I would absolutely LOVE if they had a fireteam that you would see randomly in Campaign, and they were always doing "runs" on the ring like this, and their weapons would upgrade as campaign progressed and you unlocked new toys at FOBs. That would be awesome.
I feel like of all the things Halo Infinite got right, bringing the Razorback with 5 Marines is the greatest hat tilt to how fun it was to do stuff like this in Halo 1-3. EVERY sandbox fight you knew was coming up in those games, you liked for a Warthog and a rocket launcher 🤣, and the Boom Skewer is a NOICE upgrade. This is also the biggest F-U to how easily Marines would die off in earlier Halo games.
Then theres me who tries this and gets flipped by a hunter who apparently can rapid fire snipe me and my marines all instantly die while im flipping the hog back over
The only time in the series I ever got close to this level was the Transport hog on Halo 3 during The Storm level, right before you get to the area where you get meet scarab you can give all of the marines rocket launchers and have the get in your warthog and just do donut's while marines shoot at everything they see.
I remember this and it's one reason why I thought the razor back was OP I remember in Halo CE on the second mission ...if you saved the sniper marine for your side passenger it made things easy ..well now we got 5 seats 🤣👌
While many call this out as ezmode for Legendary... in game there are TONS of places that you can't get vehicles (unless its a banshee) to due to the terrain and places even the marines can't follow do to the height. Not to mention, inside buildings you're on your own. It's also sad if and when you set the Razoback up and then get insta ganked by a grenade or unlucky shot.
True it has its cons but it's fun for exploring and the range the Marines have with sniper variations is amazing at times ...also love your profile pic 😅 "Quick !! cling tenaciously to my buttocks"
Not sure why they buffed the transport hog like this. Should've been obvious this could happen. Wasn't so overpowered in Halo 3 because there was one less seat and the firing arcs were more limited.
I think the warthog is just less versatile. Even with the rocket pod in the back it still can't attack 5 targets at once like the fully loaded razorback can (as proven by this video and others like it)
None of the warthogs or even the Scorpion are a match for a RB with 5 marines. And in this Warthogs are paper targets. One grenade will take out a tire or kill you outright.
I'm curious what 6 shock rifle / pistols will do ( specifically to other vehicles encounters )😅👌 I'll have to try had to take a break my SSD crashed 🤬 got it running again but weather is bad here to risk recording 🥵

If you give up due to terrain you're not trying hard enough. I mountain-goated my Razorback all the way to the Spire
You want OP give every marine in the Razorback a Sentinel beam you get off one of those HVT targets :)

I just load with 2 rockets 2 snipers and then one misc. Typically a cindershot or Hydra. Just vaporizes everything.

I don't think the razorback is OP its just the warthog has always been an insanely underpowered vehicle in all halos.
The razor back does seem to have a little more armor to it though 😉👌

I'm a little confused about how this is anything new. Halo 3 had the personnel transport Warthog too, right? Maybe I'm missing something.
Halo 3 doesn't have this much worldbuilding, or warthog gameplay. Also there's never enough heavy weapons to equip your entire warthog squad.
My fav is 3 of the OP skimmer an 2 of the op sentenal beam great for distance an up close or hydra instead of skimmer
