Thesis statement I find strange, if the whole game run is good and the world record. I think people would think that the individual campaigns must of been godlike, not bad. However good video. Kinda like how people thought people who played chess was geniuses before they played or learn the game themselves.
think about it this way, if you have the world record for the 1 mile run, you wouldnt expect that same record to also have the 100 meter world record. because running 100 meters and 1 mile have different approaches, surely you could make the 100 meter wr faster by playing to the strengths of that format of race. same thing applies here. in longer races you cant fulll sprint the whole time, it leads to mistakes and fatigue. but in a short race you can go full yolo.

Although to be fair, I'm not a fan of any speedruns that utilize things like that over playing the game "normally" only faster or with skips but no major exploits. Not saying it doesn't take skill(I've been playing the L4D series on and off since it began and have tried bhopping casually), I guess it just takes the fun out of a stupidly fun game to me.

I'd love a series of these about each of the L4D/L4D2 campaigns, explaining how they work, talking about the history, and ending with one of those sick edited demo-to-showcase runs of the WR. It'd be cool to have as a series, and it should keep you in content for at *least* a couple months. Keep up the great work!
