@@DemonKingCozar Nah, camp in the back area of the plantation house where there's that staircase by the little table of pills/adrenalines, right near where you first enter the house from the backyard scaffolding. Any team or even often solo players can hold out there, especially if you position two players upstairs and two down. Hordes and specials have to approach you from a decent distance along either of two narrow paths, and then when the tank comes you just either run up or down depending on where you see him arrive and then you've got easy juke loops right there. I'm a pretty unskilled player in terms of actual shooting accuracy and pathing skills etc, but this strat really helps. That said, yeah without clutch strats like this it's definitely a brutal finale lol
They made it further than that one guy who called left for dead a walking simulator did and he played on easy, well done gamers. This is like watching me and my cousin playing expert realism for the first time, took us days to get through every single campaign and countless attempts, fuck crash course, fuck plantation defense, and fuck heavy rain in its entirety. Now for some tips you didnt ask for in case you do end up trying again (please try again this was funny as fuck and I wanna see you gamers succeed) - Melee weapons are a must, that or the deagle if it available. - Save Med Kits more, dont just heal after 1 down, they'll last longer, even if you have to kill a low health teammate at the end of the mission just to have them start in green health the next mission. For the greater good. - When a hoard is coming you'll hear a tune play and youll hear them running in the distance, that's your que to jump on top of something, get inside of a small room, or put your backs against a wall and get ready for melee combat, if all 4 of you stick together, you can survive even out in the open with melees. But always try and be on top of something and force the zombies to climb up to you, you can just shove em back down or melee them while climbing. - Shove is OP, it persists even turning, so you could spin and shove and get more zombies off of you than just the ones in front of you. It can also cancel parts of the reload animations making reloads very slightly faster, and it can cancel the pump shotgun's pump animation, so you can shoot, shove and get another shot off a little faster - There's a god spot on no mercy you can abuse if you want an easier time getting the last level done, but I recommend going to crash course, its only 2 levels long, and its got a super tough defense on the 2nd level, but failing 2 levels 200 times is better than failing 5 levels 100 times. - Don't move in front of the pack, stay in eye shot but never in front, this is to prevent teamates from shooting you. - You can shove Jocky and hunters mid air if you time it right, could save yourself, you could shoot the smoker tongue instead of the smoker to save your teammate, or just shove them. - You can cut the smoker tongue before it hits you if your timing is right - The best guns on realism are shotguns and automatic guns, aim for the head with rifles, this is because on realism zombies take much less damage in the torso (unless you have a melee or a shotgun) - Always always always set a tank on fire if possible, but if not, bait a downed teammate, the tank will try and crush them, meaning it can't hit you even if you keep meleeing it, melees do a shit ton of damage to the tank. - Special infecteds can only spawn in limited numbers, so if you keep a spitter alive or a boomer, then just book it, they'll be playing catch up while you book it to the end, its not always the best idea but it can help if you're last alive. - If you fail, try and try again, its difficult but you'll make it with enough practice, good luck guys and thanks for the funny video and giving me a chance to reminisce to when I tried this with my cousin. We went through the same pain. Sorry for the paragraph, hope this helps if you end up trying again.
There's a cheese for this achievement if you're fine with that kinda thing. It's how I got it on xbox. Though I'm not sure if it works on pc, especially with the last stand being out. To start things off, load up an EASY realism campaign and go through it as normal. Once you reach the finale safe room, have the people who want the achievement LEAVE the game as soon as it loads up. After that, host will do the finale as normal (i highly recommend dead center for this) and after the second tank is killed, immediately change the difficulty to expert and invite your friends. Finish it and BOOM cheevo is all yours :)
A little side note, if you're doing dead center for this you'd invite your friends and do the difficulty switch right as you're putting in the last gas can. I recommend this map because if you're quick enough, you won't even have to fight a tank at all.
What i did was i went on dark carnival on realism easy play until the final stage once you get the the final quit then switch to expert if you're lucky get a bile bomb from either one of the toilet rooms or kitchen area get on the door shutters where the fireworks would be then you're in a godspot to where commons won't spawn neither specials or tanks wait for the chopper to land near by throw bile as you run you should be home free the only problem you'll have will be the teammate bots unless you're doing it as a 4 man unit
Others posted their tips and tricks. Here are mine. - AK kills in 2 body hits, can be deadly accurate and can be sprayed and kills specials easily - Shotguns are better for those who struggle with aim - Never pick a sniper - Take the defib - Shove after melee attacks, they can't touch you like this if you miss or get a horde on you - If someone is downed, use them as bait - Only heal when black and white or before gauntlets - Know the map and save crucial throwables for difficult parts - Always have at least 1 molotov for tanks - Those in the front: Duck, don't move - In a horde: Don't run around, get a corner or back to back and don't move - If you intend to throw something, call it out. - Take the pills only if you're low and in danger - If someone takes a sniper, that person is the specials killer - If someone takes a sniper, headshot the witch, she stumbles for several seconds, collapse on her in that time. - If someone takes a sniper, they will need a good offhand weapon. - Katana > all melees - Chainsaws can help in Gauntlets - Never pick the grenade Launcher
Tip after watching the video if you guys rly wanna beat this achievement XD 1. If you not usually aim for the head, then using melee or magnum(deadle) is capable for one shot any common infected. Primary is much ideal to clear Special fast 2. When horde coming, try to pick high area to hold since common will took time to climb first 3. Same as no 2, if there’s no elevated area, try to put your back against the wall. This way you will reduce risk of getting atk from behind a lot 4. Reduce amount of friendly fire. Expert is really well known for much dmg you do when shooting teammate so try to not shot teammate and not pass through survivor who’s currently shooting. Trust me this is very life saver XD 5. The most important stay together and stay calm. One panic/stress event (example Horde) can ruin turn your run 180 so fast XD 6. ALWAYS and ALWAYS cover each other. Rescue possible survivors who being caught as fast and as safest as possible. Getting caught by special not only deteriorate their hp quick, but also rendering your caught teammate unable to do anything to help 7. (Good to Know) Current high dps weapon now to shutdown tank is AK47 so it better to have at least 1 teammate to use AK47 for dps dealer
Ive gotten so used to expert realism since i did it almost as soon as i got the game (yes it was miserable but we got good, sorta), and that its kinda funny seeing people doing these same difficulties for the first time just like what me and my friends did, haha
From what I heard, and mainly my source being from WSG, is that Crash Course is a great campaign to get the achievement on, since while the levels are long, its only 2 levels, meaning its also the shortest if you know what your doing...
@@MazetheWolf-Dragon I wouldn't mind playing it if it was on Xbox for purchase/installation if possible, but it won't let me get it which sucks (especially since I have no disc drive and no game sharing)
My tip, the actual easiest map for this achievement is the parish. 1st chapter is very short, the event of the 2nd chapter isnt that hard as long as you rush to the alarm and camp there until the horde ends. 3rd chapter only has that part with the car alarms you have to avoid 4th map has a holdout that shouldnt be too hard. And the finale is just rushing, you can even avoid the tank.
for sure! our problem is both that we wanted the video to actually be entertaining and so we fucked around quite a lot, and that alot of us just haven't played left 4 dead 2 in a while, inaneseven only had 11 hours while i haven't touched the game in a full year by that point, so we def coulda done with some practice on advanced and expert first instead of just jumping right in
I got this achievement in 2014.... I don't remember getting it like, but I was hard in to L4D2 at the time. I also remember joining an unofficial server and getting about 5 achievements all at once.
I may be late asf, but if you wanna try it again, the easiest campaign by far for this achievement is The Parish, 1st chapter is free rushing, 2nd bit harder to rush but with melee still easy, 3rd is hard only because of its length, 4th is the hardest but bc you gotta hold a spot but not for so long, and the last one is to run nonstop.
The environment is your best friend (And sometimes your worst enemy).Doors, cars, and basically everything that you do, the zombies have to do also except for some members of the special infected, they are dirty cheaters). Despite them being able to climb n such, you can insta kill common infected by being on the ledge of where they climb. Idk why but they give up if they see you camping the ledge.
I got the achievement as well as the expert only one. Using the admin system addon in workshop. At first I hesitate to use it but after a while it was good.
Me and my friends got 3 achievement in dark carnival. 1.Expert - realism 2. Play the finale without going down the stage 3. Board gnome in the chopper It's hella fun and frustrating that you have to redo the game multiple times just to complete these.
tip Bots are better than teammates They heal you so basically 3 medkits following you They're good at shooting smokers They shove boomers Only thing theyre bad at is tank fights which is decently easy to avoid if you have a chainsaw to keep the tanks agro and let coach wham on him with an autoshotgun(he's the only bot who always get that) And commons at every side They can only shoot at one direction And all threats will come to you So if your bots is far away from you they are safe As you just get jumped by everything conceivable Which is good if you manage to survive you get a healthy team to back you up if you get downed
I'd argue that getting a 4 vs 4 versus team and winning is harder, even with people intentionally trying to get it. Thats 8 people, including the host of the server, that could potentially have to get off, have internet problems, or be sent to the main menu for no reason.
Are you referring to a different achievement than the video is about? Versus isn't compatible with difficulty adjustment. Not unless you use custom mutations mods or whatever, at least
I've got this achievement twice before. Once with friends in xbox live and once many years later on steam alone. Both times on the plantation because that felt the easiest. I'd like to believe this is why the group broke up on xbox live.
If you ever try doing this again id recommend doing the last stand as you can go for “the last frontier” a 0.8% achievement and “the real deal” at the same time. Its what i did.
I never thought that people found this mode that difficult, I played on expert pretty much since the beginning, and after beating all the campaings the logical step was to add realism in the mix, but I guess most of the player base plays on normal (?)
lmao expert realism was my go to back then because otherwise the game would be too easy for us 4. (we were semi-expert back then, sparring partner for professional team) at the end we go full melee, rush only, no helping each other on expert realism.
For me being able to complete any campaign on expert realism is a matter of a progression in the game that literally has none. It's up to you to set your bar as high as you want, and if you're up to a challenge, there's an achievement for you. Too bad there's no achievement for completing all the campaigns on expert realism, because I'd have had it.
One common mistake i've seen with people playing this game is how they move around so much, as if they're playing valorant or overwatch, or any pvp fps game. Friendly fire doesn't always mean bad aim. Sometimes, having your friends move around so much can also cause unwanted/unintended friendly fires. Might wanna try to at least stand still, or use crouch to help people from the back fire freely.
zombies are melee so there really isn't that much reason to run and shoot unless you need to rush from point A to point B like in crescendo events. Also, whenever there are hordes, try to bunker down in a corner/side instead of staying in the middle of nowhere
0:55 Bro shut up, it's 2.5%. Even I have that achievement. xD I got it YEARS ago back during Peak L4D in like 2014 or something lol. EDIT: 2013!
0:30 not to mention, Friendly fire actually means friendly fire and not friendly tickle.
just bought this game about 2 weeks ago and it is absolute perfection
They made it further than that one guy who called left for dead a walking simulator did and he played on easy, well done gamers. This is like watching me and my cousin playing expert realism for the first time, took us days to get through every single campaign and countless attempts, fuck crash course, fuck plantation defense, and fuck heavy rain in its entirety.
Now for some tips you didnt ask for in case you do end up trying again (please try again this was funny as fuck and I wanna see you gamers succeed)
- Melee weapons are a must, that or the deagle if it available.
It can also cancel parts of the reload animations making reloads very slightly faster, and it can cancel the pump shotgun's pump animation, so you can shoot, shove and get another shot off a little faster
- There's a god spot on no mercy you can abuse if you want an easier time getting the last level done, but I recommend going to crash course, its only 2 levels long, and its got a super tough defense on the 2nd level, but failing 2 levels 200 times is better than failing 5 levels 100 times.
- You can cut the smoker tongue before it hits you if your timing is right
- The best guns on realism are shotguns and automatic guns, aim for the head with rifles, this is because on realism zombies take much less damage in the torso (unless you have a melee or a shotgun)
- Always always always set a tank on fire if possible, but if not, bait a downed teammate, the tank will try and crush them, meaning it can't hit you even if you keep meleeing it, melees do a shit ton of damage to the tank.
@@JustinCase- Or just dont be dumb and download steam achievement manager
@@zerefoex this method is for non steam users obviously you moron
@@zerefoex this method is primarily for people who don't use steam you wet wipe.
Others posted their tips and tricks. Here are mine.
- AK kills in 2 body hits, can be deadly accurate and can be sprayed and kills specials easily
- Shotguns are better for those who struggle with aim
- Never pick a sniper
- Take the defib
- Shove after melee attacks, they can't touch you like this if you miss or get a horde on you
- If someone is downed, use them as bait
- Only heal when black and white or before gauntlets
- Know the map and save crucial throwables for difficult parts
- Always have at least 1 molotov for tanks
- Those in the front: Duck, don't move
- In a horde: Don't run around, get a corner or back to back and don't move
- If you intend to throw something, call it out.
- Take the pills only if you're low and in danger
- If someone takes a sniper, that person is the specials killer
- If someone takes a sniper, headshot the witch, she stumbles for several seconds, collapse on her in that time.
- If someone takes a sniper, they will need a good offhand weapon.
- Katana > all melees
- Chainsaws can help in Gauntlets
- Never pick the grenade Launcher
11:55 all yours guys laugh syncing up is cracking me up 🤣🤣
Tip after watching the video if you guys rly wanna beat this achievement XD
1. If you not usually aim for the head, then using melee or magnum(deadle) is capable for one shot any common infected. Primary is much ideal to clear Special fast
2. When horde coming, try to pick high area to hold since common will took time to climb first
3. Same as no 2, if there’s no elevated area, try to put your back against the wall. This way you will reduce risk of getting atk from behind a lot
4. Reduce amount of friendly fire. Expert is really well known for much dmg you do when shooting teammate so try to not shot teammate and not pass through survivor who’s currently shooting. Trust me this is very life saver XD
5. The most important stay together and stay calm. One panic/stress event (example Horde) can ruin turn your run 180 so fast XD
6. ALWAYS and ALWAYS cover each other. Rescue possible survivors who being caught as fast and as safest as possible. Getting caught by special not only deteriorate their hp quick, but also rendering your caught teammate unable to do anything to help
7. (Good to Know) Current high dps weapon now to shutdown tank is AK47 so it better to have at least 1 teammate to use AK47 for dps dealer
I'm gonna do this with my friends for no reason
If only this game had something like a... Prawn Suit...
Don't remind him😂
I actually did this alone with bots in The Passing campaign lol
Melee and deagle will one shot zombies with ease
I tried this once...never again. Got rekt immediately. Also probably doesnt help that I was playing it by myself because I have no friends
Ive gotten so used to expert realism since i did it almost as soon as i got the game (yes it was miserable but we got good, sorta), and that its kinda funny seeing people doing these same difficulties for the first time just like what me and my friends did, haha
Glad I found this channel lmao, vid is so cozy and really feels like hanging out gaming with the boys in discord 😂
A new subscriber here loving the content men keep it up broo you're going far
I managed to get this achievement by playing on crash course. It was still a nightmare
Ok, why didn't they try Crash Course though? Its short as hell lmao
@@noahhamilton5974 the campaign is short yes, but the chapters are long to advance through

3:49 👮♂️”where?!”
Guess I need to get my friends together so we can suffer
i thought you had like half a million subs when i first watched this, love the video!
From what I heard, and mainly my source being from WSG, is that Crash Course is a great campaign to get the achievement on, since while the levels are long, its only 2 levels, meaning its also the shortest if you know what your doing...
hear me out, The Real Deal achivement solo with no bot addon
I did it on dead center, i never going to use valves survivor bots again
NGL I just stumbled onto this. I honestly love this. I wish I had friends that would play Left 4 Dead with me like this. But I am lonely :(
@@MazetheWolf-Dragon I wouldn't mind playing it if it was on Xbox for purchase/installation if possible, but it won't let me get it which sucks (especially since I have no disc drive and no game sharing)
Dude I can play with you PC version
My tip, the actual easiest map for this achievement is the parish.
1st chapter is very short, the event of the 2nd chapter isnt that hard as long as you rush to the alarm and camp there until the horde ends.
3rd chapter only has that part with the car alarms you have to avoid
4th map has a holdout that shouldnt be too hard.
And the finale is just rushing, you can even avoid the tank.
I think ppl are over dramatic abt this achievement. Its not actually that difficult as they say. You just gotta have a good strat.
for sure! our problem is both that we wanted the video to actually be entertaining and so we fucked around quite a lot, and that alot of us just haven't played left 4 dead 2 in a while, inaneseven only had 11 hours while i haven't touched the game in a full year by that point, so we def coulda done with some practice on advanced and expert first instead of just jumping right in
I got this achievement in 2014.... I don't remember getting it like, but I was hard in to L4D2 at the time. I also remember joining an unofficial server and getting about 5 achievements all at once.
I got this with randoms on Hard Rain... We communicated well enough to get us through the whole thing.
"we have cook to do! We have to deliver cook right?"
best line of 2024
I may be late asf, but if you wanna try it again, the easiest campaign by far for this achievement is The Parish, 1st chapter is free rushing, 2nd bit harder to rush but with melee still easy, 3rd is hard only because of its length, 4th is the hardest but bc you gotta hold a spot but not for so long, and the last one is to run nonstop.
I just watched your video and it inspired me to get this achievement, an hour later and I got it.
I got the achievement as well as the expert only one. Using the admin system addon in workshop. At first I hesitate to use it but after a while it was good.
Me and my friends got 3 achievement in dark carnival.
1.Expert - realism
2. Play the finale without going down the stage
3. Board gnome in the chopper
It's hella fun and frustrating that you have to redo the game multiple times just to complete these.
Playing Expert with strangers are much better. Then get mad at you and get serious in whole campaign, as I get this achievement early.
3:00 half life zombie
tip
Bots are better than teammates
They heal you so basically 3 medkits following you
They're good at shooting smokers
They shove boomers
Only thing theyre bad at is tank fights which is decently easy to avoid if you have a chainsaw to keep the tanks agro and let coach wham on him with an autoshotgun(he's the only bot who always get that)
And commons at every side
They can only shoot at one direction
And all threats will come to you
So if your bots is far away from you they are safe
As you just get jumped by everything conceivable
Which is good if you manage to survive you get a healthy team to back you up if you get downed
3:00 Me when the fentanyl makes me act up
I've got this achievement twice before.
This achievment is a breeze. Just disable director and walk freely to the safezone. Very easy strat
I never thought that people found this mode that difficult, I played on expert pretty much since the beginning, and after beating all the campaings the logical step was to add realism in the mix, but I guess most of the player base plays on normal (?)
I got a great idea for subnautica challenges you gotta complete the game opposite so you spawn in the lava zone and try to beat the game that way
Deadliest special infected besides tank and witch? Smoker. I believe it fully kills you in 5-6 seconds, incapping you in like 2 seconds.
I remember beating swamp fever Expert realism with bots it take me 5 hours with 180+ Restarts
The passing expert realism is easy even w bots (tanks and under the river tour are a lil tricky)
I think you were the one who shot the Gas can with the Spas at 11:05
0:03 and sometimes it's all about the mods babyyyyy!
You know what, I had a really good time with this.
The PAIN HOLY my friend and I tried this on the last stand so we would get both achievements. It Took us 4 days...
I like turtles
1 thing that stay true all the time in all L4d2's play: Make up a plan - Commit to the plan -> Chaos
cant belive what am seen ohhhh my eyes it burns
You and your friends don't like having fun? There's no better game than this. Wow Such Gaming speed running reference. 😂
"We have to do coke" is crazy
bro the real deal was easier than still something to prove i played alone while getting both
Must revisit. MUST
lmao expert realism was my go to back then because otherwise the game would be too easy for us 4. (we were semi-expert back then, sparring partner for professional team)
at the end we go full melee, rush only, no helping each other on expert realism.
4:00 its kind of funny that you guys forgot the defib lol
there's a reason why axes and katanas exist
The knife is better, long range and high attack speed
For me being able to complete any campaign on expert realism is a matter of a progression in the game that literally has none. It's up to you to set your bar as high as you want, and if you're up to a challenge, there's an achievement for you.
Too bad there's no achievement for completing all the campaigns on expert realism, because I'd have had it.
Pro Tip: Swamp Fever is the easiest campaign to get this achievement with friends, and solo.
13:45 OMG nice! xD
Expert 8 is harder for me. Maybe is the hardest vanilla difficulty.
khomchick did get this achievement way back then
I did it under an hour on the Parish yesterday lmao with BOTS
I settle this without damage. Why? To achieve this achievements in one go.
Justice for Peter
Its step club club shoot step club club shot you win
this man is underrated can someone oil him up
While at the same time, someone solo this difficulty.....................
3:45 bro said what???
Does no one know to crouch to avoid friendly fire?
0:55 Bro shut up, it's 2.5%. Even I have that achievement. xD I got it YEARS ago back during Peak L4D in like 2014 or something lol.
EDIT: 2013! Turns out it tells you when you unlocked it. :D
EDIT2: ALSO you revive your team mates with the chest paddles dude. :/ You HAVE to have them, never be without them.
It was easy for me! (Pro guys saved me 1000x times)
Just play "the last stand" or "the sacrifice" i did it with my friends 7 times on this map since they need the achievements
but if you want the game to be more easy to do the last stand is better
3:00 bro think he george floyd
Bro it was the easiest achievement idk how you had trouble IM KIDDING I wanted to die through the whole thing
this video is weally cool
I already done this achievement and expert realism is not that hard for me, not easy and not hard, and the urge for me to help them to finish all the campaign is kinda killing me, i wanna help new players or players that wanna try realism mode, just saying
I hear midnight riders ost I give a like
All of the people in the comments that are like "Dude I finished this achievement so fast". Do you guys want a cookie or something? A gamer of the year award? Lmao just enjoy the vid
Nice video i know it will be hard to get that achievement and also Christ it Lord and he loves you everyone
Hard? I only play realistic expert now
Why do you sound like Evan (VanossGaming)?
tbh this was easy i did it twice, its nothing compared to l4d2 custom maps......
Players with 3k hours: realism expert is like deploying incidiery rounds.
I did this solo at 2am while half in the bag it aint that hard
So good I hacked the achievements
4 hours for this achievement with ai bots.
mfs be like 'Dead Center sucks' my brother in christ you picked the map
notification gang
i fucking dare you to do this with No More Room In Hell 1 on max difficulty (nightmare mode) with realism mode on (only headshots damage zombies, damgae dealt by them is 2x, they spawn wayyyy more) and on the hardest map which imo is nearly impossible with all this, nmo_subside_v5. YOU WILL DO IT IF YOU ARE A MAN WITH BALLS THAT IS NOT A FEMBOY @Lapis
me love shet to easy survive
Actually it is very easy. Take it slow. Bring DE and you can complete it
