still not great, but that's trying to compare it to other squishy AoEs that are really powerful. Ice Minotaur: Yeah, Bracing Breeze definitely should cost 0 pips. The 2-round stun block aura is not particularly better or worse than a stun block shield, so it should cost the same as the Ice Krok's shield. I think this change should also apply to their 4-pip AoE shield, as only 100 points of shield per person is very weak for 4 pips.
I agree. Especially Death Fairy and Life Draconian. Death Fairy is extremely fragile, she can't easily get full value off her drain. If there has to be a nerf for her, this would definitely be extreme. Life Draconian can only carry 2 copies of that spell so that makes it not very reliable. And I agree a preferred nerf would be if it didn't revive already dead forms instead of making it 50. Although personally, I think all Life forms are underpowered and need buffs. They should be on the level of Life Draconian, or all of them should be higher. Perhaps make the healing or afterlife counters much stronger so that the counters have a reason to be used
Also not to mention on the life draconian just like ice Krok it can start with 3 pips as a mid form. He mentioned the ice Krok has a potential to back to back 200 shield but life draconian has the potential to do 150 heal or 150 damage back to back. I only agree on the buffs he mentioned and ice Krok pip bonus nerf but should also consider nerfing life draconian pip if that’s the case
@@128chris if the life draconian's pip is nerfed then it's afterlife shouldn't be... also it's a bit strange how many useless spells there are yet Fire Minotaur and Myth Minotaur's spells have been mentioned while they are already good forms unlike some less used ones

Players wanting nerfs to things instead of learning counterplay is bad long term and ignores the real problems. If opponents have elf and rat in a fight SICK get big forms into that fight and takes advantage of the small health. Players dont swap forms enough players SHOULD be picking your form around their opponents and your team synergy, not just your favorite forms. Every form has counters. What I think your are identifying are problems with beastmoon systemically which I do agree with. They need to focus on ways to remove bad players (both in skill and toxicity), incentivize counterplay, and make the game less punishing from having one guy play horrible. The issue as well is "hardcore BM players" and casual audience are oil and water. you can give advice till your blue in the face but one bad move from a casual can TANK a game. in a 6v6 hardcore vs hardcore competent player match with callouts and voice chat and counter picks etc. None of the forms (specifically elf and rat) you mentioned are problematic from a balance standpoint imo. TLDR: Play around forms not demand nerfs. The problem isnt forms themselves but rather the bad foundation the best moon mode is built on.
I honestly have so much fun playing life elf, I think he def needs a bit of a buff to keep up with the rest of the forms. I was so looking forward to playing bm this week and was so disappointed when I saw spiral showcase.
Agreed - life elf deserves a buff too. Not exactly sure how though... and yeah it's too bad they had to postpone Mayhem. Hopefully next week we'll be able to play it!
Some of these make a lot of sense. Like the Balance Krok trap for example. Others I'm not totally sure. I'll write more thoughts if I think of more. I'd prefer if for example the Healing counters would become stronger (150) instead of nerfing the Afterlife heal on Life draconian.
All life forms are very weak and it would be sad to see them become even weaker. I'd prefer seeing all Life forms become better not nerfing Life Draconian. Although if all forms are weaker than maybe Life Draconian being weaker might not matter.
Death Fairy won't be able to do even 150 first turn as a small health form. That would make Life Fairy the most damaging Fairy compared to Death. I'm not sure a small form that dies so fast should get such a big nerf. I agree with the Life Colossus buff. Fire Minotaur can do 200 first turn so I don't see why it's weak but OK.
as someone who plays myth rat and storm elf, they're fine. yeah, they can deal 500 total, but if you can deal 350 on round one, they just die. I rarely live to cast twice as either form. also, the 250 damage hits aren't the main issue with either form. myth rat is strong due to the aoe, and storm elf is good thanks to their ability to chain stuns with damage, as well as its T5 aoe. they're currently below the curve, in my experience, since they die so easily.
I think the Life Draconian's afterlife is fine . From what I have seen from afterlife effects is that they appear to deduct about -2 pips worth of cost from a spell, which is probably intended to compensate for the fact that a unit needs to die in order for them to activate at all. For example, compare the Life Minotaur's "Tears of Mourning" for 0 pips to the Myth Minotaur's 2-pip "Stoke the Flames" (which also requires a minion to target), or the Death Cyclops 3-pip "Foul Concoction" which deals the same damage as other 5-pip Death DoT AoE's Like "Champion's Blight" or Death Ninja Pig's "Putrescent Wound". This is probably why Resuscitate gives 2-pips worth of healing despite being a 0-pip spell. I admittedly haven't had an opportunity to experiment with afterlife effects too much, but I believe that if you place a new afterlife effect on a unit that already has one the previous afterlife effect is replaced. I think Life Minotaur is currently the only form that can place an afterlife effect on an enemy rather than an ally, but I think this is something they could expand upon in the future to counter an enemy team's afterlife effects instead of hard nerfing "Resuscitate" (or any other afterlife effect). I also don't think Balance Krok's "Tip the Scales" should be nerfed below +150 total value. Consider that Balance Cyclop's "Spiked Buckler" provides +125 total value (+75 armor, +50 blade) for 0 pips. If "Tip the Scales" gives the same value but keeps it's +1 additional pip cost it's basically just a worse "Spiked Buckler" at that point.
No way should storm elf and myth rat should be doing the same damage as mid forms when they’re small. Only thing I can agree with is the ice Krok pip bonus.
@@AntonConstanti As I mentioned the nerfs he’s wanting this time is not the way besides maybe the ice Krok pip and life draconian pip. I’m for sure the community doesn’t want this
I agree, but the buffs make sense. Death fairy is strong, but if you use the drain turn one, you're only getting 75 dpp. It makes more sense to think of death fairy as a tank, in my opinion.

Stop advocating for more nerfs when they’re not needed. Unless it’s broken bugs like AOE glitches, the forms are fine. I can agree with all your buffs but disagree with most of the proposed nerfs. Doubt it. Players would be pissed to see their form reduced in attacks and blades (basically every spell storm wolf has). Now here you’re advocating for a second storm wolf nerf? Nerfs aren’t always the answer when valid counter-play exists. The lower health forms (rat & elf) should keep their 250 dpp spells because 1) they’re offense forms and 2) they have little health & die easily so that’s valid compensation with their spells. No point in using myth rat for example with weaker troll & aoe when players will just pick forms that have more health and same dpp spells. Your nerfs will promote a lack of diverse forms chosen in Beastmoon Hunt & Mayhem if many different forms keep getting nerfed.
I much prefer making some forms stronger as opposed to nerfing. YOU DESTROYED STORM WOLF!!! All that’s needed to balance Storm wolf is to just add stun blocks to beastmoon. Stun Blocks already exist, and they aren't good enough because only a few forms have access to them. Adding a Stun Block every time you're stunned like in PVE would be a NIGHTMARE for Mayhem. You can't chain stun the boss anymore unless you only have Storm forms in there, and then your team gets wiped out.
